Hello
I wanna ask if a damaged battery can affect performance of my S3 Mini and what's the average time the phone is able to stay charged with a completely new battery. My battery time sucks (i get max 9 hours if I don't do almost anything on my SMARTphone ). So will replacing my battery solve some of the lag on my device and how many hours should I expect from the newly purchased battery with average usage (max 2 hours music, a few phone calls, max 1 hour gaming-small games mainly and sometimes web surfing). Thanks to anyone that replies. Cheers
EDIT : My battery also heats up to 36-39 degrees celsius while just playing Soccer Stars while listening to music from PowerAmp. I think this isn't even close to normal. If a new battery solves all these issues, I'm willing to buy the best one (presumably original by Samsung)!
EDIT 2 : My phone charges from 1% to 50% for about 30 mins
:bump: for help

Maybe you have a super charger joke make sure that your battery isn't swollen. And yes a battery can affect to performance and hardware. If you use very long a damaged battery then it also cause hardware problem. One time this happen to me on my old LG phone. The battery always got more swollen, so i bought a new battery but only 1 month later was the new battery also swollen like the original battery. It was a hardware problem and i still have this phone with a swollen battery
you should use pure stock rom beacuse most of the custom roms have some battery and voltage tweaks which can cause hardware problem if problem persists then replace your battery
Thanks for your help guys. Recently I tried pure stock ROM, but it was the same, plus I kinda love custom ROMs, which have more battery time What would you suggest I buy as a new battery - an original one specifically for my GT-I8190 or the Ace II battery (which is cheaper) is of the same quality as an original S3 Mini battery ? My current one is for the Ace II (it's the second battery I've changed on this phone)!
if the s3 mini battery is not much more then go with that & see if there is much difference

I got an Ace II 2100mah non-original battery and it's great for now
Sent from my " Black Beauty " using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Here are my stats so far. Can someone tell me if this is normal with a brand new battery, 'cause I forgot what it's like

I have the same problem before. My mini start to auto off then when it's on, the sound of low battery beeping even i just fully charged. The real solution is buy the new battery..
Hello my dear XDA people. I finaly bought a few weeks back the LG G Flex and i am just amazed by it, i wanted i big phone so i can do my jobs on it and with a good battery life that other phones (especialy the Iphones) did not provided. I liked the battery life on it but found an app on play store called DU Battery Saver. I installed that app and found an option when you charge your phone called Trickle Charge, of course i didn't read what i does but after i had read the "Q&A" i still don't understand it. But after i have charged my phone with that option i am using for 3 days (light>medium use of the phone) and still have 50% of my battery? Did i just messed up my battery? I mean..is it a chance that i overcharged my battery and at the next charge will it just die after a few hours?
PS: I also use tasker and kill the blutooth, wifi, data and rotation at night..but i don't think that saves up so much battery.
I know it might sound like a ridiculous question but i am a bit worried now after using this app, maybe other people arround here used it and can explain what that Trickle Charge actualy does.
Thank you.

In my opinion the battery is still working fine, the problem is the battery indicator that's not so precise. It drops quickly from 40 to 15%, after then it lasts for hours.
I've flashed back to kitkat... Tomorrow I will tell you if the problem persist.
would be great to know. having the same problem, but battery drops from about 60& to under 5% in no time, then lasts for still some time before it shuts down finally... but basically the same problem. i THINK it started when I flashed bios 2.02 and kitkat, but not 100% sure about that...
a possible solution to that would be great!
You can find 12000 mah batteries on aliexpress
I have the same problem , battery drains very fast from 50% to 10% then last several hours from 10% to zero . The overall time of the battery from 100% to zero is normal but the battery stats is the problem here I think . Any solution to that problem ?
The tablet is win 10 / andriod 5.0 / bios 2.02 , the problem happened in stock rom and mirek v6.0 rom

I did it and problema doesnt dissapear. I think Mireks ROM messed up with battery and going back does not help. It appears you have to recalibrate on Windows and install stock ROM without loading Android.

I would not be so sure that these batteries have actually 12000mah.
In the past (probably 2-3 years ago) I bought a replacement battery for my motorola droid, which was not original, despite having the same capacity as the original, the new battery lasted almost half comparing with the OEM battery.
I recently bought a used, but very good condition XT1922-9 . I had read beforehand that the battery is great in these.... unfortunately I'm not having the same result. Is there any recommendations for helping battery life on these? Would rooting help or a custom rom (if available on this phone)?

No. It all depends on usage. It has a big battery. What are you comparing it to? And if you're talking screen on time, that's the biggest battery hog no matter what device/battery you have
If I'm doing anything at all it dies fast. Heck it lost 13% while I slept.

13%? Uh, not major.
Try disabling apps you don't use.
I plug mine in at night. But ymmv
In my case:
I used to have LG X Power with a 4100mAh battery and when I charged the phone before bed, the phone stayed at 100% till morning, and in the morning I played 1 game of Golf Clash, which is about 7/8 minutes, the battery was still 100%.
I bought Moto G6 Play, with similar battery of 4000mAh, when I charge it before bed, I clear the list of used application (under the square button), and overnight t lost 4% of power just lying on the desk (with mobile data and WiFi off).
I was expecting similar results as with my previous LG, but unfortunately this phone disappointed me.
Any way to fix it? Maybe changing charger to Fast Charge, or even Regular Charge, instead of Turbo Charge that we have now, will fix it?

Hello guys im new here and also a noob, i just bought this phone and i have a problem with the signal on my phone, its only has 1 bar when i entering a building or even lost, is this normal or software bug or my phone is broken? Please share your opinion with owning a XZ3. Thank you and sorry for my bad english
When you have a Sony phone with a 3300 mah battery and a 2k resolution display, you can't expect much in terms of the battery life.
