Is there a working version on lollipop update?
bump
what is so hard to understand? xposed for lollipop currently needs a custom recovery to install. there is no working custom recovery for the z3c yet.
Sent from my D5803
And why not looking around in the XPOSED section. And there is an alpha version out. so Yes, there is.
Well I installed a prerooted version of Lollipop on my Z3 D6603, and installed the Xposed Framework while in recovery. It worked before I tried to install Lolistat, after which I was stuck in a boot loop. So no, it doesn't work right now.

It has nothing to do with lolistat, I expect. I have a rooted D6633 running stock LP; you flash the .zip, first boot is ok (the art optimizer runs on all app) - but it starts bootlooping once you reboot after that first (successful) boot. The only thing I did was, install a bunch of updates - not even the Xposed apk.
And btw, I did that after the first attempt, during which - on first boot - I installed the apk, appopsexposed and serjar's thing, then enabled those 2 modules, plus the greenify one which already existed (I assumed it was one of those) - but nope, it wasn't, unless the framework somehow enabled the greenify one behind my back and that caused the problem (which I find rather unlikely).

I posted this ages ago...I have Xposed fully working now. If you're still having problems, there are solutions.
You can either install AndroPlus Kernel, which patches the thing that breaks Xposed, or install this fix http://www.theandroidsoul.com/havin...n-your-sony-xperia-device-try-this-fix-76894/

Hi All,
After a recent flash of ARHD 71.1 (HTC One M7), I cannot get the Framework to work. I just get the message ""The latest version of Xposed is currently not active. Did you install the framework and reboot?" I've tried:
uninstalling the framework then re-installing by downloading the apk.
disabling all Xposed modules and re-installing the framework
uninstalling the framework and installing an older version
installing the unstable beta version of the framework
disabling/re-enabling permissions in SuperSU
In the 'Framework' tab of the app, the 'app_process' and 'XposedBridge.jar' both show a red line under the 'active' column. The bundled counts are 58 and 54 respectively.
The modes I'm trying to use are:
Advanced Power Menu
Boot Manager
Hide Xposed IME
Network Speed Indicator
Sense 6 Toolbox
Swiftkey Goodness on More Fields
XDual Statusclock
Xposedstatues Text
YouTube AdAway
I've had various Xposed mods working before I updated ARHD, so I have no idea what's going wrong now.
Possibly relevant:
I could never get Sense 6 toolbox to work from within ARHD, even before I started adding other mods:
My first install of Xposed was via Aroma at the same time as I installed ARHD 71.1.
I hope somebody can help me here!
Thanks

Yes, I've looked through the FAQs but I can't find anything that's completely relevant.
There seem to be issues (bootloops) with the Oppo Framework, I don't have a fix yet.

On some HTC One phones with CM11, the System UI force crashes. This seems to be caused by SELinux restrictions

As far as I know, I'm not running a CM ROM. Anyway, I'm not getting FCs.
Apart from that, obviously it won't work if the conditions mention above aren't met, e.g. if your phone isn't rooted

Yes, of course it's rooted!
Does Xposed get disabled if I flash a new ROM? Yes, because the file it modifies, /system/bin/app_process, is part of every ROM and will be overwritten when you flash a ROM. However, as long as you don't wipe data, the Xposed Installer app will still be installed, so you can just click on "install/update" again in the Framework section and reboot.

Xposed was installed with the new ROM via Aroma, so this isn't relevant.

The FAQ doesn't end there - there 8 additional posts. If those don't help, post your Xposed logs after a reboot.

Hi Germain,
Yes, I've read them all. But none of the other FAQs are anything to do with getting the Framework functioning.
I've just gone into the Framework tab, hit 'update/install' which has cased a reboot (as designed) and now I've gone into the Logs section, but the only message there is 'Log Is Empty'.
I'm wondering if the fact that I'm running the ARHD version of Sense 6 toolbox is causing problems? I presume this would only work if Xposed is installed (via Aroma at the same time as I flashed the ARHD ROM), but perhaps it's a 'standalone' version of Sense 6 toolbox? Just reading back that last sentence makes no sense to me, but then I'm open to any possibilities at this stage!
One of my mods is APM (Advanced Power Menu), and I've noticed that there is a special Xposed Installer quoted in an APM post specifically for the Sony Xperia. Might there be any special installer for the HTC One that I'm not seeing anywhere?

S-On is active.
Before installing via recovery - I think I should do a COMPLETE uninstall of the Framework, but not from within the app itself, as that hasn't seemed to work. Any ideas of how to do that?
Thanks for all your help and patience so far!

Excellent! But I'm not sure how to install and apk using recovery. I know how to flash a zip, but not an APK. I'm using TWRP 2.6.3.3. Do I need to use the adb sideload feature and install if from my laptop?
Sorry for this noob question!

Change the installation method in the Xposed Installer's settings.
Hi GermainZ,
I had to get back on board my cruise ship before your last post so my apologies for taking so long to reply. In the end, I did a complete re-flash of ARHD 71.1 and rebooted twice (just to make sure) before attempting to activate and xposed mods. This seems to have done the trick. One of the mods doesn't seem to be working at the moment, so I plan to de-activate them all, reboot, then activate them one-by-one, rebooting in between each. I've read that this is sometimes necessary. If I have any further problems I will of course post again but, for now, thank you very much for your time and help.
Regards,
miles_muso
Hi all!
I wonder if anyone managed to install Xposed & Xprivacy on Lollipop? I tried to install xposed, flashed it through the recovery, restarted the phone which was apparently working fine. I installed then the xposed module manager, it was saying that xposed was installed. I restarted the phone and this time I had a bootloop.
So my question is, has anyone succeeded?
Thanks

No luck... even with unlocked BL, Root, and the new Xposed 3.0 alpha3 (xposed-sdk21-arm-20150426.zip)...
Exact same symptoms. Everything else works, but only xprivacy causes the loop...
Anyone else have luck?
Well the développer of xprivacy said that it triggers a bug in xposed and that it cannot do anything before xposed gets updated (which can take time as the xposed developer only works on it as a leisure)

Have anyone succesfully got Xposed Framework running on stock 5.0.2 L90 D415??
I think you have to get a new recovery (twrp) in order to install xposed and then install the rom again.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
I flashed the zip file, wiped cache, and reboot. My phone booted up but i got com.android.phone force closing. Weather app also force closes. And since com.android.phone force closes you get no signal.
My experience...did the lollipop ota for tmo, didn't really care for it much. Used one click root, added flashify and twrp custom recovery and did a nandroid backup. Installed xposed arm zip and it just stuck on the lg logo for quite a long time. Second attempt i did the wipe after installing xposed and it made it past lg logo to tmo boot and hung up. In my reading, saw something about xposed will not work on stock firmware. But isn't xposed for people that want to mod stock roms? Main thing is...back up before anything. Have already used mine 4 times.
So I originally flashed the latest xposedv66 and was not successful. Found xposed-arm-20150213b.zip everything looked good, even had signal. Like you, weather app stopped. So, I tried file manager to get to the installer and it stopped also..
If you're going to do it, BACK UP BEFORE YOU INSTALL. I cannot get it to work, reason why? I do not have the logs but if you install liveboot and activate it, then install the zip and reboot, liveboot will show you a command that is supposed to activate but fails and retries. Its essentially a bootloop but without the reboot. It will not allow you to boot without that feature being activated. Do it for yourself but remember to back up all system partitions and restore them. When you reboot after restore, the system will do the whole 'optimizing apps 1 out of 200' thing so don't worry if it takes a while to boot. Will have more on this when I get home to my laptop.

I tried the one you suggested and I successfully rebooted. However, Lollipop ran slower and then I opened the alpha apk that came on the official thread. It said alpha 3.0 was installed but not activated. So I just decided to restore to before I installed. Xposed is being worked on and its in its alpha stage. Its bound to have bugs. Since THE D415 already has root, I'm fine to wait for an official version of Xposed that works to come out. Also, Even though I had 2 Gigs of data left on internal, there was a notification pestering me saying there was little to no storage left on my phone. Otherwise, no app crashes.

Flashing the ROM again will only wipe/remove xposed.
It's a known fact that lg weather doesnt work on xposed lollipop i also found that file manager didnt work during my period of testing, i don't know if i experienced com.android.phone force closing since I restored from my backup but xposed is definitely not usable on stock lollipop.

There are newer versions of xposed that fix compatibility issues with LG's encrypted apps (weather, etc) since my post, so they should work with the newer versions of xposed. I only recommended version v68 because I never really use LG apps so I went ahead with such an update. Hope this helps!
Xposed for visually impaired users
Hi, everyone!
I'm visually impaired and I've been "adapting" and customizing my stuff (for a better, more comfortable usability) since 1998 (for Win and Mac) and 2010 for mobile devices, with great success.
I could install the Xposed framework to my Galaxy Tab 3 running KK 4.4.2 (Serbian Stock) back in 2012. But I cannot find a way to install it to my LG L90 D410 running Lollipop 5.0.2.
The option for those specific brands and models in based on the need for good cost-benefit ratio pieces of equipment, so that anyone can benefit from my findings, even those running on a low budget.
I'm preparing a podcast and an YouTube channel on accessibility.
All that put, I'd appreciate any input on how to make the Xposed framework to work on the LG L90. Suggestions o modules that can be useful for vision impaired people will be very welcome too.
Thanks in advance for any help I can get.
I have a Verizon HTC One M8 (rooted, S-Off, TWRP, unlocked bootloader) that I have finally upgraded from 4.4.4 to 6.0. To prevent any possible radio problems I read about I did a factory reset from the bootloader screen to ensure a fresh install. After making sure that the Marshmallow worked fine I flashed the ARM framework 85 through TWRP and then installed the Xposed app. Now I am stuck where it is not working and I have searched but could not find anyone with the same problem here. I'll include a screenshot so that you know what I mean.

I had the same problem the first time I upgraded from Kit Kat to Marshmallow. My problem was that when I upgraded I reflashed the same modules that I had been using on Kit Kat..I found the modules that weren't working, uninstalled them, then re-installed the appropriate versions for Marshmallow (enabled the modules and rebooted) and everything worked great.. if this applies to you then give it a shot.
As far as your screenshot everything is working perfectly
I'm assuming that perhaps the unusable install/update and uninstall buttons maybe confusing you. That's normal those buttons no longer do anything they are only eyecandy at this juncture.
All versions must (at this time) be installed in Custom Recovery for those three functions. I hope I'm understanding your issue
I've been reading thousands of forum entries on how to install the xposed framework for my device and I can't seem to get it. They all end the same way -- stuck at the Verizon logo screen.
I am using a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 on stock Lollipop (5.0.1). I only have the stock bootloader thanks to it being locked before I laid hands on the device, but I do have Flashfire, Root, SuperSU. Each time I fail, I use ODIN to flash I545VRUGOF1_I545VZWGOF1_I545VRUGOF1_HOME.tar and try again.
I have tried using a deodexed rom by flashing the above with ODIN, then using Flashfire to OTA update: I545_OF1_Stock_Rooted_Deodexed_ROM.zip
Next, install the XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk
I then tried flashing:
xposed-v71-sdk21-arm-arter97-V6-snapdragon
xposed-v75-sdk21-arm-arter97-snapdragon
xposed-v86-sdk21-arm
They all result in freezing on the Verizon logo during boot.
I can flash xposed-sdk21-arm-20150430-arter97 on to the deodexed rom and it will work, but the Xposed Installer says it's not the most recent and all modules yield the same error:
This module requires a newer XposedBridge version (30) and thus cannot be activated.
Then I try with the stock rom (odexed).
I can flash:
xposed-v71-sdk21-arm-arter97-V6-snapdragon
xposed-v75-sdk21-arm-arter97-snapdragon
xposed-v86-sdk21-arm
Without a crash; So long as the XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk is not installed. If I install the XposedInstaller then try to flash, it hangs on the Verizon logo during boot.
Finally, if I flash the zips first, then reboot and install the XposedInstaller it will yield me the same result of not the most recent version and I get the requires newer bridge for all modules.
Because it's an S4 there are hundreds of forums and guides, but I can't find one that applies to me. That makes me either the worst internet researcher in the world -- or I'm missing something so obvious that it's embarrassing...well, humiliating.
Can anyone offer a suggestion? ...and yes, I've read every read only forum to the last line and every XDA Lollipop forum. I've reflashed my phone almost two dozen times trying different suggestions with absolutely no luck.
I was having similar issues trying to get xposed on 5.0.1.
Long story short I gave up and flashed 5.1.1 onto my Note 4 and used wanam's custom xposed framework.

Well, thank you for the effort.

I don't suppose you'd be willing to use FlashFire to make a full backup (minus your cache, of course) to share?

Hello.
Can anyone explain the steps to install Xposed framework on the Samsung Galaxy S4 SCH-i545, rooted with stock ROM 5.0.1? I found and downloaded the two files noted in krusherkills123's post, but Flashfire only shows the XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4 under "Flash firmware package" where it brings up a blank "Partitions" screen and no options.
I used Flashfire to flash the other file, xposed-v85.0-samsung-5.0.x-sdk21-test-by-dkcldark.zip, which I hated to do since I have no idea what it actually does. Since I don't know what it does, I can't confirm that flashing it was successful.
Any help would be appreciated.
Same question here, rooted Verizon S4 I545VRSGPL1, can I install xposed? This is stock rom, rooted with kingroot then cleaned to use SuperSU
People have done with OF1, not sure about PL1, but they are not far apart
Thx!
