Have anyone succesfully got Xposed Framework running on stock 5.0.2 L90 D415??
I think you have to get a new recovery (twrp) in order to install xposed and then install the rom again.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
I flashed the zip file, wiped cache, and reboot. My phone booted up but i got com.android.phone force closing. Weather app also force closes. And since com.android.phone force closes you get no signal.
My experience...did the lollipop ota for tmo, didn't really care for it much. Used one click root, added flashify and twrp custom recovery and did a nandroid backup. Installed xposed arm zip and it just stuck on the lg logo for quite a long time. Second attempt i did the wipe after installing xposed and it made it past lg logo to tmo boot and hung up. In my reading, saw something about xposed will not work on stock firmware. But isn't xposed for people that want to mod stock roms? Main thing is...back up before anything. Have already used mine 4 times.
So I originally flashed the latest xposedv66 and was not successful. Found xposed-arm-20150213b.zip everything looked good, even had signal. Like you, weather app stopped. So, I tried file manager to get to the installer and it stopped also..
If you're going to do it, BACK UP BEFORE YOU INSTALL. I cannot get it to work, reason why? I do not have the logs but if you install liveboot and activate it, then install the zip and reboot, liveboot will show you a command that is supposed to activate but fails and retries. Its essentially a bootloop but without the reboot. It will not allow you to boot without that feature being activated. Do it for yourself but remember to back up all system partitions and restore them. When you reboot after restore, the system will do the whole 'optimizing apps 1 out of 200' thing so don't worry if it takes a while to boot. Will have more on this when I get home to my laptop.

I tried the one you suggested and I successfully rebooted. However, Lollipop ran slower and then I opened the alpha apk that came on the official thread. It said alpha 3.0 was installed but not activated. So I just decided to restore to before I installed. Xposed is being worked on and its in its alpha stage. Its bound to have bugs. Since THE D415 already has root, I'm fine to wait for an official version of Xposed that works to come out. Also, Even though I had 2 Gigs of data left on internal, there was a notification pestering me saying there was little to no storage left on my phone. Otherwise, no app crashes.

Flashing the ROM again will only wipe/remove xposed.
It's a known fact that lg weather doesnt work on xposed lollipop i also found that file manager didnt work during my period of testing, i don't know if i experienced com.android.phone force closing since I restored from my backup but xposed is definitely not usable on stock lollipop.
Newest xposed version v68 works great! No phone FCs. Now go download it!!!
Where can I download the newest version at because all of them up to this point are not stable on my lg 90 415d , I tried v71 and everytime I try to open my gmail Google Play services force closes

Weather app, File manager app works on Lollipop D415 no problem or still buggy with some apps but fixed some others?

There are newer versions of xposed that fix compatibility issues with LG's encrypted apps (weather, etc) since my post, so they should work with the newer versions of xposed. I only recommended version v68 because I never really use LG apps so I went ahead with such an update. Hope this helps!
Xposed for visually impaired users
Hi, everyone!
I'm visually impaired and I've been "adapting" and customizing my stuff (for a better, more comfortable usability) since 1998 (for Win and Mac) and 2010 for mobile devices, with great success.
I could install the Xposed framework to my Galaxy Tab 3 running KK 4.4.2 (Serbian Stock) back in 2012. But I cannot find a way to install it to my LG L90 D410 running Lollipop 5.0.2.
The option for those specific brands and models in based on the need for good cost-benefit ratio pieces of equipment, so that anyone can benefit from my findings, even those running on a low budget.
I'm preparing a podcast and an YouTube channel on accessibility.
All that put, I'd appreciate any input on how to make the Xposed framework to work on the LG L90. Suggestions o modules that can be useful for vision impaired people will be very welcome too.
Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

Hi guys. I'm going to apologize in advance that I am a noob when it comes to hacking and rooting. I've successfully gained root access to my Verizon LG G2 using my computer. I used originally used an app called G2 Tweaksbox that allows you to change a lot of things about the phone. But then I wanted to try the famous CM 11. I did the tutorial on youtube, but I didn't install the GAPPS zip. Then I rebooted my phone and now it became stuck on the LG startup screen but looping over and over again. I've tried to hard reset it but it won't work. Is there any possible way to fix this, because I used another family members upgrade to get this phone after I broke my last one? Please don't judge but please help me if you can.:crying::crying::crying:

If you did a nano backup then restore that if not you are going to have to do the revert back to stock. But for your information for later on. If you install xposed with any modules. Make sure to properly Uninstall all them before you change roms or make any changes
One last thing the official cm rom is no longer supported. No one to work on the g2 anymore

I had issues with my phone messing up if I kept xposed with modules installed still when I did clear all and installed a rom. Not sure why but I Uninstall now and no issues anymore. I actually lost knock on once leaving xposed installed. I confirmed it with going back to my nano Uninstalling xposed and knock on worked fine

Yeah I downloaded xposed and I got the latest module for support. I had no idea that you needed to delete them after you wanted to download a new ROM. Okay so do I fix this? My phone is stuck looping on the LG bootup message and the only way I can stop it is by hard reseting it and that just turns it off. How do I access it on my computer and reflash the stock? Please help.

what is so hard to understand? xposed for lollipop currently needs a custom recovery to install. there is no working custom recovery for the z3c yet.

And why not looking around in the XPOSED section. And there is an alpha version out. so Yes, there is.
Well I installed a prerooted version of Lollipop on my Z3 D6603, and installed the Xposed Framework while in recovery. It worked before I tried to install Lolistat, after which I was stuck in a boot loop. So no, it doesn't work right now.

It has nothing to do with lolistat, I expect. I have a rooted D6633 running stock LP; you flash the .zip, first boot is ok (the art optimizer runs on all app) - but it starts bootlooping once you reboot after that first (successful) boot. The only thing I did was, install a bunch of updates - not even the Xposed apk.
And btw, I did that after the first attempt, during which - on first boot - I installed the apk, appopsexposed and serjar's thing, then enabled those 2 modules, plus the greenify one which already existed (I assumed it was one of those) - but nope, it wasn't, unless the framework somehow enabled the greenify one behind my back and that caused the problem (which I find rather unlikely).

Hey, no worries It just felt pretty damn strange - "hey, use your stuff, from over there..."
I tried once and the phone was able to boot but my Google Services kept crashing upon loading the apps, but I am not sure if that was because I disabled some of the system apps (probably was honestly), thankfully I made a TWRP backup after rooting and was able to restore my phone, but since the FXZ hasn't been released yet for 5.1 I am hesitant to try again if nobody else has gotten it to work...
Has anyone had any success with installing the latest Xposed Alpha while on Lolipop 5.1?
Edit: Meh, screw it, trying again, I'll keep you guys updated on my progress...
Edit2: Booted up fine with no Google Services errors but complained about a modules.list file while initializing the framework so I am re-installing and wiping cache
Edit3: Same error, so I downloaded a module, enabled it and rebooted my phone
Edit4: After another lengthy optimization process... still doesn't work, stuck on Xposed initializing, downloaded a new version made on 6/24 and trying that with a cache wipe
Edit5: Still doesn't work, same error, stuck on "Initializing XposedBridge version 64"
Edit6: Determined to get this to work... so I uninstalled Xposed Installer alpha 3 and am using alpha 2
Edit7: After installing the older Installer alpha, I see that the framework version numbers are being reported correctly! Enabling a module and rebooting
Edit8: No crash for the test module, rebooting with GravityBox and XGels for a final test before confirming that it works
Edit9: Works like a charm! I'll post a tutorial in the general section on how to get it working
I got it working about two weeks ago, was working fine. I ended up flashing to the backup before xposed because some of the modules weren't working yet in lollipop and others that were, the custom rom that I'm running already covered the same thing in settings
Sent from my Moto X using Tapatalk
Installed yesterday, the alpha 2 worked fine here as well, but I only use GravityBox.

There is no functional Xposed for Nougat (yet)
Hey everyone!
Since there is no dedicated thread for how to install Xposed for the P9 Lite yet, I thought I quickly provide the method how I made it work for future users.
What you need?
- Unlocked BL
- TWRP Installer
- Root
So you want to get the version of Xposed provided by Wanam. Version 86 for arm64 is what you are looking for! You can get it here.
UPDATE: I experienced extreme battery drain and crashing settings with version 86. I am now using version 84 and all is fine again.
Don't worry that it says Samsung devices in the thread.
Download the zip package that you need and place it somewhere. Then download the Xposed installer apk.
For example here in the first post attached.
Install the apk.
Now it's time to fire up TWRP and make a backup!
Then flash the zip you have downloaded before. If you downloaded the right version, it should flash without errors.
Now reboot. BE PATIENT. It can take several minutes for the first boot.
That's it. You should now be able to use Xposed modules like enabling background play on official YoutTube app :victory:
Sidenote: some people mentioned that you may need to switch your SELinux mode to permissive. Since I had it on permissive in the first place I don't know if it's really the case.
PS: leave a like for the guys providing these awesome Xposed frameworks if you download them :good:

Hmm I did not encounter something like this. However, I did receive some errors earlier with backups in TWRP. Maybe there is a bug in this TWRP version for this device.
Afaik it is ported from the Chinese version of the P9 Lite so I don't really know who is working on this.
But it is strange. Have you tried to flash it a second time? Maybe just a weird bug?
Since I was able to install it just fine...
Uhm, i'm bit afraid cause i have done a full reset after that problem. I think i will wait before doing it again

guys does this package works on l31 phones because I got already a bootloop with the l21 guide mentioned above..ty
Yes, i've done it like mentioned above and its working perfectly on my l31. As you see on my Screenshots. Authentication Info with the xposed Flat Style bar indicators and coloured Bars. But it booted and its working.
Also getting bootloop on my L31 - complains about not enough space on device when trying to flash.

As far as I know the official and latest version of Xposed works in Huawei, You just have to disable themes in build.prop
Check this out:

The flatstyle colored Bars is working without problems. Version 2.1.0 its changing Statusbar color like orange on xda and red on YouTube. An the navbar changes between white Grey and black or transparent depending on Main brightness of the whole window. I've had installed xposed-v86.0-sdk23-arm64-custom-build-by-wanam-20160709 like mentioned above. And I first thought I got stuck in Boot loop But it run for around 15 minutes before the system booted up. Let it settle and before booting clean Cache and Dalvik.

I've installed the official version and it's working like a charm.
Hi, my phone version is VNS-L31/ B105 (Wind branded).
I can confirm everithing is working just fine after installing official xposed apk from the official thread
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811) and flashing the last framework "xposed-v86-sdk23-arm64.zip" from the link in the same thread.
No errors reported during flashing, albeit i just have to wait 5-10 minutes during rebooting before the UI to appear.
I'll give you some tips on some issues i dealt with and some modules i've installed:
1) "DoubleTapToSleep - working
2)GravityBox - not everything is working, i've just set the hardware keys actions to run some applications, but the recents key isn't working as default setting. Power tweaks section isn't working too. QuickSettings aren't working even disabling the two strings in build.prop file.
3)If you want an advanced reboot menu then try the module "NeoPowerMenu". in order to make it working you have to go in advanced settings and enable the function "ExperimentalPhoneWindowManager hook" then reboot and it should be working.
4) XPrivacy - working
5) i experienced problems with some apps that need to stay in background like ZDcalendar for if I close the app from the Recent apps window, the alarms or notifications scheduled are not notified. I suppose it's due to battery saving settings. I solved going to the app section--->then the app I want to manage--->battery--->enabling "keep running after screen off".
i had the same problem with the app Twilight, in fact when i closed the recent apps from the recents window, the app just shut down.
enabling the function mentioned above will prevent the app from closing unless you kill it manually.
Hope this will help, bye!
I've been reading thousands of forum entries on how to install the xposed framework for my device and I can't seem to get it. They all end the same way -- stuck at the Verizon logo screen.
I am using a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 on stock Lollipop (5.0.1). I only have the stock bootloader thanks to it being locked before I laid hands on the device, but I do have Flashfire, Root, SuperSU. Each time I fail, I use ODIN to flash I545VRUGOF1_I545VZWGOF1_I545VRUGOF1_HOME.tar and try again.
I have tried using a deodexed rom by flashing the above with ODIN, then using Flashfire to OTA update: I545_OF1_Stock_Rooted_Deodexed_ROM.zip
Next, install the XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk
I then tried flashing:
xposed-v71-sdk21-arm-arter97-V6-snapdragon
xposed-v75-sdk21-arm-arter97-snapdragon
xposed-v86-sdk21-arm
They all result in freezing on the Verizon logo during boot.
I can flash xposed-sdk21-arm-20150430-arter97 on to the deodexed rom and it will work, but the Xposed Installer says it's not the most recent and all modules yield the same error:
This module requires a newer XposedBridge version (30) and thus cannot be activated.
Then I try with the stock rom (odexed).
I can flash:
xposed-v71-sdk21-arm-arter97-V6-snapdragon
xposed-v75-sdk21-arm-arter97-snapdragon
xposed-v86-sdk21-arm
Without a crash; So long as the XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk is not installed. If I install the XposedInstaller then try to flash, it hangs on the Verizon logo during boot.
Finally, if I flash the zips first, then reboot and install the XposedInstaller it will yield me the same result of not the most recent version and I get the requires newer bridge for all modules.
Because it's an S4 there are hundreds of forums and guides, but I can't find one that applies to me. That makes me either the worst internet researcher in the world -- or I'm missing something so obvious that it's embarrassing...well, humiliating.
Can anyone offer a suggestion? ...and yes, I've read every read only forum to the last line and every XDA Lollipop forum. I've reflashed my phone almost two dozen times trying different suggestions with absolutely no luck.
I was having similar issues trying to get xposed on 5.0.1.
Long story short I gave up and flashed 5.1.1 onto my Note 4 and used wanam's custom xposed framework.
Galaxy S4
I don't believe there is a stock 5.1 firmware for the Galaxy S4. More importantly, I have to believe you can install Xposed on the S4. I just hate feeling like I'm missing something so simple!!

I think I might love you.
I haven't seen that v85 file anywhere. I'm going to go search for it now. Thank you!

That went faster than I expected. Going to give it a flash now.
Well, thank you for the effort.
It flashed very quickly and then rebooted without a problem, but the Xposed Installer still shows, "The Xposed framework is not installed. Please download the latest ZIP file from XDA and flash it manually via recovery." and all the modules say, "..requires a newer XposedBridge version (30) and thus cannot be activated".
I don't suppose you'd be willing to use FlashFire to make a full backup (minus your cache, of course) to share?

Thank you! I uninstalled Xposed Installer and rebooted. Reinstalled Xposed Installer, rebooted, then flashed the file again. Upon that reboot it did the, "Upgraded file xx of xx" and now it's installed!
I can't thank you enough!
View attachment xposed-v65-sdk21-arm-arter97-V5-krait.zip
View attachment de.robv.android.xposed.installer_v33_36570c-1.apk
The Wanam Module is the only thing that I've used.

Could you provide the steps you used to achieve this? Thanks!
Please explain how to do this.
Hello.
Can anyone explain the steps to install Xposed framework on the Samsung Galaxy S4 SCH-i545, rooted with stock ROM 5.0.1? I found and downloaded the two files noted in krusherkills123's post, but Flashfire only shows the XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4 under "Flash firmware package" where it brings up a blank "Partitions" screen and no options.
I used Flashfire to flash the other file, xposed-v85.0-samsung-5.0.x-sdk21-test-by-dkcldark.zip, which I hated to do since I have no idea what it actually does. Since I don't know what it does, I can't confirm that flashing it was successful.
Any help would be appreciated.
Same question here, rooted Verizon S4 I545VRSGPL1, can I install xposed? This is stock rom, rooted with kingroot then cleaned to use SuperSU
People have done with OF1, not sure about PL1, but they are not far apart
Thx!
