KmicICS

hi there,
does anybody know which kernel wizard_polska uses in his kmicics beta? are there any other known issues then wlan atm? and what about the all-day-problem of reboots/freezes/sleep of death or something similiar? i am looking for some rom that runs more stable and does not have this big bug in it.
Wizard use redpill kernel in his build..but if you wanted to use a stable build and no bugs..just stick with gingerbread rom..try kimic 6 final..im using it right now..
(҂`☐´)︻╦̵̵̿╤── .:system:.
i tried, but all the icons and fonts are so big and there seems so less place on the screen in 240dpi. this is a little luxury in the roms since ICS/CM7 i don't wanna miss!
but i can disclaim to all the other new things. jelly bean is nice and good, i am really happy to have such a new rom on my good old tab and i am proud to the devs who solved that.
BUT for my there is no more all-day-use a long time ago. if i use my tab with battery plugged in, it is just getting empty always reboots when i do not need them and everyday something new that doesn't work, but on the other hand a new partition layout or something else that is working... in the newest CM10.1 there is no bluetooth anymore, i am sure the devs are working on it, but my battery is low all time. the only revolution that could rescue that all would be the linux 3.x-kernel.
and it was fine always to go with the newest of the new roms, but now i am tired of this and just want back to a tab where everything works fine, maybe with such a lower dpi then 240 and to get it perfect the status bar at the bottom with an energy-bar where i can adjust everything i want with one click. and please so that my battery lifes maybe more then - with good luck - one day.
maybe that is too much again...

[Q] Camera in Jelly Bean will not leave flash off

Every time I start the camera after the Jelly Bean upgrade, it is set to auto flash even though I disabled flash the last time I used the camera. I remember running into this on my Droid 2 after the upgrade to Gingerbread. I remember I did something to fix it, but can't remember what.
Might one of the fine people here come up with a hack of some kind that would allow me to make all camera settings permanent?
Thank you.

[Q] Ace won't go to sleep after new rom

I know it's old, but I used to get 2~3 days use out of my Ace before this new rom I just flashed. Now I'm lucky to get more than 1/2 a day. I've used betterbatterystats and I think it's the Google Play Services...the phone was awake 100%..it wouldn't go into deep sleep. I tried disabling then just uninstalled it. I'm going to try reading up on the BBS to see if I can understand how to fix this..if not I'll have to find another rom. But I really like this one...
This is what is giving me the problem,
[ROM][CM7.2] <<<<||The Ultimatum||>>>> !!!Updated!!! [01|02|2014]
Any suggestions for a rom that is lite and stable, not too flashy, that will give me a bit more life for my ace?
My model is GTS5830D
The BBS narrowed it down for me..plus some trial and error and it appears it's the bluetooth keeping the phone awake 100%. Once I turn it off it takes a nap.
Since I'm unable to figure a workaround (tried bluesleep.fix but didn't make a difference) I'll have to look for another rom. Too bad..I really liked that one...
Well, I tried " [ROM][CM11] - modded - [experimental-20140123] " and same problem, phone doesn't go into deep sleep. Another very nice rom thou ..aside from the fact I can't use it it worked very smoothly and responsive
Either I'm doing something terribly wrong, or it's something to do with this Canadian version GTS5830D
Hopefully someone can give me some suggestions as to how to fix. I did go back to a GB and it looked REALLY OLD!
Hi,
Try the AOSP Gingerbread for Cooper by @SpaceCaker. It is incredibly lite, fast and stable. My personal preference, use it along with Pure Performance Script and you have a beast at your hand.

[Q] Problems with JB(i9070p)

Hi guys.
I am very very new to android development/rooting/custom roms etc so sorry in advance for such a question which might look silly for you, however I am a big noob in this.
So, basically I own I9070P and was very happy with it while it was on original firmware(Gingerbread), however my silly head decided to upgrade it to JB (did it through Kies).
Now...my phone sucks. It hangs, turns off automatically when more than 2 apps are run, battery on wi-fi connection is dying instantly, camera is laggy, in general I turned my phone into a piece of **.
So I was wondering is there anything I could do to fix it?
I would like to stay on JB or upgrade onto something newer, so please do not suggest rolling back to gingerbread.
Thank you very much in advance!

Root, install CoCore kernel, debloat, use PegasusQ governor and SIO for IO Scheduler. You have most of that on Development section, just search.
BTW there is no similar battery life on JB like it was on GB...

[Q] ROM thoughts, been gone a while...

Hey everyone,
I have a question for you guys since i haven't been around in a long while..
I'm running Temesak 2.6.32.59 on the snappyOC kernel ....yes, i'm still on 2.3.7. (Temesak 135.3)
Since my phone has been acting odd lately (namely falling into Airplane mode by itself... very annoying), i was either going to wipe it and start over or try something different.
What i need to have functional i the Bluetooth for the car, and Wifi tether for when i'm on the road (to my laptop)...
I'm not sure about ICS and above due to the phone's limitations (cpu, ram, etc) I would like something smooth and stable.
....does anyone have any ideas??
THANKS!!
There problems with bluetooth with jb and up. I have no ideas about cm9 but if I am not mistaken all cm9 roms are terrible because there were no ics sources at that time. Maybe a modoified ics stock based rom could fit your needs.
If you want something basic, smooth and stable, then LG stock ICS is good. You can at least expect the basics to be right
If you need root capabilities, then as bitdomo said you can find a stock ICS based custom ROM.
Just wanted to say thanks so far for the great advice!
Maybe i'll try an ICS rom.... any ideas?
I've really grown found of Temesak's GB, has never let me down along with the overclocking and ramhack... did i mention i really like this Rom?
I need something that can be used everyday and has functioning Bluetooth (for my car audio/phone) and Wifi Tethering
Any ideas?
....or i was going to wipe the phone and reinstall Temesak's 135 GB
(what's the best best way to wipe a phone and reinstall, according to you?)
