So, i have seen that to days ago, development begun on github for d959,
A post titled cm12
I am thrilled, but i don't have any brains about developing. Other than the fact
That it is cyanogenmod 12, is it anywhere close to be in working order?
Anyone know anything???

Hey everyone,
Been a member here for quite some time, but haven't been nearly as active here as other places, no reason, just caught on more at other places early on, and Would like to give back to the great XDA community and try to help out where I can.
I will be posting the Droid Concepts series of Android ROMs here shortly, along with working on rooting the Motorola Droid 3. If you have any questions about me just post below I'd be happy to help out anyone who needs it, or to answer some general questions.
Anybody know if Slimroms is working on a Rom for the S5? And if they do, estimate releasedate?
Thanks!

Don't ask for ETA's
Tomorrow
Tomorrow? Your serious?
I just bought the S5 and can't stand the original rom, had a S3 before and absolutely loved Slimkat. But can't find any info anywhere of progress for the S5..
You didn't look hard enough:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/unified-development
Once Cyanogen team gets the bugs fixed (no camera, etc), expect the rest of the pack to follow with official releases.
Had a look at that thread but why does it say unofficial? Also tried Google it but there is like zero results for "S5 slimrom".
Didn't know Slimrom was based on Cyanogen.
Sorry, quite new to this
Thanks!

Ever thought of asking on slims website instead of a modding forum?
Next time please remember to post in the Q/A Section.
It stands for Questions and Answers and it is LITERALLY just under the General section.
Mod Edit
Asking for ETA's is both rude and disrespectful.
Please refrain from this in future.

Hey AOKP lovers,
I've been thinking a lot about how to improve the current way of getting in touch with the official AOKP developers. And even though they have linked their Forum @ RootzWiki to their website, I feel that the main place for Android devs to be, XDA, is coming short. My proposal ist to additionally add the link to the AOKP section within XDA to their official website as well as the ROMs. Could you please acknowledge this proposal, @MarcLandis? Huge thanks ahead!
Hi,
I was wondering how to get a Section on the XDA Forum made for the Virgin Mobile/Sprint/Boost LG Tribute LS660 device and have our devices listed at the top of XDA Devs where it says "Type to find device".
I love this forum and have for years. Only recently have I gotten really involved. Specifically in the development on the LG LS660.
A lot of development has taken place over the last few weeks in the LG Android community.
From this thread we have been making great developments...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/lg-tribute-development-t2953342/page98
Within this thread @jgkim @Unjustified Dev and I found things in our device that led to rooting our phones and then almost every other unrootable LG phone out on the market.
Here is @Unjustified Dev 's guide he wrote up.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3049772
From that guide @avicohh scripted up a one click method here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-lg-firmwares-kitkat-lollipop-t3056951
And now I have a Q&A + Tips thread going to try and keep our development thread going.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/vm-sprint-lg-tribute-ls660-f60-t3059635
So with all this development how can we get our own section on XDA-Development made? It would be greatly appreciated to get this going stronger with a little more organization. Plus it would just be nice to see our devices listed!
Thanks for your time if you read this, Cheers!
@high247
Can someone point me in the right direction of who I need to talk to, to make this happen? Thanks!
This is the correct thread to post in for such requests:

Closing this up.
Hey guys.
So I've been tearing my hair for the past few days with this.
I was previously running LinageOS 18 from who I think was modpunk or ivan and a while ago was advised that they are not maintained any longer thus I was made aware of Linux4's distro. I have an S10 (Exynos) and installed the new OS without any issues. The problem im having is rooting it.
The rooting process appears to have changed and for the life of me I cannot find any clear guides that are recent or applicable to Linux4's release.
Please, would someone point me in the right direction.
Closing as I found the answer and assistance on separate community forum.
