Lollipop is not yet out for the Droid Turbo XT1254. When it is released you will get an update notification on your device.
You can navigate your web browser to Motorola's website to find information about Droid Turbo Software updates. https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/prod_detail/a_id/102391/p/30,6720,9277
Also wrong section BTW.

Why are you posting in a Moto X forum?

Hello,
I can't find a thread on any information about a Motorola rom lollipop update for OG Moto X. Did I miss it, or is there really no news about it? Google really isn't helping here, it's a mix of Moto X 2014 information and news reports that say it's happening from the beginning of November.
Thanks :good:
I just asked an agent of Moto. He said that the update might be available within 10 days.
However, Moto hasnt officially given any information....
Who knows? So glad I forked out the extra cash for a "developer edition". Kinda thought timely updates would be included lol.
Lollipop source came out about a month and a half ago, the 2nd gen Moto X and G are still the only phone outside of Nexus and GPE that has a wide rollout of Lollipop. Given that the Droid Turbo is getting updated soon, I'd guess the 2013 phones will be getting updated at the end of December or sometime in January, still ahead of most other devices, and before anything else from last year. People need to learn WTF patience is.

Nope.
Developer Edition of the 2013 X doesn't get updates any faster.
See the discussion starting at Post #4 of this thread -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/moto-x-qa/xt1058-to-xt1053-developper-t2967009
If anything, developer editions are LESS likely to receive updates in general (e.g. Samsung)

Which doesn't hold true with the Moto X or Motorola in general since the release of the Moto X.

Guess you didn't read http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/moto-x-qa/xt1058-to-xt1053-developper-t2967009 starting with Post #4 like I suggested to hlaalu. In particular Post #6 Otherwise you would know that statement doesn't apply to the 2013 Moto X Dev Editions.

Do you have stock or custom recovery? If custom you will want to flash your stock recovery before taking a OTA.
Stock bootloader

Moto turbo was releases and comes with 5.0.2
Is any lollipop moto turbo's stock ron there?
IF you have a Moto Turbo, do you have the phone in your hands? Can you upload the lollipop firmware?
We're getting CM12 soon, but until then we would love official 5.0.2...

Your poor english and impossible information leads me to believe that you probably have a Moto Maxx, not a Turbo.

I was hoping you had a Moto Turbo! We could use the stock Lolllipop firmware!
My previous answer stands. Dev is working on CM12 for us.
I have the droid turbo xt1254 and it is bootloader unlocked with sunshine, but it is saying that there is no update available. So can I upgrade to marshmallow being bootloader unlocked? Sorry if I sound stupid.

You can once its released and someone makes a twrp backup of it but as of now we are still waiting. Sounds like it just got released for the Brazil moto maxx so hopefully we are not far behind. Although if you don't care about and official release and want to run a marshmallow ROM there are two over in the moto maxx forum that are both stable you can go check those out.
Okay, complete noob question here. I cannot seem to find the .44 listed anywhere.
Is 4.4.4 the newest firmware?
I noticed my bootloader lists 2014 as the date. I did run a upgrade to get last months security patch, from what it seems.

Settings->about phone->build number. SU4TL-49 is the newest. If you're interested in unlocking your bootloader, you must be on SU4TL-44 or lower.
I am showing SU6-7.7

So, let's back up. First, what version of Android are you on Kitkat 4.4.4 or Lollipop 5.1? Any Verizon version firmware numbers mentioned in this thread only apply to Lollipop.
SU4TL-49 is the newest version of Lollipop 5.1 for the Droid Turbo XT1254.
SU4TL-44 is the previous version of Lollipop 5.1 which allows the Sunshine bootloader exploit.
IF you are on Kitkat, you have to upgrade to Lollipop, but do not take the SU4TL-49 OTA.
There is a SU4TL-44 file you can flash here in this forum.
mine come with SU4TL-49
but well i desactivated all bloatware , still a very fast phone, 75 000 in antutu, 5;30 to 6:30 hours of screen
im surprised with this phone
Okay... I guess this is a droid ultra, even though it says MAXX, and the frame says MAXX. Ignore this thread!

Kind of unrelated but, I have a Droid Turbo XT1254 that I accidentally upgraded to 5.1 SU4TL-49 and I'm super bummed out because I wanted to try out CyanogenMod.
Do you think Sunshine will ever release a patch that will work on that newer build? Or maybe will release a new version for when Android 6.0 rolls out on XT1254 devices?
Also, first post :3

Can't be predicted. First exploit took a year to find. Sunshine team says they are not actively looking for another.
You can always sell your phone, buy an SUTL-44 Droid Turbo on Swappa or buy an XT1250 (Another Quark which is a Droid Turbo clone that runs on Verizon, with easily unlocked bootloader).
Thanks for the advice, from what I've seen the XT1250 is a bit more pricey.

Not the XT1225, but the XT1250. It's on eBay for $189, with free shipping.
If you buy an SUTL-44 Droid Turbo, make sure it is actually 44. And then you have to pay for Sunshine with the Droid Turbo, so factor that in.

Right. If I buy an XT1254 and it comes with Kitkat (not sure which build exactly...) is it possible to get the SUTL-44 OTA and not update all the way to SUTL-49 ??

Oh actually I found this thread (that I think you made) http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-turbo/help/xt1254-vs-xt1250-t3395747
It answers my questions I think I'll be getting another XT1254. Thanks for your help I really appreciate it.
I'll probably be around asking more noob questions in the Marshmallow thread or somewhere else, so it's nice to know there are some super knowledgeable and helpful members on here
