How to transfer data to & from Desire510? - HTC Desire 510

Because neither USB cable nor (Pendrive micro USB) doesn't work.
Of course it's about original stock ROM (rooted with TheDreamer Kernel) as only this we could have for 64bit version so far...

USB OTG(need help)

Im on 4.2.2 with semaphore kernel..i used OTG cable with external power and app called "usb host controller" , but i cannot connect any external devices to my i9000..can any one please explain how do i use OTG cable to connect external devices..
Thanx in advance and sorry for my bad english..
Depends on kernel settings but:
- Connect OTG with phone and harddrive/flashdrive (must be formatted in supported way fat32/ntfs etc)
- Connect powerhub to OTG
Should work now.
I do think that only flashdrives of a certain ammount of data (say 16gb) are supported (dunno for sure since i dont have an I9000 but an I9001)

Used USB host fix now I cant connect via OTG cable

I was trying the new version of stickmount to see if I could use it to mount my ntfs drive and was trying out workarounds when I came across a post recommending the use of usb host fix. I ran the app, restarted as directed and voila! Now nothing shows up when I connect my otg cable. I've tried my fat32 hdd which was working fine and a card reader and nothing!
I'd moved from 4.1.2 to the stock german 4.3 rom on my rooted I9305 and paragon's ntfs app would no longer mount my drive so I decided I'd check to see if there was anything else I could do before wiping 900gb's of data and formatting it to fat32. Now I wish I had!
I've contacted the dev and tried chainfire's usb diagnostic app as well as usb host controller - which stated S3C usb host driver not found.
Please let me know your suggestions as I desperately need to be able to connect via my otg cable - my phone has taken the place of my netbook when i travel so that I can backup my photo's and transfer music and movies from my hdd's to the phone. I'm heading out to South America and REALLY need this function back!

[Q] otg doesn't work on cm 11

after i installed cm 11 (4.4.1) FXP303-cm-11-20140120-UNOFFICIAL-huashan

Any USB-OTG compatible kernel/rom/tweak/mod?

I want to use a USB OTG cable to make nandroid backups on a USB drive.. And, if possible, I want to be able to access files from solid explorer..
I'm currently on stock 5.0.2, stock kernel.. USB mouse works, but USB drive doesn't..
Anyone can confirm a working rom, kernel, mod, tweak or recovery that supports USB-OTG?

It's working on anything CM12.1 based.

I'm using File Explorer app (fx)
I made it work on stock lollipop!
USB drive was formatted with fat32, and it was not recognized by CM12.1.. So I decided to format it using android (in storage settings).. Then it worked! I unplugged otg cable and connected USB drive to my laptop, and filesystem was still fat32 (maybe android handles it with another method?)..
Then I restored my stock 5.0.2 nandroid backup, plugged it and it still worked! I finally plugged it on recovery and still works!
Lollipop is already compatible with USB drives, but they need to be formatted using android
I think your USB drive could have been formatted with some unsupported partition layout mbr/gpt.
My phone has recognized every USB drive I plug in but only shows the first partition when I tried a drive with many partitions (w8.1 installation for example)

Last time I made a bootable drive, it was memtest.. Then I deleted all partitions and created a FAT32 partition using CMD->diskpart
I'm REALLY sure it had 1 partition before formatting with android

Mi pad 4 plus - lr team twrp 3.2.2 - 0711 by wzsx150 doesn't recognise usb, usb OTG, and micro sd card, no rom, stuck in soft brick

Hi Everyone! I had istalled Havoc Os on my Mi pad 4 plus, with lr twrp -3.2.2 -0711 . I wanted to change it to lineage Os so formatted all the data.
It was not recognising usb for tranfer or otg or adb fastboot despite changing to developer settings and enabling usb debugging, probably restrictions from Havoc Os or lr team recovery mode before wiping of the Havoc Os.
Now after wiping off existing rom there is no rom or data. Just lr twrp 3.2.2 -0711 now and fastboot logo.
I am unable to connect via adb fast boot nor is it recognising usb OTG or micro sd card.
How do I now flash a new custom rom? Since it simply doesn't recognise my device on pc or inputs from usb or micro sd. I can check the terminal in twrp. Can I use twrp terminal commands to check edit any files to enable usb debugging or usb recognition or enabling MTP?
I don't think the usb port or hardware of mi pad 4plus has a fault because it can charge and micro sd card was earlier working.
Looking forward to guidance from fellow users and developers. Thanks!

same here on my mipad4plus, but I don't know is it because of Havoc OS (I'd installed before)
Anwyay I can use external sd card to flash custom rom by the recovery
