[Q] how to upgrade n910a on tmobile to lollipop - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have n910a (at&t galaxy note 4) on t-mobile.
I wonder how I can get the update to lollipop in this case?
I tried searching but I haven't found a solution yet.

Download the 910A Lollipop image from Sammobile and flash it via Odin.

Well it doesn't look like sammobile has the 910A lollipop image. So with t-mobile sim in it, 910A software update via AT&T doesn't send in the update, right? So the safest option is to use at&t sim card?
Can I use prepaid sim card? Or can I insert the expired sim card?

Have you tried updating from Kies?

best way is to use mobile odin to flash stock firmwares and keep the ever root option when flashing
So does that mean i shouldn't use the Samsung updates our is that just you're preferred method?

Yes. If you put an at&t simcard into your phone as long as it's the SM-N900A you should be able to update to 4.4.2.

If you install 4.4.2 you won't be able to root or anything else for that matter. If you really want to update to 4.4.2 don't worry. It won't erase anything on your phone.

Flash AT&T firmware to Verizon S3 mini?

I was wondering if it would be possible to flash the AT&T firmware in order to use the phone on Straight Talk? Anyone tried to do this before. Can't seem to find any information on this.

I'm afraid there's not one. You have to use odin.

+1 Odin is really your only option. It takes less than 5 minutes to flash.
