[/IMG]
5. Browse to a folder you created to place the extracted file.

[/IMG]
6. Copy extracted recovery.img file
[/IMG]
[/IMG]
7. Paste recovery.img in C:\**************\tar-Tool_Odin3-v3.07_by_mkh.mourad
[/IMG]
[/IMG]
8. Double click ImgtoTar.MD5.bat
[/IMG]

This is for those who tried to flash Tizen via Odin when you had Null rom installed like me.
If this sounds like you too, then follow this guide and you should be ok.
Very important to remember.
You had to have been Running Null ROM when you attempted to install Tizen through odin.
If not I am not sure how to fix the issue or if this guide will work for you or not.

- Tizen Update (Step 3 MD5)
Original Link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2767465
--------------------------------------------------------
Intructions (FOLLOW THEM!!!)
This is for those who have/had Null ROM and soft bricked their
galaxy gear one V700
It may work for any other kinds of issues but I only tested this
on my device.
I installed Null and tried to update to Tizen using Odin and the
update tar/md5. I ended up with a pain in the #%#^ soft brick.
Here we go!
(!!!)
Step 1 - Open odin from odin folder
Step 2 - Uncheck "Auto Reboot" from odin and select the pit button. Go into step one and select the pit 1 file.
Step 3 - Select the AP button and go into step 1 and open the
step 1 tar file.
Now your Device should be stuck on download mode if you are
having the same issues as I did.
If you are not in download mode then you will not be able to
follow this guide. If your device is just rebooting or something
other than stuck on download mode, then I would look somewhere
else for help. Sorry :/
Step 4 - Make sure you plug your device using the cradle, then
hit start.
Once it finishes, let it completely power on. it will look weird
and you may or may not think its back up and working and try
to stop reading my help guide here. DONT DO IT!!! JUST KEEP READING AND BE PATIENT!!!
Now AGAIN this guide was for those who had Null and tried flashing
Tizen via odin to update and failed like me.
I say this again because if you didnt have Null I am not sure you will be able to get ADB Debugging to work. If you do please post
it so we know you twig.
Step 5 - Open the Oopsiiieess Folder and open the file called
"CommandPrompt.bat"
That should open up command prompt. If not open command prompt
and the type "cd" without quotes, then hit the spacebar then go the where the folder "Null ROM To Tizen..." is and open that up. Then drag and drop the "Oopsiiieess" folder into command prompt and hit enter.
You can test that you did this right by typing:
adb devices
as long as you did this right you should now see your gear serial
and at the end of that it should say recovery.
As long as it does continue. If not Then you don't have access to
adb and you have done all of the following for nothing...Sorry good luck to you my friend!
Ouch mean!
Or check to make sure your device is properly connected.
Now
Step 6 - :
Type
adb reboot download
Step 7 - (as long as it rebooted to download)
hit the reset button in the button of the Odin app.
Then select the pit from part 2, then select AP and select the tar
from part 2.
Step 8 - Hit start on odin
When thats finished go ahead and let it reboot and do the same thing as step 6 again. Not step 7.
Once in download mode again....
Step 9 - Hit reset again in odin
- Hit the AP button, select the file from Step 3.
Hit start and wait for it to finish. This may take a way so go
use the bathroom, let the dogs out, or just sit there and wait...
I did, sit there and wait...My dogs did not like that...
um thats it. You should now have a working Tizen Gear One...
-The END!!!

Hey guys I have an Xperia ZR and it's been having issues since Lolipop even down grading didn't fix the issue ( it keeps rebooting while using it ) so I want to install a custom android that is running Android 5.1.1 like CM 12 or anything that is better.
I already unlocked boot loader
I have the Latest Android update from 5.1.1
My Questions are
1.How do I Get Custom Recovery and Install Custom Android Room + Keernal
2.How do I Root the Phone ?
3.What is the Best Custom Android Running 5.1.1 ( and best Kerenal because I feel like the stock kernal is bad )
4.Is there like a Custom Android that will have also stamina mode ?
Please help so I can start using the phone again
Here Are Steps
Steps For Rooting Xperia ZR C5503 OR C5502
..................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
downgrade your device to KitKat OS...........
Before moving forward, please make sure that you’ve read the pre requisites and ensure that you are set to go ahead.
Download the latest firmware Android 4.4.4 KitKat 10.5.A.0.283 FTF file.
For Xperia ZR C5502 [Generic/Unbranded]
Copy the file and paste in Flashtool>Firmwares folder.
Open Flashtool.exe now.
Hit the small lightening button on the top left corner and select Flashmode.
Select the FTF firmware file that you placed in the Firmware folder.
From the right side, select what do you want to wipe. Data, cache and apps log, all wipes are recommended, perhaps you may select if you don’t want.
Click on OK, and it will start preparing the firmware for flashing. This may take a little while to load.
As soon as the firmware is loaded, it will prompt you to attach the phone by turning it off and keeping the back key press.
For Xperia ZR, Volume Down key will do the job of back key, just turn off your phone, keep the Volume Down key pressed and plug in the data cable.
As soon as the phone is detected in Flashmode, the firmware will start flashing, Do not leave the Volume Down key until the process is complete.
As soon as you see “Flashing ended or Finished Flashing” leave the Volume Down key, plug the cable out and reboot.
That’s All! Congrats! You’ve installed latest Android 4.4.4 kitkat on your Xperia ZR.

Now phone is rooted, USB Debugging must be enabled.
Download latest installer for Xperia ZR from here. (Z-lockeddualrecovery2.8.xx-RELEASE.installer.zip)
Connect phone to PC using OEM date cable and run install.bat.
It will install the custom recovery.
Now work here is done. Lets move on to next step.

Custom recovery was installed in the first step.
The pre-rooted firmware was created and copied to phone in next step.
Now you have to turn off phone.
Turn it on again and press volume up or down to enter either TWRP or CWM recovery.
Now for TWRP recovery, tap Install > scroll all the way to bottom and select the copied pre-rooted firmware.zip file.
After selecting the file, swipe finger from left to right on the bottom to flash.
Once flashed, reboot your device and you will have pre-rooted 10.7.A.0.222 Lollipop firmware.
For CWM, select Install Zip > Choose Zip from SD card > locate pre-rooted firmware.zip file > select yes to flash.
Once flashed, reboot your phone and you will have 10.7.A.0.222 rooted Lollipop firmware.
Now verify root access using an app like Root Checker.
That’s all.:good::good::good::good::good:
thanks for the reply !
there is no root method on lolipop ?

Download any of the custom ROM's available ie CM 12.1, Resurrection Remix etc... Then search and download ADB/fastboot tool.. (it's the fastboot tool you'll be using)
Extract the ADB/fastboot tool to your C drive on your comp.
Open the downloaded ROM zip and extract the boot.img to the ADB/fastboot folder in C (try to find a boot.img that contains TWRP recovery.. The CM recovery is not good)
Place the ROM zip to your ext/int SD-card in your phone
Back up your data using nand-droid/Titanium etc
Search and find Gapps (flashable zip) for LP 5.1.1 and place in ext/int sd-card
Search and find Supersu (flashable zip.. most custom ROM's are kind of half rooted and need the supersu app to be installed) and place in your ext/int Sd-card
Power off your phone
Hold the VOL-UP button and connect your phone to your pc while holding the VOL-UP button.. You'll see first a red LED and then it turns to blue... you're now in fastboot mode
in the folder containing ADB/fastboot and your boot.img, place the cursor on an empty spot, press shift+right-click and in the pop-up, select "open command window here"
In the black screen, type "fastboot flash boot boot.img" and press enter.. (it will take less than 2 seconds to complete)
then type "fastboot reboot" and press enter... your phone will now reboot.
when you see the sony splash screen the LED will change color to green or pink... press VOL-UP on your phone while the LED is green/pink... hold the button and you'll see recovery come up..
In recovery, wipe cache, data, system and dalvik...
go back to main menu and press install.. navigate to where you have the ROM, Gapps and supersu and install all..
once done, reboot your phone.. (the first boot will take some time)
thats it, you're done.. You'll now have a rooted phone with recovery installed.

I forgot to turn on usb debugging like an idiot and i am stuck in a bootloop. what can i do?
How to install Android 9 Pie update on Galaxy S9 [One UI update]
Compatibility: This section is compatible only with model SM-G960F of the Galaxy S9,
Step by step guide:
Step 1. Download the Android Pie firmware from the downloads section above – software version CRLI/CSAB. Make sure you have downloaded the correct firmware file on your PC. Remember, this is only for the Galaxy S9 model no. SM-G960F and Galaxy S9 model no. SM-G965F.
Step 2. Install Samsung USB driver (method 1 on the linked page) first of all. Double-click the .exe file of drivers to begin the installation. (Not required if you have already done this.)
Step 3. Also, download Odin PC software (latest version).
Step 4. Extract the firmware file now. You can use free software like 7-zip for this. Install 7-zip, then right click on firmware file and under 7-zip, select ‘Extract here’. You should get files in .tar.md5 format now. (You may a bunch of files, and you will find text like AP, BL, CP or CSC etc. written at the beginning of those files.) We will be loading this file into Odin, to be installed on the device.
Step 5. Extract the Odin file. You should get the Odin exe file (other files could be hidden, hence not visible).
Step 6. Disconnect your Galaxy S9 from PC if it is connected.
Step 7. Boot your Galaxy S9 into download mode:
Power off your device. Wait for 6-7 seconds after screen goes off.
Press and hold the three buttons Volume down + Bixby + Power together until you see the Warning screen.
Press Volume Up to continue to download mode.
Step 8. Double click on Odin .exe file (from step 5) to open the Odin window as shown below. Be careful with Odin, and do just as said to prevent problems.
Step 9. Connect your device now using the USB cable. Odin should recognize your device. It’s a must. When it recognizes, you will see Added!! message appearing in the Log box in the bottom left, and the first box under ID:COM will also show a no. and turn its background blue.
You cannot proceed until you get the Added!! message, which confirms that Odin has recognized your device.
If you don’t get Added!! message, you need to install/re-install drivers again, and use the original cable that came with the device. Mostly, drivers are the problem (look at step 2 above).
You can try different USB ports on your PC too.
Step 10. Load the firmware files into Odin. Click the AP button on Odin and the select the .tar.md5 file from above. See the screenshot below to find how the Odin window will look like after you have loaded the files.
Click on BL tab, and select the file beginning with BL text.
Click on AP tab, and select the file beginning with AP text.
Click on CP tab, and select the file beginning with CP text.
[Different!] Click on CSC tab, and select the file beginning with HOME_CSC text. If HOME_CSC file isn’t available, then select the file beginning with CSC text.
About CSC file: Using the HOME_CSC file won’t reset your device, and data on the phone shouldn’t be deleted. However, when we select regular CSC file, and it results in CSC on the device being different than that in CSC file, your phone will be formatted automatically. You can even choose to ignore loading the CSC file, that may do alright too. But if it doesn’t work out, repeat the whole process and select CSC file this time around.
Info: When you load files, Odin checks the md5 sum of firmware file, which takes time. So, simply wait until that’s done and the firmware file is loaded. Don’t worry if Odin gets unresponsive for a while, it’s normal. Binary size will also show up in Odin.
Step 11. Click on Options tab, and make sure Re-partition checkbox is NOT selected. Don’t use PIT tab, ever.
Go back to the Log tab now, as it will show the progress of the firmware installation when you hit the start button in the next step.
Step 12. Verify that everything is okay as mentioned above. When satisfied, click the Start button on Odin now to start flashing the firmware on your device.
Wait till installation is finished, after which your device will reboot automatically. You’ll get PASS message as shown below upon successful installation from Odin.
Some errors you may run into, and with respective solution.
If Odin gets stuck at setup connection, then you need to do this all again. Disconnect your device, close Odin, boot device into download mode again, open Odin, and then select the file and flash it again as said above.
If you get FAIL in the top left box, then also you need to flash the file again as stated just above.
Done!
