Hi there I was out for a while and cannot follow up the forum, so please forgiveme if there are something like this in the forum, I searches but found nothing.
Have anyone tested the newest stock roms? have you find any improvement from the February's Servian Rom (XXLQB) to this one?
What you say dudes?
Thank you in advantages!

Thank you again willi9070! Finaly I decided for I9070XXLQE, can't say why, i guess I9070DXAMD1 gave me a little of fear for locales complications, but who knows.
Have to say it works like a charm on my i9070, even more, took my instaled apps and I wasn't forced to do factory reset (I made it anyways).
I like Samsung for this kind of things, it's hard to think migrate to other manufacturer like Motorola. I guess may be HTC, but mean while Samsung keep openmind and close to developers I will remain using his products.
:good:
I use it...nothing to say, just like other JB rom

Section B(rooting) of OP. If you just want the root, only install root.zip
My Device : Rooted GT-I9070

Kernel - CoCore-E-6.2
Recovery - TWRP 2.5
Hit thanks if I helped you!
Any root available for 4.3 that does not involve downgrade of firmware?
Like the 360 root or Vroot that i just "plug and play"
You will he aware when root is available but at the moment nothing along them lines for 4.3 is been done/confirmed working
Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
Think unlock recovery, install custom cwm, flash latest supersu should work though
also possibl when OTA updates starts popping up mybe updating OTA might keep root from .257 if you had it rooted...
but no one tried it yet, i'm waiting for OTA personally.
i tried with kingo... but a message say that want install mtk camera, maybe is the exploit for root.. but i stop the installation
lol... the new firmware has not even been out for a full day and people are already asking for various things... let the devs play with it a little.. geez....
What I know will be released soon a rooted firmware .290 Android 4.3. So stay tuned, when come out just update and done.
I've created rom for recovery with root and recovery, root works, but root file managers can't mount system for write but titanium works fine
Fully Rooted Firmware with Android 4.3 was released today!

No, it's not the root method as well. It's just a 4.3 zip and we flash it into the 4.2 (.257) kernel

I know is not a Root method. Devs do not do miracles but if you want 4.3 rooted this is the way.

That does not give full root, mounting system is still a problem that we are working on.

He's not your bro, dude.
//please excuse the internet reference if you dont get it
Jokes aside, a stock rooted ROM allows you to do just that, only there's less hassle. Even though it's. a rooted ROM, it will behave exactly the same as stock Sense unless you want to install root apps. Please please please don't RUU to stock. Just use the Stock ROM and save yourself some trouble.

Hey guys quick question, i am currently living with my long suffering firmware that is jellybean...the phones needing a good clean out and update!
So i was wondering if there is a UK regional FTF for the latest kit kat?
BUT ALSO! i have seen generic ES (Spain) Regional FTFs for Kit Kat and i will be moving to Spain in September.. so should i just go a head and flash that? i don't know the difference between ES & UK (not that i have managed to find a UK version, maybe someone could point me in the right direction)
Also are these FTFs available for rooting? my phone is currently rooted with CWM and will most likely want to re-root after i have flashed with flashtools..
sorry to ask such nooby questions
Thanks
Chris

The UI is a bit different with lot of bloatware removed.
Battery drain will be there initially but it will disappear after play store automatically updates.
Hitting thanks will be more appreciated than typing it

I had rooted using the old school method because towelroot was not availabe then
Towelroot will work to root and its the easiest way at the moment.
After rooting just download and install SuperSU from play store.
After flashing firmware Bootloader wont be locked again
Kernel and Root are two different things
You will have to flash recovery again though as flashing firmware will remove the recovery
You can get the recovery from here
Dont follow root instructions from the link as you will be rooted after using towelroot

Hey guys,
I have an xperia Z
Model number: c6603
Android version: 4.3
Build number:10.4.1.B.0.109
I let my friend install a custom rom on phone and I do not want it anymore and want my stock firmware back so i can install official updates. I have little to no knowledge on android rooting and flashing roms, i tried searching on the forums but i just couldn't find the answer so i had to make this thread.
I do not have much idea about the rom installed too apart from that its called eXistenZ rom and the OTA updater app says
ROM version 7.0.0
OTA Updater ID: xzexistenzultra
that's pretty much all the info i can think of that i can tell you. If anything else is required let me know, i'll find it and let you know. Please guys, any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Also existenz roms do a lot of stuff while maintaining the Sony aspect. Yet it can be quite unstable. I had my fair share of issues.
So restore your phone, Root it, DO NOT UNLOCK BOOTLOADER (unless you make a backup first), install Xposed framework + desired modules and you'll have most of the tweaks found in curent flagships .
