I don't think so. There's not been an OTA for that. That would be the only way, to sideload an OTA that was specifically meant for that build combination. Your bootloader would need to be unlocked to flash the factory image.

Well, you can install some themed apks from Team BlackOut, @cerj, @Archangel, and a few other themers, but there is little else on these forums to which you can avail without taking that first step.
I don't question your decision, as that is rightly yours or your employer's, yet one cannot change the reality of things...this entire process begins with unlocking the bootloader.
There are bounty threads in the Samsung forums for AT&T, Verizon, and other networks, all to attain that first step. You have a device wherein the ability to unlock is painless, and to attain your objective, it's a must.
Either unlock and flash the build you want, or keep it locked and do not get the build, there it no middle ground.

If you unlocked to upgrade 5.1, you can always re-lock the bootloader once done.
In fact, that's exactly what I did after unlocking and using fastboot to upgrade from 5.1 "D" to "E" - partly to test out the steps and also to get more familiar with the phone, commands, etc., the other aspect being some added security.
This is the process I followed (from info in the Beginner's and OTA threads), which also includes a link to Evolution_Freak's re-locking topic.
I'd recommend reading up on these things for the Nexus 6 - there's good info in these forums and it might expand your view of what is best for you to try.
(I am admittedly thinking of going unlocked, because OTAs are turning out to be carrier-controlled for this phone and unlocking/re-locking seems fraught with human error on my part)

The only way to change ROM without an official OTA is to unlock the boot loader. There is no official ota.

I am thinking about getting the nexus 6 this week. I have looked around this thread and have some questions.
1. Is the bootloader for the Verizon nexus 6 unlockable? (If so, please add a tutorial link)
2. Does Xposed installer work with this device?
Thanks

1. Yes, the same way as every other Nexus device, so just read the stickied guides at the top of this section.
2. Yes and no. It works on 5.0.x but not on 5.1.x, which is what your device came preloaded with. I'm not sure what parts of your firmware can/can't be downgraded if you really want to roll back to 5.0.x to use Xposed, so maybe someone else will chime in with those specifics.

If you downgrade from 5.1, do not revert your bootloader. Downgrading bootloader from 5.1 to 5.0.1, then eventually back to 5.1 could potentially lead to a brick.

It's OK to downgrade system.img and boot.img. Just don't downgrade your bootloader. Unless you never want to go back to 5.1.

Since you're unlocking and getting a custom recovery anyway, all you have to do is flash a 5.0.2 rom and 5.0.2 kernel. Most devs have updated past that, but you can find links to their older builds usually from the same download folders.

I would suggest that a little bit of patience might be in order here. Xposed is very popular, and I can't imagine that it would be more than a couple of weeks before it's functional on 5.1.
I built this ROM as a test for those who have locked bootloaders on the Tab S and can't get root.
In my experience Samsung bootloader locked devices will not allow a custom kernel or recovery to be installed. However it is possible that the bootloader will allow a modified rom to be installed.
The rom is bone stock Lollipop 5.0.2 except it is pre-rooted with SuperSU 2.49. It needs to be installed via ODIN. If ODIN allows it to flash then its highly likely it will boot just fine.
If there are any issues that arise then all that is required is to flash the stock firmware, available here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-T707V/
T707VVRS1BOK1_preroot_system.img.tar
If anyone gives this a shot, please report with details.

If it works for the T707v then I'll do the same for the other Bootloader locked devices. It all depends on whether ODIN will flash it or not.
The reason I have used the T707v is because this device at least has the stock firmware available, so it should be relatively safe to try this.

Will unlocking the bootloader prevent OTA updates?
Honestly using CM14.1 on my OnePlus3 was a bug ridden nightmare recently.. I can't remember the last time I used a stable bug free release of CM on any device.. I'm thinking about just sticking to Oxygen OS but don't want to have to wipe the phone at a later date with a bootloader unlock..
Yeah, if you are going to be flashing roms and stuff you might as well unlock first since it wipes data.

Best case: Yes
Most likely case: You'll have to wait a day or two until someone posts a link to a flashable zip on XDA. Check out this thread
Worst case: You'll have to re-lock, upgrade, then re-unlock

The phone was able to run TWRP with an unlocked bootloader and I believe this was always the case. Once the bootloader got updated and locked, safestrap was the only recovery available for use.

Sweet! Like I said I havn' t tested so no promises on anything. It will most likely boot but I had problems last time how it would keep rebooting randomly every 30 or so seconds. That's why I changed to att firmware because someone told me it was ufirms fault... carrier problems. Hopefully it is fixed

My device is G935T, but I flashed your package, it has been stuck in the boot first interface, After I tried to flash BP and CP, but still can not open, is not in the flash CraZy_ROM before flash into the official AP in flashfire?

I didn't quite understand that last part. So did it not boot at all? Or did it boot but get stuck at setup?
Update soon. New approach so it shouldn't have a bootloop issue
