Nice product - I bought one immediately after getting my XP (paid £9.99) and it sits nicely on beside table with natty dimmed clock.....and, killer function is it charges overnight meaning I never need to think about charging

The price on amozon keeps changing i seen it go as low as £7.15 I got it at £7.99 now its £9.99

That price makes more sense for the functions than what I paid.

This came bundled with my Xperia play and its really useful, My Xperia PLay is always above 50% because when ever I am at home its on the dock which charges the phone, Worth it.

Bought mine at foniacs few days ago for £7.99.. can't wait for it to come!

Uk have been having a massive price cut for Xperia Play for the past few months basically, so I guess the accessories are affected as well.. I got my Xperia Play few weeks ago for £155 =)

USD is weak but exchange rate is still around 1:1.6, so 30USD is around 18-19 pounds to be exact

I learned that lesson after getting stolen a $200 dollar on contract phone after 2-3 months, then 6 months later the phone being only 250 w/o a contract (w880 I'm looking at you).
On topic: I bought a $2 plastic stand, no charging capabilities or fancy stuff, just to make it stand in portrait or landscape mode to watch movies and stuff. Not gonna spend on more SE if they keep limiting us with features.

Wanted Nexus 4, didn't fancy waiting - got it at O2 for £400

I know I paid £100 more than I needed to but the google play site says shipping starts in 7 weeks, really didn't want to wait that long and it's still not bad compared to other phones on the market. Overall I'm a VERY happy Nexus Owner (nexus 7 32GB and Nexus 4 16GB)

I would have gladly paid extra as well, this thing is just brilliant. I'm glad I got it at the Play Store price, though enjoy your phone!

If you get a faultless phone, it is worth it. I paid 500 for a sgs3 and IMO the nexus is better. That said, I am willing to wait.

Did Samsung not make enough Gears?

I placed an order on 10-4 with T-Mobile.com and it's on backorder. I noticed that a lot of places are sold out. Did Samsung not make enough because of unknown demand?

Not sure if they made enough or not but there are some at various stores around where I live. Also T-mobile is supposedly backordered quite heavily due to the massive mistake they made in including the gear in their 30% off accessories coupon. Great promotion for the consumer but no one knows when all of those orders will be fulfilled.

Here in Australia we have the same supply problem, I've had one on back order for the last week at a local electronics shop. Nobody in the country seems to have any, i was hoping to get one for my birthday on the 5th but still waiting.

Yup, they definitely didn't make enough.. I almost did not get my phone upon release cuz all the gear was gone. They said that they can't sell the phone without the gear?? But lucky enough they had one left, the one they were showing to all potential customers lol.

yeah still no gear here, major bummer wanted to see at least a demo unit

My Best Buy still has like 10-15 of them in stock in Various Colors. I got my manager to price match the T-Mobile price last week for 2 of them (one was for resale and one for me). I guess I got lucky on that. But they are to be found. Any if you want to play with one, any best buy with a Samsung store should have a live demo of a Gear there.

Here in Denver I had to drive all the way across town to get my jet black Gear. Most Best Buys are sold out.

The Zeiss VR One is just a fancier Google Cardboard version and has nothing to do with the quality of the Gear VR.

Getting tired of waiting. I've had the money saved for it for a couple of weeks already. Getting tempted to just spend it on something else. There's been 0 word on the device and we're hitting the 2nd week of December.

Sounds like the guy was just pulling things out his butt. There's no indication of the exact date it will be coming out. Remember he's just a regular Samsung employee, anything he'd know would be on the internet by now.

Actually I just ordered one today at my local AT&T store. Now if you go to the AT&T website it says nothing about it. I called my local AT&T store and they had no clue but I provided the SQU# from the included pic I found while googling and it came up in there system. I had to pay in person but they let me purchase it today about 2 and a half hours ago. It did not say out of stock or anything about it being a pre-order. Hopefully this is the real deal. I have my receipt in case it changes. Hope this helps guys!

You should really stop posting this in every thread. Not everyone is in the same boat and will still have to continue paying. Should I run this by tmobilehelp for verification and have them review their system for a true statement?
There will be people taking your words for it and will not go out of their way to check their account.
And for those of you all excited about keeping your "free phone", keep in mind tmobile can possibly blacklist all IMEI associated with your "free" phone and will not be possible to be used on any carrier if it comes down to that.

Yep, wish this whole ordeal is hoax and bs! The sad thing there's NO similar phone has the same specs and "well made", like the N7. :crying:

I plan on keeping mine until there's solid proof from what I understand it's the voltage regulator which is causing all these issues that's from an inside source at samsung. Anyone who knows anything about electronics knows that that can be reversed

It is probably no sense to keep that phone. After while Samsung will probably remotly brick all not returned phones to avoid any possible lawsuits. Plus no future updates.

all phones get hot while charging. I'm not even sure if all the reported exploding note 7 were using oem charger and cable. Cheap ones on eBay tends to create issues.

I want to keep my N7 however one thing has me concerned. Let's say I kept my N7 and miss the exchange /return window samsung and tmobile is offering (if there is one) and a good while later the phone goes nuclear. I'm pretty sure insurance is not going to cover it. I will still have a EIP and owe tmobile a couple hundred dollars... i dont think I want to end up owning for a none existent phone.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
