I finally got time to test it
Performance: 9/10 as all know
Battery: 9/10 yeah it's that good
Camera: 10/10 yes it's improved over miui 5 4.2jb, seriously that camera was really pixel burst i hate that, but in this miui 6 it's really beautiful as redmi note 3g was meant originally for miui 6.
Verdict: overall its great rom, the only bug is that ussd, who cares(do you?? i don't ), so it can be really used on daily basis no lag and really smooth and it's just only developer rom, so think about the performance and stability when global/chinese version will be released(naming miui 6.x.x on the rom), now we all can get more than best out of our device, the true octa-core performance and other amazing hardware, so guys after waiting with patience it's finally our time
WAIT!!!!!! I Also did Nenamark2 benchmark which gave me 61.5 fps which is amazzzinnnggg

no bro it's not ota it's developer rom you have to download the rom rom from miui forum, link has been updated and yes it has been released now, flash it and install gapps using google installer or just wait for global release

just check the link, they updated on the redmi note 3g download section, means if they posted on download section finally, there may not be any major bugs, they promised to release today and they released it.

i will test this as soon as my exams are over and upload screenshots
as my exams are going on i can't test this rom now and provide you the screenshots, anyone with redmi note 3g and wanna test these rom is most welcomed to share screenshots and experience.

its a decent os. less bugs, accept ussd still transparant. what the heck, i never use them anyway.
battery become more stable from my end.
im using gapps installed in previous version. i dont think China rom include gapps.
im using as normal phone. mostly for bbm and whatsapp, and taptalk. seldom for actual calling.
im using data from sim 1. sim 2 can, but only edge. not bad for 2ndary backup.

Antutu result after installing 5.4.3 in performance mode.

I need to restore backup using titanium but it ask for root access.... :crying:

be careful using titanium backup. most of titanium failed to restore. best way is backing up with pc by copying all data.
developer rom is already rooted. after running an app that require root, go to :
security > permissions > root access
then, you should see your app (that need root youve just ran) in there. toggle it to activate root.

dev rom is pre-rooted just enable it by going to security and enable root access :good:

Notable errors
1) You may not have always to start network signal, if your name appears operator, but not the signal, To fix this you should go to: Settings> Mobile networks> Network operators> Select automatically> (Now uncheck)> Next> OK> Cancel. This we must always perform to turn off, turn on, restart the phone and have no signal.

Why we must install a rom with a lot a bug? All the rom ICS are full of bug and an adapted for daily use especially for who use the phone for work. I'm sure that easily all developers solve the problem very fast, but before this I wouldn't risk, your rom is amazing and my hearth would install but my head say not. Tank so and wait for the next release.

is choppy from time to time
usb storage running smoothly
sound quality is very good
I liked the music player and gallery
ram is not bad at work
browser, fast and very nice visuals
Turkish language support is unfortunately not
mobile network does not work
rear camera the same
I hope these problems will soon recover and stable rom

M8 you know that blatecktonik or any developer put a lot of time when develope a rom.Some bugs are the same for all ICS based roms.You aren't forced to install the rom.
And it's Alpha 1.Wait for the vers. that it will make you happy .

The first time i posted on xda-developers and this rom, I was using MIUI Rom from Miui UK team but so lag and unstable, just change to miui rom from MIUI.us team, just restore this rom and uses another kernel which you want, ect : Air kernel, marmite 4.4.x... and enjoy this, no need to optimize your system to 1.2 Ghz by unlocked, just using default cpu speed and good, at screenshot i overclocked to 1.2 Ghz (no need to do it), so smooth with my Nexus S ! Enjoy !
Installation ROM:
1. Unlocked bootloader (if not yet)
2. install CWM already
3. Copy zip file to your SD Card
4. Enter Recovery mode
5. Choose Install .zip file from SD Card
6. Browse to your zip file which copied on step 3
Waiting and after wipe davik cache, wipe all systems !

yep, they are different, as on notification bar, some service..., and MIUI US smoother than MIUI UK

the us version has more tweaks, and it has the miui control app, which allows you to control the tweaks. and it is release a bit after the uk one. uk only translate the system more thoroughly and add gapps and remove their chinese counter parts.

it relates to both, depends on the tweaks in the rom and tweaks/voltage in the kernel.

they use to have it with 4.0.4, last time i used it was in april, so it might have been removed for certain reasons which i don't know. maybe if you ask them on their forums they will give an answer. no bigmem support is a bummer, and also it performs poorly with graphics intensive games like dead trigger.

yea true, because miui gb n ics roms running with same kernels as other aosp/aokp roms never gave same battery usage, but miui jb the stock one from miuiandroid.com does give me the same as other jb roms, hence i'm asking

miui official or uk builds then yes, to avoid problems, if it was a miui.us build then no wipe is needed.

Yes it does have some bugs but afterwards its fast and decent battery life.
Here is how I made MiuiV5 the best i can be.
Important things
1st I installed the Google Play store app.
2nd I used Root Uninstaller to uninstall sim toolkit app because it kept poping up making phone unusable. All I uninstall a couple of other feature I though were annoying. Be careful I recommend diabling things first and see how your phone works then uninstall if you are FULLY CONFIDENT THAT IT WONT MESS UP YOUR Phone.
3rd I uninstalled the gallery and both camera and installed The 4.2 camera and gallery pack.
4th Because Miui doesn't support sdcard in camera app I used FolderMount to link the DCIM on internal to DCIM on my external and You can do it with more folders although only 3 link are supported on free version.
5th and finally If your WiFi misses up install a root explorer or something similar and will not connect then turn off WiFi and go to root/data/misc/dhcp and delete dhcpcd-wilan0 lease. Then your WiFi will start working again. You will have to do this every time you wipe cache and dalvik.
Extra stuff
Installed Musicfx as there is no equalizer
installed Flashplayer with firefoxbeta
installed Setcpu setup profiles to add battery life
Installed pimp my ROM make the ROM faster and improve battery life

Yes, It's being worked on now.
If you folks could tell me what kernels you generally prefer I can mod them for use with this rom so people have more options, The next revision of this will see a bump in stability and speed in general

Did the SIMtoolkit removal. No more issues. Typical couple reboots to stabilize it. Everything else didn't really need. WiFi works fine for me. Thanks for the tip.

1.airplane mode make the phone reset.
2.the speaker volume is lower than normal
3.the weather app can't work\
4.widgets can not be added on a third-party launcher
5.dial-up interface buttons orange offset

The biggest issue here is that this rom uses the 926s base but does not have the same resolution as the 926, so layouts are not rendering the correct way, It's inevitable that I will need a new 'base rom' for this device, I'm working on it

I miss MIUI. I sure hope this project takes off and gets solid enough for a daily driver. Thank you for your work on this!

I heard flashing the above mod makes Volte work. Someone posted abt this in flyme Chinese forum. And you can also flash gapps pico.
It is recommended to flash cm 13 firmware and radon kernel for cm 13 marshmallow to get fingerprint working.
I haven't tested it personally, but i saw someone posting about this in flyme china forum. Read the brush tutorial from the download page using Google translate.

I tried flashing the patch but it didn't worked.

If I try to uninstall user apps, the system reboots itself and don't uninstall the app.

Goodix fingerprint doesnt work for me on this rom

Install Agni CM MM kernel, you will able to uninstall apps. No reboot issue. All apps are working fine. Just Volte is missing. I tried sudeep's patch, HD option appears in settings but Volte isn't working. I use Jio4Gvoice app, now working fine but.. we need Volte.

Very nice work.. I installed it yesterday.. It had too many performance bugs for me. Sometimes the phone freezes 2 seconds.. Flyme system design is very nice. Just wish you could make status bar icons use logo of the actual apps. Also.. Google play games keep crashing when trying to play games.. Sms app stops working when trying to go to settings from sms.. Etc.

Hi.. I mean icons of app.. Like chrome notification you see the chrome logo.. Outlook notification you see the blue icon of outlook. Instead all the logos in status bar are generic. Can't know if I got email or sms.. Icons are the same. By the way.. I was using micro gapps.

Works good! Is there any way to disable on screen navigation bar? Bluetooth keeps saying has stopped working when turning it on. Any idea about this?

Magisk 15.3 works fine for me.

Hey normal call is also not working on my secondary airtel sim..after installing jio4g voice jio call is working but airtel is not..

Try removing sim tray, then report me.

No it's still not working.. I eject sim n again enter..n also change gapps to stock..but still call on second sim not showing..n caller tune is ringing on dialling..but on phone it's neither showing nor ringing.. I think this is problem of call reception..

Found a Video flyme 6 for Samsung s7. Looks really smooth and fast. Want Test it on Out Mi max 2 but one Question: is it multilanguage? Found only flyme 6 with Chinese language.
