Only problem i noticed is most of the apps i want to install, from the market, say that they are not compatible with my device and i have to download their APks from google ;s does anybody else have this?
Everything else is fine the scrolling of the home screens is smooth only the lockscreen lags a bit.

People can see what is in his mind when he refused to share how he fix the graphics glitches issues and ask other member to close the other thread in the rude manner. Trust me, porting part is VERY easy! I HATE RUDE PEOPLE.. I will report to mod if he doesn't close this thread or remove my download link from his post.

I have rebase the port to cm9 beta 4, include the play store patches for anyone want to use dpi other than 160, i have an idea how to fix the su issue. but the graphic glitches is still there and i haven't have time to look into it. i suspect the problems lies in framework-res.apk file. So, anyone can fix it for US all??
Once done, i will upload it. but this time, please, everyone, don't be a jerk and open a new thread and be rude to other people. what the hell can you do with your thanks meter anyway??
In the meantime, pm me if anyone still want to play around with the previous version and i will give you the password. but please remember that the play store haven't patched and dpi is set to 133.

For the su issue, have you tried:
copy liblbesec.so from miui 4 to /system/lib and give permission on updater-script
set_perm(0, 0, 0755, "/system/lib/liblbesec.so");

(from the Guide to Port MIUI v4 thread here. The people in that thread, especially Lens_flare, would be really good to ask to see if they can help fix your problems.)
I suggest perhaps you keep the next version of the ROM to yourself until you see fit to release it and then open a thread yourself, that way you've got control over everything. Great job on the ROM though feed3

I finally got time to test it
Performance: 9/10 as all know
Battery: 9/10 yeah it's that good
Camera: 10/10 yes it's improved over miui 5 4.2jb, seriously that camera was really pixel burst i hate that, but in this miui 6 it's really beautiful as redmi note 3g was meant originally for miui 6.
Verdict: overall its great rom, the only bug is that ussd, who cares(do you?? i don't ), so it can be really used on daily basis no lag and really smooth and it's just only developer rom, so think about the performance and stability when global/chinese version will be released(naming miui 6.x.x on the rom), now we all can get more than best out of our device, the true octa-core performance and other amazing hardware, so guys after waiting with patience it's finally our time
WAIT!!!!!! I Also did Nenamark2 benchmark which gave me 61.5 fps which is amazzzinnnggg

no bro it's not ota it's developer rom you have to download the rom rom from miui forum, link has been updated and yes it has been released now, flash it and install gapps using google installer or just wait for global release

just check the link, they updated on the redmi note 3g download section, means if they posted on download section finally, there may not be any major bugs, they promised to release today and they released it.

i will test this as soon as my exams are over and upload screenshots
as my exams are going on i can't test this rom now and provide you the screenshots, anyone with redmi note 3g and wanna test these rom is most welcomed to share screenshots and experience.

its a decent os. less bugs, accept ussd still transparant. what the heck, i never use them anyway.
battery become more stable from my end.
im using gapps installed in previous version. i dont think China rom include gapps.
im using as normal phone. mostly for bbm and whatsapp, and taptalk. seldom for actual calling.
im using data from sim 1. sim 2 can, but only edge. not bad for 2ndary backup.

I need to restore backup using titanium but it ask for root access.... :crying:

be careful using titanium backup. most of titanium failed to restore. best way is backing up with pc by copying all data.
developer rom is already rooted. after running an app that require root, go to :
security > permissions > root access
then, you should see your app (that need root youve just ran) in there. toggle it to activate root.

dev rom is pre-rooted just enable it by going to security and enable root access :good:

Hi, I build a ROM few days ago for this device based on official stock.
Main features:
- 100% Based on the latest official stock (ZUI_2.3.044ST).
- Removed system applications and Chinese apps do not consider essential.
- Play Store and minimum gapps already integrated.
- English Language and European time zone set from the first screen.
- Root, SuperSU and busybox added.
- Vega Music app preinstalled as music player.
- AdAway tool ready to play.
- Utility to lock screen with a single press (Lock).
- Speaker and headphones volumes increased.
- Other minor tweaks.

Cool, thanks, just installed this rom, pretty neat. Not been able to activate the google assistant, not your ROM fault, but tried multiple forums and still no go.
Edit : Figured out a way to activate the assistant, need to enable the onscreen navigation and then select the home button.
The camera is laggy and is taking time to launch and the onscreen filters in the app doesnt work as well.

Have been using for 2 days now. Most usable ZUI so far IMO. Definitely a daily driver for me.
I experienced no camera problems, unlike @anupsnair .

Edit : The camera started working after clearing the cache. Now for some reason VOLTE / HD calls arent possible, I reverted to the old backup and it seems fine there.
@recoba23, how do u go about changing the volume of the headset and speaker, is it a build.prop edit or any other steps ?

Camera system and VOLTE calls options have not been modified, so they should work like the original firmware.
There are many explains and mods for change volumes, if you want to learn I recommend you take a look.

I tried but doesn't happend, maybe launcher bug. Try with another launcher.

I come from MoKee-CM13-Build for Z2 Pro.
I install this TWRP and the ROM (2.1).
Ower the restart i see the ZUK-Start-Screen and over free Minutes the phone shut of.

Can someone please provide an alternative download link? I am constantly getting 'connection lost' and there is no possibility to resume download, so I have to start from scratch.

Does it worth do a downgrade for 2.5 for this ROM? I don't know why I'm having problems with quick charger in the 2.5. (is it possible that a dirty flash by OTA made this?). I'm only concerned about the camera on this ROM.

I heard flashing the above mod makes Volte work. Someone posted abt this in flyme Chinese forum. And you can also flash gapps pico.
It is recommended to flash cm 13 firmware and radon kernel for cm 13 marshmallow to get fingerprint working.
I haven't tested it personally, but i saw someone posting about this in flyme china forum. Read the brush tutorial from the download page using Google translate.

I heard flashing the above mod makes Volte work. Someone posted abt this in flyme Chinese forum. And you can also flash gapps pico.
It is recommended to flash cm 13 firmware and radon kernel for cm 13 marshmallow to get fingerprint working.
I haven't tested it personally, but i saw someone posting about this in flyme china forum. Read the brush tutorial from the download page using Google translate.

I tried flashing the patch but it didn't worked.

If I try to uninstall user apps, the system reboots itself and don't uninstall the app.

Goodix fingerprint doesnt work for me on this rom

Install Agni CM MM kernel, you will able to uninstall apps. No reboot issue. All apps are working fine. Just Volte is missing. I tried sudeep's patch, HD option appears in settings but Volte isn't working. I use Jio4Gvoice app, now working fine but.. we need Volte.

Uh wow! So surprised to find Alexis rom ported to S9 I waited for this for so long xD Though it never will made his way there. Too bad I gave up from rooting.. Maybe if I decided to root again, I will check it for sure. Thanks for porting your work to our device!

Have using this rom for a couple of hours. And as suggested above, please use TWRP stated in the OP because using another the ROM won't boot.
And everything is working as expected but, I don't see network traffic monitor even I have enabled it on aroma. Other than that it's a amazing experience to see Alexis ported to S9. I'm looking forward for another build. Tha nks dev [emoji120]

Clock & Battery mods & Network mods?

HI, first of all thanks for your ROM, everything is working perfectly, no bugs found. I will like to say that the Recovery that you suggest is a must for installing this ROM in the s9+ atleast. First I tried without your TWRP recovery and after selecting everything when flashing, gave me an error. Also, in my case, the samsung account fix was needed because without it i coulndt make the fingerprint work (i dont know really why), but after installing the fix everything ok and fingerprint working as usual.
When holding the power button, activates bixby and I thought that it was a bug, but no in the settings>Advanced features>Side key you can change what the power button do with a double press (in my case quick launch camera) and with press and hold (in my case power off menu).
Sorry for my bad english and again thanks a lot for your rom

Installed the rom everything looks good and its smooth. Only issue i encountered is that after installation viper4android doesn't show if there is any solution to this it would be helpful
