Thanks for your reply. I can assure you it's not jack problem. I know mobile hardware I opened the mobile and jack is as it should be. I've tried 5 or 6 different cables . I think it has something to do with driver or some software

[Q] (Q) Hardbricked phone and usb doesnt work

It all started when my phone didnt connect to the pc with my own microusb cable anymore. After lots of reinstalling drivers i tried another usb port, now the phone did connect. In a rush i started up odin to flash standard firmware so i could get my warranty for the usb failure. Then during the flash the phone lost connection again and hardbricked. I can only get it to download mode but the phone has the usb problems mentioned before again, i cant connect to odin/kies/pc. all pc's told me that the usb driver could not be installed
try removing all usb drivers with usbdeview, make sure that KIES aint running in the background, boot phone into downloadmode, connect is and as soon as you'll see the yellow com-port sign; hit start (with the proper .tar files at pda/phone/csc).
only one way to find out =/
Thanks for the help but the problem is that the yellow com-port sign wont come because the device isn't recognized.
You have download mode but no USB .
Remove existing KIES and all USB drivers reboot reinstall KIES and try .
Not work try on a different PC .
But unless you have fixed the initial error you are wasting your time .
Initial Error you said >>>It all started when my phone didnt connect to the pc with my own >>>>> microusb cable <<<<<<<<<<<<< anymore

Tried another cable and another computer, still no connection. I think probably an internal failure in the phones motherboard?

You have to keep the back button pressed and then plug the usb cable, and release the button when green light appears...

yes thats exactlly what im doing , yesterday it was working perfectly but now it does not . But the key is that the green light its not appearing.I don't know what is the cause of that.
Sounds like something terrible!
Can't the x8 be flashed while in recovery mode? Once this happened to my tab, it wasn't going to flash mode, luckily it flashed in recovery(cwm) mode also!

OK i tried to look for the drivers but as far as i can see they are not there.Hey does PCC still installs the drivers automatically? because some time ago i remember it was , it was actually saying ''installing drivers'' or something like this , but now i downloaded the newest version and there is only install bar , not any other as it was in previous versions ... maybe thats the cause that i dont have proper drivers?
I have this problem too week ago. I tried to connect and disconnect the usb. Didnt work. When i checked again, usb port on my computer didnt mount my usb cable correctly.
thanks for the thanks......

Use a usb on the backside, with original cable if nothing else works. Launch Odin. Put phone in download and connect cable.
Did you enable usb debugging??

of course it is enabled
Usb debug doesnt matter. Download mode works either way. If you cant boot normal to activate it, you can still flash new fw through Odin.
Open task manager and kill all process with kies and try again.
Sometimes they interfere each other.
i killed 2 process with kies but again nothing happens.
the odin can recognize phone when is turn on but if is in download mode the odin cannot recognize phone.
Or exit any Anti–virus software you may have as well.

How should this matter at all? What are fake usb cables? USB 1.0 to 2.0 has the same standard - a set of to wires that hast to handle 5V+ (and max 1.8A with dedicated chargers, if you use USB 2.0 and especially MicroUSB-B slot on the 2nd side) and ground, and 2 wires for data (+ Data and - Data). Micro-USB has another 5th wire to check, if host or slave connection method is used. Technically all USB cables are interchangable.

Yes, in theory they're all the same but they do come in different qualities and it's a well known fact that changing usb-cable can be the differens for a successful flash.

In that case I had the luck to use only good cables, I never had any problem besides cases, where the cable was broken, so the contacts were not always closed. But this was a problem with normal USB connection, too, so I got rid of it anyway.
U think so but its has diff quality so u need to use original cables use and see what I really mean

HTC one M7 no OS and recovery won't detect OTG and no fastboot usb

ello guys, I'm a proud owner of HTC one m7. Firstly Thank you guys for all the posts which helped me root my mobile and I use VIPER VENOM 9.0. Well long story short the other day I flashed AINUR BANG&OLUFSEN ( which I've found here ) but something caused it to stuck at ANDROID UPGRADING for 2 days so I wanted to re-flash the ROM and I wiped the ROM and it was too late that I've forgotten the point that I have deleted my backup ROM file. Now I'm stuck with no OS, TWRP won't recognize OTG, tried to transfer files via ADB sideload but my PC won't recognize my phone and when I connect it through Fastboot I don't get the FASTBOOT USB :'(. Now I don't know want to do guys I need your help here guy's please.

Try to press volume down + power off buttons to enter fastboot mode.
You have to find a bright light, move your phone closer to the light, the light sensors should face the light, then press those buttons. I dont know why the light but it worked for me. I used a lamp as you can see in the aatachment.

Looks like something is wrong with the usb. If you can't get "FASTBOOT USB" to show in bootloader when your phone is connected, that's because it's not detecting any data connection with the computer. Make sure your usb cable works fine with other device (not only for charging but also for data transfer) or try another usb cable. Try another usb port on your computer and make sure to use usb 2.0 ports. Also make sure you have he latest drivers installed. If it's still not working after all this, maybe the phone usb port is damaged.,,

As I said in PM, you absolutely need a working usb connection. If you already tried everything suggested in our PM chat and what said in the previous post, I don't have any other ideas. Check your computer drivers, phone drivers. Make sure to connect your phone directly to your computer (do not se external usb hub/ports, use the ones that are soldered to your computer MB. Avoid usb 3.0 ports, use 2.0. Try with someone else computer...
