Hello Guys!
I really love flyme os that is developed by Meizu so i decided to port it!
There was an old Flyme 3.8 port around here but the dude who ported it abandoned the port...
The port android version is Kitkat 4.4.4 and the flyme is 4.1.1R
The port is ported from Xperia Z which has the same SoC and Processor I may try port it from N5 too .
STATUS OF THE PORT: Goes to bootanimation and stuck there . can't get access to logcat , device is not authorised (if someone knows how to solve it i will give him a hug)

Tried it at the third test already , didn't work.
basically because it is working (the USB Debugging) but it won't authorise because i should access some sort of a dialog in the actual UI

Hi there,
I am no rom dev but I do believe you have to change the kernel and edit the ramdisk to allow adb and usb debugging :good:
I am uploading the rom with the modified kernel for anyone to test. Sorry but I am unable to test right now
When taking logs from your PC make sure you have the right drivers installed as well as ADB setup, then use the following command to get a logcat: adb logcat -v long > name of problem.txt

You can pick what you want to do, and if you want to erase and wipe.

Update:
you don't have to pick fastboot.exe now every time, it's set in \fastboot\fastboot.exe. If you downlaod the new zips it will be there too.
And guy's, it's very hard to get this program working on linux, first i am not using it, second it's written via autoit, which can only compile to windows.exe.

The title says it all. All of us have experienced many different UI's, such as Sense, Touchwiz, Timescape, Nxt, Miui, Aosp, all of which have gotten old. Here and now, I bring you the different, the one with great looks, Flyme OS. Ofcourse this is a port of Flyme OS on the Meizu MX, a heavily modded / themed version of Android 4.0.4, there are bound to be many bugs.
This is still in very pre-alpha stage..i and xperia pro and arc device maintainer emwno of Flyme-Os are working together to boot flyme os and fix stuff on our Galaxy Mini
armv6 to armv6 porting is very easy compared to 7 to 6...its possible but needs a lot fixes..so please be patient and dont ask for ETA's
so fingers crossed and wish us luck.. :fingers-crossed:
and will upload a build as soon as we get it booting so that u guys can test and report bugs...

try what thewhisp said. copybit is the only thing being repeated (until everything is restarted).
got some free time now..started working.
composition changed to gpu from dyn..now copying zip to sd-card and flash..will put up log

Suggestion: make this application download updated files from some server.

If you want to root your phone, go to recovery mode (turn off --> push volume down button + power button, don't release until recovery mode start), select adb sideload, connect your phone tp your pc, then selec root in AiO.

I have read that u had a water damage to your phone ...have you tried to clean the mother board with isopropyl alcohol, the phone will work again if the components are not damaged by oxide.
