Hello! Does anyone know if the Display assembly is the same for XT1225 and XT1254? I have a XT1225 with a broken LCD/Touch and can't find the parts for it.
Yes all Quarks have the same hardware.
The only difference is Motorola locked down some bands and enabled others in the Snapdragon 805 unified all-in-one modem.
XT1254 Droid Turob (U.S.)/XT1250 Moto Maxx (U.S.) have CDMA/EVDO/GSM/HSPA/LTE.
XT1225 Moto Maxx (Latin America) and Moto Turbo (India) only has GSM/HSPA/LTE.
Yet the radio HARDWARE is identical. That's a software/firmware change -- they all use the same modem in the same Snapdragon 805 chipset.
Previous generations of Snapdragon models had variants for different bands, radio properties. The Snapdragon 805 is all-in-one. ONE Snapdragon for the world, and the manufacturers decide what bands their phone will have.

OK, some Quarks come with 32GB storage, some with 64GB. That's a memory chip. Otherwise, no other hardware difference.
Thanks, dude

But that still means they use the same hardware modem, the X7 LTE modem. Just configured differently, depending on Quark model. That's why Motorola stated under oath to the FCC they have the same hardware.

Hello all -- I wanted to ask anyone with the HTC Developer Edition if the handset works on AT&T's LTE network? I know that it supports the 700 MHz band which ATT uses - but it does not support their 1700 MHz band. I was slightly confused with the "AWS" Term however. HTC One Dev edition does support "AWS" LTE but is AWS a band or some kind of connectivity protocol? AT&T supports the AWS band and so does the phone. All in all my question is if I buy the Dev edition and use it on AT&Ts network will I have good LTE connectivity?
Does this answer your question
I went to an AT&T store this morning and did a side by side comparaison with the AT&T on and the numbers were the same.
I just got my dev edition this morning and I put the SIM from my HTC ONE X.
The only difference is AT&T version says 4gLTE while the dev says LTE.

Hello friends... I currently have a Moto G4, but am thinking about moving up to a G5s. I have searched some in these forums, but if you do not mind, please tell me your experiences. Mainly, I have seen a good price on a XT1805 which I believe is actually a European model. Will it work well in the US? I use Cricket which works off of AT&T towers, I believe. Thank you for your input.

If it works on cricket then there you go. I use straight talk that works off of Verizon. I have the US model XT1806.

If I'm not mistaken, the Moto web site has a carrier compatibility chart. Well, U.S. site so maybe not. The XT1806 is not even fully compatible with AT&T or Cricket.
Checking a couple of other places for the XT1805.
FrequencyCheck shows 100% for 2G thru 3.5G (4G speed) but no LTE at all. AT&T/Cricket.
WillMyPhoneWork, sadly, doesn't even have the G5S Plus.
GSM Arena shows these supported bands. You might want to check which of these the carrier uses.

Phone More shows this...
Amazon user reviews of this model with some U.S. carriers has not been good. I didn't go through a lot looking for comments specific to your carrier.
Yet another shot from FrequencyCheck. From last year.
I'm thinking the experience might not be too good.

Does the moto G9 Play have NFC? I´ve seen many specs from quite reputable sites stating that it does have, but mine doesn´t.
Is it a regional variant difference or maybe an error in the spec sheet?

And AT&T whitelisted the XT2083-1 but not the XT2083-3.
As the title implies, I bought an S20 FE 4G (G780G) for cheap with broken camera modules with the intention to repair it, but I'm not having any success on the matter. Replacement modules (bought for an S20 FE 4G) still gives me camera failed, with no solution to the problem. I note here that the 4G and 5G models use different cameras, and I'm also noting that Android says the phone is a G780G as well.
At closer inspection today however I noticed that the motherboard reads SM-G781B, i.e. S20 FE 5G. Same with the display cable, which also reads G781B.
Would there be any reason for a G780G to run a motherboard that says G781B? Have I unknowingly bought an S20 FE that someone somehow successfully flashed a 4G firmware onto, and could it be so that this is the reason I'm not having a success repairing the cameras? (and instead I will need to get G781B camera modules). I'm trying to understand why the motherboard reads as a different model number, but maybe this is common?
I am aware that the battery is not a Samsung battery, as the Samsung battery was swollen upon receipt.

My best guess is this is a 4g variant with the snapdragon CPU, aka G780G. They probably used the same board as for the G781B/N/O/V variants but did not use the wualcomm X55 5g modem on that board. I'd say, try cameras fro the 5G variant of the phone, these might work without any issues.
