Hey guys,
Tomorrow I'll change my Optimus G for Moto X. ..
I wonder if you have any chronic problem in MotoX, eg optimus G has a camera of 13Mpx low image quality ...
So, is there any reason that someone did regret the Moto X?
Thank you! I hope to soon be with you ...
The X is awesome. The end.

The Optimus G was my previous phone before the MotoX.
The G is a great phone and performance wise is actually close to the MotoX. The MotoX's features make it a better user experience IMO. Motorola has done a great job of optimizing the hardware on the X.
You will will getting a slightly smaller and lighter phone. You also lose some screen real estate because of the on screen buttons on the X.
I had the 8 megapixel AT&T version of the G, so I never got to experience the 13 megapixel camera.
The only thing I miss about the G is the SD Card.
Here I am! With my X in the hands and mind! Tks

Haven't seen any but be careful of eBay sellers like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/S-Line-Si...G-4G-2014-FREE-Screen-Protector-/201122942458
Described as for moto g 4g 2014 it obviously can't be for all of those models and the picture is not of a 2014 model.
Anyone know if they will be sold by Motorola in the future? Or any OEM or Chinese brands out there?
I'm surprised noone asking about them.
I have one on the original Moto G and it's great. I wouldn't want to get a case to add thickness to the new Moto G, a grip shell would be perfect.
Yea I searched a lot for these too. Found some similar ones but they had really ugly brandings on them. Yuck! Would be great if Moto introduced these for the G2..
Unfortunately Motorola has not released them for Moto G 2014.
Got an interesting reply from Motorola on facebook today. I guess it will be sold at one point they just didn't announce it yet. https://m.facebook.com/comment/repl...829182_868861226467824&ft_ent_identifier=8685

Any news about grip shells for moto g 2nd edition?
Unfortunately no! What a shame!
official motorola moto g 2014 grip shell is currently not avilable
looks like 2014 was the ugly stepchild of the MotoG series
Obviously u guys went with the turbo... But is there really a difference (I know specs and all that). I mean every day use...
What made you go with the turbo vs the Moto x. I like the style and in hand feel of the Moto x, plus the ability to customize. I love the battery on the turbo...
Just trying to decide... And need different perspectives.
Thanks guys

I just checked Motomaker and could not design anything but a 16GB for Verizon.
So...64GB on Verizon still stands as a plus for the Turbo.

You can design a 32gb, but the 64gb is only for the pure edition (not Verizon).

You're right, I just saw the 64GB option and Verizon as a carrier choice. It does appear 32GB is still an option, but honestly a few nice play lists, and a couple movies when traveling and poof 32GB just isn't enough (plus I use Nav with offline maps so I've got ~10GB free on my 64GB).

I realized 32GB wouldn't do it for me when I had to do some long 1080p recordings.

Did you ask this same question in the Moto X 2014 forum? That would be the way to get some true varying opinions. Just coming here to ask would be like asking a bunch of Chevy owners whether you should buy a chevy or a ford.
Pros for the Moto X 2014: Thinner, lighter, more accessories, customization options, cheaper if you go with the lower memory option
Pros for the Turbo: Bigger battery, more memory if you go with the 64GB
I like more memory and the bigger battery so I would go with the Turbo.
I tried to design a Moto x and I was able to design a 32gb one
Y3ah I did. I figured if you ask each side you get the favorite things from each device. I think I'll go with the X. Just because performance-wise is not much of a difference... Besides the Moto maker option is cool. I ordered the 32gb cuz I'm not taking videos and stream all my music.
I appreciate the feedback
I have Both, plus i also keept my old HTC One m8.
After i bought the Moto Maxx ( Droid Turbo Variant here) i went back to the X, felt bigger a little misplaced in hand, and that sharp shin under the phone made a little uncorftable , but then my X went out of battery in the middle of the day sometimes , i got pissed off, so i went back to the Maxx (Turbo) , now i'm getting used to it. The battery is important to me , and the camera is better also. Another thing that was making me go back to Maxx was that Lillipop in the X was with some annoying bugs, settings in some apps was losing data and some other stuff, so instead of reverting back to kitkat i just picked up the Maxx in the drawer. One hand typing was easier on the X i miss i little bit of that thin body.

There is literally nothing wrong with that phone pictured.
Ok i am back on Android with a Moto G 2015 model... I used to have a Moto G Orginal and a Moto G 2014 models. I change phones more then people smoke pot in Colorado.
So I bought two of the Moto G's 2015, one for my wife and one for me. We had them customized with #our50th! (she will be a 100 at that time) and her name on the boot screen. My question is does anyone make a power charging case that is similar to the mophie case? I found one for the moto g 2014 model from mugen power. But none for the 2015 model.
Also does anyone know how to change your user name?
I guess its too new. But I'll look somewhere lol
