This mean nothing. By firmware number im talking about the real number, not "original" or "android 4.4.3". There are tons of "original 4.4.3 firmware". 7.19.401.2? 7.17.1540.7?
If im asking its because I know there are some issues with newer custom kernels included in some roms when flashed on a phone with the 7.17.1540.7 firmware.
this command will tell you all the info about your phone inclsuing your firmware version:
Code:
fastboot getvar all

[Q] HTC One (M7) black screen

I have searched this forum, but with no luck.. My problem is that I have a HTC One (M7) that occasionally goes black. Sometimes 5 times a day, sometimes once a week. The phone works, but the backlight is off. I have found out that the best way to "wake" the screen is to plug the phone to a USB port on my pc. If I just restart the phone by holding the powerbutton, it will take several attempts to "wake" the screen. The phone is rooted because I needed Danish language on it.
This is my details:

Thank you very much, but I can see that this is O2_UK version. I got the phone from UK but it has no Danish language, which was the only reason for me to root the phone.. Do you know a link for a European stock multi language version which will work on my phone? And also if you could tell me how to lock my bootloader I will really appreciate it Thank you so much for trying to help here

HTC One stuck somewhere after installation of cyanogenmod

Hello Everyone,
I am new to the whole custom rom thing, so I tried something simple on my HTC One (M7). The Install program that is new from Cyanogenmod. It was all looking fine and it installed (I think) in the end, after a few restarts, I was left with the blue cyanogenmod icon, a blue arrow going around it and white text beneath saying cryanogenmod. This went on for 4 hours. I thought this cant be normal and tried to restart the phone. It all worked, but when it was booting normally again, nothing changed, still the icon with the arrow circling it. So that wasn't all how I wanted it to be. I went in the recovery mode and I got there fine, but I noticed some things that were strange, for example, it told me, that it could not mount /data.
All I really want now is either the Stock Android that came with the HTC or the Cyanogenmod Version working, either way I have no idea on how to continue, I hope you can help me.
Thank you
Jonah

have you tried to flash the rom using a custom recovery instead of using the installer?
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_m7
use the recovery version specified in the above link.

TWRP 2.6.3.3 should work fine to flash arhd 84, I would recommend to try another kitkat rom (not lollipop since the firmware is to old on that phone) and see if the same issue occur and finally reset the phone back to stock using a RUU. It might be an hardware failure.

HTC M One 7 Unable to Install OS,Flash Rom,mount partitions. Need Official RUU!!!

Hey guys,i really Really need your help, need the official RUU for Device. my HTC One M7 is bricked,i previously installed HTC official RUU (developer Edition) but 6 months later, after a power drain it went off and the furthest it can boot is upto the HTC logo white screen.
Can't wipe data or perform a real format coz not a single partition can be mounted in both TWRP and CWM,it's hectic. i've tried all the mount methods in both fastboot and shell but nothing.
Getting that Invalid argument and unable to mount errors.

maybe an hardware problem then. You can try with another ruu if you want but it shouldn't make any difference.
