Touch Screen Sensitivity - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6

So I've been using SwiftKey on all my devices, and it has a swipe-to-the-left-to-delete option, and a swipe down to hide option. On all my past devices that works just fine. On the S6 Edge I just bought however, I have to swipe my finger as fast as humanly possible, or else it just thinks I'm leisurely dragging my finger around and doesn't log a swipe motion. Anyone else notice anything similar?

In-game buttons/Touch screen not working properly?

I am not sure if it was the 4.2.2 update but when I play games now my touches don't register UNLESS I long tap it and/or slide my finger slightly. If I just tap the screen it won't recognize anything. This only happens in games..... all other apps are fine.
Also, when I double tap the screen in my games it allows me to zoom in? Since when?
Anyone have this problem?
EDIT: I've found my problem.... I had magnification gestures turned on under settings > accessibility.

lock screen swipe/ deletecameraoption

I set lockscreen to unlock with just plain 'ole swiping. however, if I swipe right to left it pulls up the camera. I know you can unlock it, swiping in that direction, if you don't start with your finger on the far right side of the screen. but me and my fat thumbs have been programmed to do so since I've had a smart phone. so my question: how to I delete this feature? I'm rooted

Any trick to get pen window to work easily?

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I have a heck of a time swiping from the top corner to reduce an app into pen window. Try it in chrome and see what you get.
I either end up pulling the notification shade or swiping tabs. After 10 tries I might get the window. what am missing?
If your talking about pop up window I was having the same problem, here's what you do.. Swipe the corner of either the right or left side down but go ABOVE the screen a little start from the bezel where there's no screen and you should get it every time.. Hope this helps
Yeah that's it. Sorry, they used to call it pen window on note 3.
I'm still struggling with it.
Lol im opposite of you. They get swype too easily!....though I wonder if screen sensitivity increase have anything to do with it
It also doesn't work on everything.. No homescreen, you have to be on the browser or other applications for it to work..
Pen window was a different thing all. Together where you would draw a little box with the pen and a few applications would come up, this you don't need to use the pen for it to work, so if you're using the pen it might make it harder try what I said using your finger and see if it helps..
I'm not using the pen at all. I just tried it a bunch of times and I get better results (not 100% but much better) if I swipe quicker and from the corner of the PHONE, not the corner of the screen. Just about what Melissa recommended. But for me speed seems to factor in too.
Good I'm glad it's working better for ya! ?
Try near very corner, where it says PM/AM ...starting from the status bar...pull down past the bar, then i towards the center. You'll notice that if you go straight down the shade won't move.
That's usually where I reach to pull the shade down and kept wondering why it wouldn't come down the first time I try it.
are there any videos or picture tutorials of this? I'm really having problems. Granted this is my first Note device, but I haven't ever gotten it to work even one time.

It really is as easy as it sounds. Put your index finger over the front facing camera in the upper right corner of the phone then slide your finger diagonally across the screen towards the bottom left. Works for me every time as long as the app support it. Not all apps work so make sure you are using a supported multi-window app.

Yeah, there are 'dead' zones on both ends of the status bar. After you pull down from the dead zone, just swipe towards the center. You can actually pull down about 1/2 inch and it will still work.
I'm very embarrassed to report back, but I had never turned on "Multi-Window." Perhaps my noobiness will help someone else!
Thanks to all those who offered help!

knuckle gestures

Any one else struggling with the Knuckle gestures? I find it very challenging to get it right, I wonder if there is a trick or something!
Give it a good whack!
I'm using it really often for screenshots - they're working great for me.
But one thing I want to have with this gestures is to enable the navbar.
The reason for that is, I wear gloves at work and can't go back to home with them, because the finger print sensor doesn't recognize my finger with glove.
I don't know still not able to get it work consistently specially splitting the screen in apps that has side sliding pages!!

Swipe gestures interact with keyboard?

Hey everybody,
I've run into a recent annoyance since upgrading to Android 10 on my Samsung S10. I'm using gboard (same as prior to the update) with the google launcher. My issue arrives with swipe gestures, when I swipe to go home or recent apps the swipe interacts with the keyboard. Recents inputs "my" before sending me to recents and home is typically a "space" before going back to my homescreen. It's a minor nuisance that can be avoided by swiping the back key minimizing the keyboard before interacting with either of the other gestures.
I'm curious if anybody else has this issue because it definitely wasn't a problem in the previous version of android. I don't know if it comes down to increased sensitivity or swipe gestures just not playing well with keyboards in general now?
Any help is much appreciated!
I 've also made a topic about this:

The strange thing is that only a few users here have mentioned it, although all my friends who also have the S10, have the same problem after the update to android 10.
I can reproduce the same issue with a space being inserted on my S10+. Having said that, as an early adopter of gestures going back to BlackBerry 10 days, the more natural movement for your finger (assuming you are right handed) is not a straight swipe up to go home, rather a sweep from bottom to the right. It's hard to describe the exact movement but in effect you're "tossing away the currently running app". It's the same gesture you would in principle use to open the app carousel, but the difference is that when you're using a carousel, you would do the sweep, then pause briefly, where as just a sweep will take you to home. Doing an arc sweep from one end to the other will actually allow you to move from app to app without ever using the carousel.
So yes, I short I can reproduce the same behaviour you are seeing with the spacebar and inserting a space, but only if I go back home by swiping straight up. Otherwise, I don't see the issue. Since I never swipe straight up, I don't see this issue during my day to day.
Still having this issue
Using a Note 10+ with Android 10 and an up-to-date Gboard.
So few people are mentioning this issue. It's nuts! I just tried the arch swiping and still have keyboard interaction, worse than with just swiping up. I have disabled the black bar at the bottom, like everyone else. I'm starting to think that it was put there to prevent keyboard interaction, which is BS. I got rid of my notification bar to prevent the burn in there. Putting a new box there will just highlight that area with burn in again.

Giving this thread a bump. This is a very annoying issue. Swiping my multitask (left) gesture and my keyboard types "zzz" (must have saved that) prior to initiating the gesture action. Swiping for home presses the spacebar before the gesture action. Only swiping the back gesture works without causing any keyboard input. This was definitely not a problem pre- Android10/OneUI2 update.
I'm having the same issue and it's driving me crazy! using Gboard here. In every message thread, when I'm done responding, swiping up to go home will insert a space, or some random chacacters because of this bug.
I don't seem to have the same problem on my Galaxy Tab S4.
2 years late and same issue persists, I just got an s22 ultra and experience the same, if was not fixed in 2yrs I guess will never be fixed
Yep, same issue here with my S22U and it drives me crazy. I'm ready to sell this thing. I would never switch, but now I know why people switch to iPhones.
