I am spoiled by all the watch faces available for the old gear watch. Mine died (no idea why but it won't charge or turn on). Anyway I am used to watch styler and gearfaces website. Is there anything like that for the gear 2 neo? Thanks!

I use both Watch Styler and widgets from the page on my Gear 2 Neo...no problem other than slightly higher battery drain than the default faces. You'll feel right at home with Neo.

I bought the Galaxy Gear (Black) for my Galaxy Note III LTE (Black) a few days ago.
I wanted to received them together on the 25th Sept but could only get the phone on that day. Anyway, all is not lost as I finally got the Galaxy Gear and am ready to use the Note III and Gear combo.

The Galaxy Gear (Black) is not all that fancy looking like the Orange or Green but it is simple and goes well with my look during my working days. I have other more valuable watches for my weekend or holiday needs.
I intend to use my Gear mainly for business.
How to Charge the Watch?
Well there is this case which we have to wrap around the phone and there is a micro usb port at the back of the case. The watch charges very quickly. When I switched on the phone it had about 65% battery and it charged to 100% within 20 mins.
Setting up a connection with Galaxy Note III.
We have to switch on the watch first. Then make sure Note III NFC is on and then place the back of the Gear Charging Case under the Note III for connection.
Once detected the Gear Manager app will be asked to be installed. Then it will be installed and connection will be complete.

Maybe resizing is needed because the screen dimensions are different?

I have my gear 2 neo working with my phone for the most part. I was just wondering if there is anyway to install tizen apps so my watch can use them. I've come across quite a few good ones but since I don't have access to the samsung store, no joy.
Anyone know if this is possible yet and how?
I bought a Gear 2 Neo today to use with Endomondo. I've got the phone paired ok with my S4 Mini, installed the gear app and I've downloaded a couple of new clock faces etc. so all seems to be working fine there. But, I can't find the Endomondo companion app on the Gear store. I've tried a few different searches but so far nothing...
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Never mind, I've just had the following reply from Endomondo:

Great; Endomondo hyping their app on Gear 2 and confirm the S4 Mini is compatible, but it looks like I'll have to wait. Annoying seeing that the fact it 'works' with Endomondo (an app I've used for years) was the reason I bought the smartwatch in the first place...

Meanwhile, is there a way to see Gear VR apps (a list of apps) ?
Is there an access to Gear VR without actually having a Gear VR compatible phone ?
I actually wonder if there is a nice Marvel game or feature for Gear VR, along with other available paid/free apps.
Btw, there is no way to make this thing work with my current phone (S5) , right ?

You cant, you must have the headset. The phone detects it and then starts installing the oculus store and services.
No nice marvel game, only a lame marvel experience. If your looking for a nice game at this point in vr then you will be very disappointed. It's my opinion the herobound is the best game available at this time, but you may like something else. It's also my opinion that you should of waited for the note 5 and gear vr. The S6 is already it dated and the gear vr for it is not the final version.

But I really don't need a Note. I had used Note 1 and Note 2. Now I prefer a normal sized phone.
I use Note 8 as a tablet.
So S6 and Gear VR for S6 seems to be the best solution for me. I already have the Gear VR.

There is a way to access the Oculus Store if you have an S6 but not the VR, but I don't think there is a way to access it without at least having the correct phone.

There is no way to make it work with the S5.
Even if you could, the lower screen resolution of the S5 would make everything look like garbage.
