[Q] Couple of seconds of delay when someone calls me - Galaxy S III Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

i use maclaw's CM 11 (january 30 release). i have this ****ing horrible problem:
whenever i receive a call, the calling side cannot hear me say "hello" for at least 1 second (usually up to 2 or 3 seconds) when the (call) connection is established. so they either assume that the connection is dead and hang up; or i need to keep saying "hello hello" like a ****ing parrot till they hear me. really horrible problem.
please suggest me some sort of solution.

Try the new build from 11/3. Doesn't make sense reporting bugs from an old build when you have a more recent one.
P.S. anyway I think you'll notice the same delay, for me is a few milliseconds that's an old annoying small bug.

Loud beep during call

1 person that I talk to keeps telling me that they hear an occasional loud beep while talking to me and they only hear this with me and no one else. We are both on AT&T and I have since changed roms and the problem is still there. I am told this but I do not hear any beep. They say it is random and occurs probably around twice in a 30 minute phone call.
Any ideas?
Maybe its that person if only one is complaining?
I remember some phones had a minute reminder on their phones (as did I once upon a time)
If no one else is complaining then it's got to be that other person
Its like if you get a text message on your HTC, then the sound that plays while you're talking is almost like it is coming from the other person but its not
ive faced this problem as well.. i thought it was the other person... but someone else complained about it to...
so i am assuming that it was my phone.. i since then soft reset... and noone has complained ... so im really unsure what the problem is... i have the original rom still on my phone with some upgrades...
ill just wait around for someone to post a diagnosis... or solution...
FBI
Or it's the conference tone, some ctys don't allow you to conference 3 parties (or more) without the other party being notified by the network. Sure you're not on some 'wanted' list, and FBI is listening in on your calls?

Strange Problem - Need Help

Hi
I have this strange problem where if i receive a call from someone I can hear them but they cannot hear anything im saying (this is NOT using speaker phone as i know there are issues relating to that). This is a normal call with the phone up to may face.
The really weird part is if i call someone they can hear me but i cannot hear them. Its as if depending on who start the call there is only 1 way communication.
It started doing it about a week ago where it was every second call or so with the problem now its every single call that is affected.
I have tried 3 different roms and 2 different radios without and luck.
Any ideas or am i going to have to flash it back to stock and send it in for repair?
This is so annoying....

[Q] Intermittent issues with 2.2 on my DX

I've been searching for nearly an hour and have yet to see any of the problems I've been having. I may have overlooked them, and I'm not about to go digging within the 200+ replies on some threads, so I'll ask here.
When I'm in a voice call the phone makes the "beep beep" noise like I have a call waiting. It's not and it isn't a text/email or anything. It's an annoying beep that won't stop for anything. It happens about every 10-15 seconds throughout the entire call.
Second, my headphones jack isn't working. It was prior to 2.2, but it isn't now.
Does anyone have any info on these issues?
Not here, sorry.
And to be honest, I haven't even heard of any of the issues that you're experiencing.

try one of two things, removing the battery while its happening or do a factory reset, one of those should fix your problem.

Gets warm during calls...

Anyone else have problems with the phone getting warm/hot up around the earpiece when making a call over 6-7 minutes? I'm still trying things out but it looks like it happens when I make VoIP calls over the vonage app? After about 6 minutes the earpiece section of the phone starts getting much warmer. I will need to try and make a call over my plan minutes and see if it does the same but for now I have only noticed it while testing out VoIP.
A couple people have mentioned something similar here
So, how many of you have Nexus 4's that get hot with normal use?
Please continue discussion there.

[Q] Speakerphone and mic problem

Dear friends,
First of all sorry for my bad english- I didn't have a practic for a long time.
Probably you can help me in my trouble with N1. I got a next problem:
Some time ago the microphone and speaker phone of my N1 became disconnected unexpectedly. After
disconnecting they not working constantly in the phone mode and in other applications both. The
headphones also not working. But! If then I'm push the "speakerphone" button during the call - I get
the possibility of talking (but only in speakerphone mode). If I want to call not only in speakerphone
mode- I must to switch off the phone at least for 10 minutes. After 10 min I can switch on the phone
and then it working perfectly till the next trouble.
I found the reason- it always happens after the bottom of my N1 is hot (battery sensor show me in this
moment 34 degrees or more. And this never happened when the temperature less than 34 degrees).
Our phones repairing workshops can't localize the problem, so i want to find the problem by myself and
request the specific kind of repair like "make solder legs of audio controller, etc". I don't see any
way.
The questions:
1. Can anybody share with me schematic diagram of N1?
2. How to check the log of N1 errors (is it radio unit or no?) via the ADB (already installed); I need a step-by-step instruction.
3. Any other ideas
Thanks in advance!
Hi DPH159,
