Does sony released lollipop update via ota or it just via pc companion?
In my update center it mentions computer required
If it minz computer req meaning u can only update it via pc, but if u see an arrow down beside the system update then it minz u can update it w/o pc..

I knew that! I mean it just updateable via pc? Does any one have updated to lollipop via ota?
I think due to the size of it, it won't get pushed out as an OTA.

Hi, as you can see on the screenshot, I'm on KL8
But KIES don't want to update my Note, it says my device is not compatible with update via KIES (KIES itself is up to date with new instal )
And on the phone, when i'm searching for update, it says no update available.
I WANT ISC STOCK...
What should I do ? Reflash stock ROM and KERNEL ? Which version ? I'm a bit lost...

Can anyone help me out. I installed android 4.0.3 ( flashed) on to my note.N7000ddlp4 and the bulit number is iml74k.ddlpa
It says that it has an update and downloads a update for 110mb. But when it istalls it cancels it self and ask me to try it with the PC using Kies!
Can anyone advise pls?

OTA updates never seem to get the phone updated successfully.... Don't rely OTA updates that much. It mostly will not work (esp if its 100MB+) on large updates.
What your going to do is, install Samsung Kies on your PC. Plug your phone after and in no time at all, your phone will be updated to the latest firmware (of your region).
Well today I finally got lollipop update for my Xperia Zr and as was expected I update my phone. Just bragging What I want to ask is when I tried to update through PC comapanion I got that my phone is fully updated and it was showing KitKat as latest update. So what's wrong with my PC comapanion update tool??

LP update is currently available only through OTA update using 3G data connection or WiFi.
Its not yet released on servers to download using PC companion software.
update through OTA or wait till upload on PC comp

Hello I need to send my phone for repairs, and so I've been trying to install the stock firmware. I've managed to downgrade all the way to b126, and I've received an OTA to b133SP01 but when i try to update it through the OTA it says there are no updates available. I have previously changed the stock Rom and recovery of this phone so I don't know if that's the issue.
Also can anyone tell me if under Settings -> about phone -> certification I can change the country it displays, on mine it says Serbia with a triangle on top, i think that has changed with a local update i did (downloaded from this forum), so does anyone know how to change this?

Yes. I have reinstalled both the stock Rom and recovery though

Well if you can't download it via Ota then download it from the Internet, then create a folder on your SD card called "dload". Copy the update there, turn off your phone and perform a forced upgrade by holding all three buttons down.

Yes, but i need it to be able to update OTA, i managed to go from b127 to b133 OTA but it stopped there. I will try to update to b609 localy and see if i can OTA from there.
If you need to send your phone for repairs, than any official version is good B126 B133 B609 or B852.
My phone says Serbia too under certificates, so I don't think that this is something to worry about.
Just make sure that your bootloader is locked (green) and hope that they'll accept it for repairs.

I think you need B317 to update to this version since it is a small update. Paste into dload folder and manual update it, or force update via recovery.

Wrong. This is out for days and is not manually flashable
so we cant flash it over 317?
how to get it then? can you post full changelog?
No you have to wait untill you get it ota.
If youre rooted there is a way.
