[Q] Trying to carrier unlock my sprint htc one - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ok so I am new to all of this but I am not happy with Sprint and was overcharged and now I owe Sprint way too much but I need service but cannot afford a new phone. My question is that is there a way to carrier unlock the HTC one without a computer so I can take it to another carrier a.k.a. cricket or straighttalk? I am running Android lollipop 5.0 currently and I have looked arround everywhere and cannot find anything to help me. Please help point me in the right direction.

[Q] HOW-TO? moving from Canada to Europe

Hi
I'm new to this forum and got to admit I am a bit lost in the gigantic amount of relevent information on this forum.
I own a captivate locked to Rogers. Moving to Europe for 6 to 12 months soon and I guess my best option is to bring my phone as I'm stuck with a contract anyway.
What do I have to do ? I guess first step would be to unlock my phone. Does rooting and unlocking mean the same thing ?
When my phone will be ready and I move to Europe, are there specifical steps to follow ?
Hi
You need to call Rogers and get them to walk you through the unlock process. Rooting is not the same thing as network unlocking. The captivate's exclusivity lock was just lifted in the US(with AT&T) so hopefully you should be in the green for Rogers. Just call their customer care/international line if they have one and ask around, someone will help you.
I'm travelling to Europe in August so I'm trying to find more info about this as well, if I find anything else out I'll let you know
Heads up the captivate has a tri-band 3g radio so you may not get complete g3 service in Europe

[Q] GSM or AT&T cyanogen

Ok so I did some searching and couldn't find anything on this so I desided to make a post on it. I purchased the Dev HTC One off the dev forums on HTC's website. I was curious should I flash the ATT version of cyanogen or the GSM version. I don't really know how this would matter unless it had something to do with a minor hardware difference but I don't know at all. I have an AT&T SIM card in it right now for service so I am leaning towards the ATT one but ATT is GSM and because I didn't actually purchase this from ATT and did purchase it from HTC Dev that makes me thing well maybe I should get the GSM because that is more universal. Or hell maybe it doesn't matter a bit..
Could someone please tell me what one I should be using.
Thank you!

Flash back to sprint from kricket

Hey folks I have the opportunity to buy a gflex for cheap but it is currently on kricket. It was originally a sprint phone and I am a sprint customer. Is it possible (if/how) to flash the phone back to Sprint? Thanks for any help in advance.

If it was originally a Sprint phone that someone took to a Cricket store to enable use on their network, just factory reset the device. It will remove the changes Cricket made.
If you do some digging on the web, you can find customer support pages from Cricket telling their customers to never factory reset their devices, because doing so will cause the phone to no longer run on their network.

[Q] Converting Verizon HTC One M7 to T-Mobile (Need any help I can get)

OK so I have a HTC One M7 on Verizon, I recently Rooted, Unlocked the BootLoader, and S-Off'd the device. Now I'm wanting to transfer this phone to T-Mobile. I currently am using a MC11 Rom and feel pretty good with flashing and such. I have seen a couple different post some saying that a Verizon M7 will work on T-Mobile, others saying that the radio is different and others saying that you won't get 4G LTE. Can anyone help me out and give me some solid answers? I really don't wanna brick my phone and I definitely want 4G LTE. I'm sort of confused on what RUU to get and also is there a way to see the specs such as radio info and such to make sure everything is compatible? If anybody could help me out i'd really appreciate it.
Thread closed as a duplicate thread.

Sprint HTC One is a CDMA phone you can't convert it to t-mobile. I think you can unlock your phone for domestic gsm, look to this thread.
