Have you tried to reflash recovery and then use it to install DragonROM?

Sorry. Unlock your boot loader again, root, install TWRP, then re-flash DragonROM.

Sprint Htc One - Phone is stuck in bootloader. It is not rooted. (had the issue trying to root it) There is no OS installed as i think i erased the internal storage.
Tampered
Unlocked.
S-ON
HBOOt - 1.56
OS 4.06.651.4
I have philz_touch_5.08.5-m7spr as my recovery. When i go to "choose zip from sdcard, it says E: Cant't mount /sdcard/. So i tried sideloading insertcoin-m7-7.1-4 rom. I was successful in sideloading it, but when installing, i get the error message set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed. I have also tried a different rom (OrDroid 40.0.1) but get the same message halfway through. I have tried openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.0-m7wls but that had the same issue except, it wouldn't even go to sideload. it just says failed.
I have also tried the RUU software, but my versions dont match and it seems you cant go from a higher version to a lower one?
Anything i can do to solve the issue?
Look HERE ...use the 4.06.651.4 s-on firmware.
When you get to the part where it says to adb push a rom to your phone use a 4.4.2 Sprint rom
Did you read this? It might be outdated so im not sure if it will still work. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2258809
I think you have 2 options:
1. Try to S-Off so you can run any RUU (not sure if there is a s-off for hboot 1.56 or if you can even s-off without internal data).
2. Wait for the new RUU to come out (not sure when its coming out).

Ok i followed all the steps and here is what happened. When flashing the 4.06 firmware in fastboot mode, my htc one's screen displayed the HTC logo and a progress bar underneath it. It stopped at what looked like 90%. and doesent complete. But the terminal on my computer said it was complete. so i just rebooted it into fast boot mode and continued on the instructions. I unlocked the bootloader again and flashed twrp 2.6.3 m7wls I formatted the data like it said to do. And after wards i adb pushed cm-11-20140208-NIGHTLY-m7spr. When i got to the sd card to install it, it says failed.

I would suggest pushing a Sprint 4.4.2 sense rom just to get you up and running

Thanks for having our backs BD! I am not having issues but learn much by looking at these threads.
I had just installed Viper Rom v7.0.1 and noticed my calls were not going through (HBOOT 1.44). I read that I should try installing a custom kernel. I decided on ElementalX. Unfortunately, I installed the NON Sprint version.
This created a boot loop.
I can get to TWRP recovery, wipe cache/dalvik, reinstall ViperRom (also tried Bad Boyz and Stock with Goodies which were already on SD card), but with the same result. I cannot get the computer to recognize the device long enough to get the correct kernel pushed on the device.
TWRP is updated. And I tried sideloading to no avail. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Also, the loop goes all the way through the Android App optimization, goes to the lock screen, but once I unlock, it shows the HTC boot screen, THEN it reboots...

Thanks for the reply! I've never had to RUU back to stock.... A quick google search says (since I'm s-on, HTC unlocked bootloader) my current firmware has to be lower than the RUU? Is this true, and could you elaborate? How do I find this inf?

a look at your bootloader would tell what version your OS is
or a fastboot getvar all (minus serial no. and IMEI) would help
the latest RUU > Sprint 5.xx RUU

So I handed my Silver M7 over to my wife and I picked up a newer Black M7 from someone at work. He has unfortunately patched up to 1.57, I can say that sunshine does in fact get you to S-Off , but past that I am confused about the radio that is loaded on this phone. 4T.27.3218.14 from what I understand is for Europe isn't it? I have noticed that this phone doesn't get reception as well as my old one. Shouldn't I be on 4A.21.3263.03 or 4A.17.3250.20? Please advise.
Also I cannot get anything past 2.6.3.3 from TWRP to load it just sits at "Entering Recovery..."

Since, you are on T-Mobile why not run the RUU 6.10.531.9 which will put you back at stock but with the latest radio. Afterwards, you can flash your custom recovery. The radio you have now is the TMO 5.XX.
Why would I run an RUU, can't I just change the radio?

Go to this site and download the latest radio and flash in recovery.
You stated you were having issues with TWRP, I thought it would be simpler to just run a RUU and reset everything. You could find the stock recovery and boot into it. While in stock recovery perform a Factory Reset and it will write to the recovery partition and clean it up. Then flash your custom recovery to see if it fixes the issue.

Excellent advice, considering your s-off the fix described will help you out a lot
I'm having the same issue that so many are having. I'm trying to S-Off to convert my htc one m7 to a Google edition.
I have installed the most recent versions of ViperOne and ElementX as my kernel. Each time I run Rumrunner and Firewater I get the errors saying to pray and restart or that my kernel isn't supported.
Right now I'm downloading Bulletproof for and Android Revolution HD to replace my rom and kernel and then will be trying rumrunner again. Should this work probably?
Thanks and sorry, I'm kind of a newb in all of this haha. I've read a ton of other forum posts and tried everything they've had to say, but haven't figured it out.
help :/ I installed ARHD, then wiped Davlick and Cache and then installed Bulletproof and went to reboot phone and now been stuck on the htc one splash screen for ten minutes.... held down power button and capacitive buttons on bottom of the screen flashed..... am I screwed?
EDIT: I ended up getting into recovery and installing the backup I made. Does anyone know where I went wrong though and how I can achieve s-off? Thanks!

You must use twrp 2.6.3.3 to flash arhd!
So I ended up not being able to install the rom. I got the new recovery in, but if you view my other topic, the recovery crashes I believe or the phone does before I can wipe the cache or reboot.

If you have philz touch recovery installed you must have a 64 bit phone... Try downloading this and then adding to the root of your sd card (the removable one) and then try to restore it this is the link https://www.dropbox.com/s/66s3jkdzxrgcrvl/backup.zip?dl=0

It sounds like your device is 64 bit and you've been flashing 32bit ROMs. If you can get a ruu for your device, you'll need to relock your bootloader before you run it or it'll fail every time
Just type "fastboot oem lock" in adb without quotes of course, while in fastboot to relock it. Then the ruu should flash fine and you'll be back to pure unrooted stock

You don't need to do an md5sum check so uncheck the md5sum and try installing it again.
Fix it
Thanks for every single help and message...
i tried several time and using different kind of options from recovery mode the file backup.zip but i failed.
I did it mounting this img Stock_rom_20150519_082814 from recovery.
now mobile is working well and without any problem.
thank to everybody...
