I live in dominican republic and I am on 4.4.2 rooted custom which has zero AT&T stuff. I don't use ATT and I have no intention of using the phone on ATT network. So my question is this: is there anyone out there who has a rom which is Devoid of all ATT apps and configuration and is slim and neutral enough to be used internationally on any network? I know a rooted 5.0 can be debloated but I am afraid to debloat it as I have debloated too much on previous kitkat and roms and developed some errors. then there were other apps which I could not delete. The ATT contacts messages was keep popping up and other ATT roaming messages.
I am looking for a slim rom without all ATT stuff, stock look and rooted 5.0.
please guide me on the right direction. thanks in advance.
Aftab
You can try the stock rooted lollipop rom and then run the debloat flash zip to remove anything related to Att.

Is recommend that you always do a full wipe and nandroid back up
This the treat in the att forum. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2141236
How are we supposed to flash this if this is quincyatt?
From what I understand they are cross compatible. I flashed the T-Mo stock rom onto my unlocked At&t Note since I use T-Mobile for my service which allows wifi calling.

1st post after years of lurking:
My i717 is an unlocked ATT and rooted - to run on Tmo. I wonder if the rom (bloated as it may be comparred to the ROM I'm using) will install well on my 1+yr old ATT model. I suppose only one way to tell. (crossing fingers).
Anyone tried to see if nfc beam works by default on this updated / stock rom?

It will work on either unit. I currently am using an unlocked and rooted I717 and have run successfully both T-MO and AT&T ROM's.
I just need to get one that's not stock T-Mo to get the Wifi Calling working because I need it for my new place where I get NO reception LOL.
As the subject stated, I have AT&T version of the Galaxy S4 Active. The phone is unlocked (code provided by AT&T) and now I have a T-Mobile SIM card.
I want to do Wi-Fi calling, but couldn't find any information in this forum or when Googling it.
Can anyone provide step-by-step information on this? Preferably, I don't want to install a custom ROM - I use stock ROM (rooted) and it has been stable so far.

Check this thread for T-Mobile WiFi calling ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2302313). You've got two things working against you though. First you have the AT&T version of the phone, so ours locked down and you can't fully flash ROMs to the phone. You can use SafeStrap to flash ROMs but because of the bootloader being locked your stock with the stock kernel. Second, nobody has got T-Mobile WiFi calling working on non T-Mobile ROMs. So basically you can't do it with the phone you've got.
Thanks for the detailed information. Looks like it's not doable given the locked boot loader. :sly:
My current biggest problem with mod'n the i537 is primarily with my objective to convert it to a TMobile master piece.
Speak up IF anyone has done this successfully please. It is challenging because....
1) I have yet to find a version of SafeStrap or other similar program to assist in the ROM install that states it is compatible on i537 running 4.2.2
2) I have not found a thread confirming that there is a stable TMobile ROM tested on the i537 active
please chime in if you have any experience with these objectives. I would like to get this phone working at it's full potential ASAP.

what @Devo7v said, that method works for 4.2.2 and if you do upgrade to 4.3 you can follow this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2721726. I personally still am on Tmo and using the 4.2.2 method cause I don't wanna redo everything unless I update to 4.4.2 which as of now doesn't exactly have anything to change the QCN. ;[

I am convinced there is NO WAY to get ALL TMobile services to work on the i537 active. There is a rumor that it may be possible on the international i9295 Active BUT it does not have the LTE 4g receiver frequency!!!
No one seems to have successfully restored wifi calling and tethering on a TMobi ROM on the i537 active so I am selling mine back to an ATT customer and picking up a TMobi s5 or standard s4.
Hey all,
I just purchased this NOTE3 SM-N900A, the dork didnt send me a SM-N900T. In any case what I would like to do is root it with an custom ROM. I have tried ODIN about ten times this morning using the T-Mobile md5 file and I keep getting an error about Secure Magiccode Check Fail: Recovery.
The phone is suppose to be rooted but I cant tell.
I have Samsung Sii,SII and S4 but this one (Note 3) is giving me some problems.
Any and all information will be greatly appreciated to get rid of the ATT stuff and just install a custom ROM. I dont care about any warranties and or the KNOX stuff.
I want to install the TMO firmware with the correct modems.
All suggestions and or comments will be greatly appreciated.
on the ODIN SCREEN it states WRITE PROTECTION Enable.
Videos are welcome too!!
Ciao~
Brad
Honestly you may be best off selling the 900A. AT&T has locked the bootloader, so custom roms are limited to one's that work with the stock kernel (basically only touchwiz based roms, no AOSP, CM etc...)

Well Damn, what I really want to add the TMO Firmware. I have it unlocked and rooted, but I want the TMO modems.
It's been done before, there are several threads about it on here somewhere...

How did u unlocked it ??? and coming on KK from JB locks the phone again ??
I have hunted around for an answer, but couldn't find anything that made sense.
I switched carriers (At&t to T-mobile) and have unlocked the IMEI, but I run into metric F--- Tons of issues.
So is it possible to load the Galaxy S6 Tmobile stock rom, or even a custom rom onto my At&t Galaxy S6? If so how do I do it?
Thanks for any help!

Given our AT&T version has a locked bootloader and is also the only derivative still on 5.0.2, there is quite literally nothing you can do. Being on T-mobile now, I would sell that G920A for G920T in a heart beat.
You may be able to root and install XtreStoLite rom v1.5 for increased performance and battery life, but that will never get you things like wifi calling. (which you'll probably need on T-mob)

Thanks for replying. What do you mean it has a locked bootloader?
