[Q] Cannot Establish A Wireless Connection - HTC Desire 510

Hello everyone new to this forum so first of all would like to say hello.
Now I am experiencing a problem with my Desire 510. I just rooted this phone a couple days ago and everything has been great. This morning had a notification saying SuperSU needs to update binaries. I updated that through TWRP and seemed successful. However after this the phone rebooted and ever since then I am getting notice saying "Unable to establish a wireless data connection EHRPD: 33". I get this when it is connecting to LTE. However, when I go to mobile connection settings and select CDMA only it connects to 3G with no problem and I can get online. Is this problem related to rooting my phone somehow or is it possible I am just experiencing this problem because of Boost Mobile right now?
-Thanks for the help

While on CDMA only I "Updated Profile" which was successful and then my phone rebooted and is now connected to the 4G LTE again so that seemed to solve the issue.

Still wondering though if this issue was or could have been caused because I have rooted the phone?

After factory reset I can't establish a wireless data connection. Every time i tap an app message pops up it has stopped. And I cannot get into my settings to do anything. Please help. Thank you

[Q] 3g will no longer connect

I installed CM6 onto my sister's Hero as well as my mom's Hero. My Mom's Hero works fine but my sister's will not connect to the 3g network! I have gone through and turned on/off all of the network settings and can't get it to re-enable the data services. Wifi works, calls/text work, just not the internet connection over the mobile network. I tried flashing Fresh to see if that would work and I get "Data Call Failure - Error Code 67 .Registration failure. Your PCS Vision username and/or password may be incorrect. Please try again." repeatedly. The 'Mobile Network' in the settings menu in Fresh stays stuck on "Turning on...". I don't get that error in CM6, however. I've tried reflashing/wiping as well with no luck. Is the 3g radio separate from the radio that does calls/texts? Is there a way to check it? I don't want to tell her that I broke her internet connection :/
What radio are u using on that phone? And what all have u wiped?
Root-Hack-Mod-Always™
I was using the most recent radio I believe, 2.42.01.04.27, and I tried wiped everything in recovery. I continued searching for an answer and was able to find a thread that solved my problem! http://androidforums.com/sprint-her.../13197-data-call-failure-error-code-67-a.html
I just had to go into system updates in about phone and perform a 'profile update'
When I first setup her phone she couldn't remember her gmail password so we reset it and she was able to log in. I completely forgot but her 3g worked for that day! the NEXT day we noticed it wasn't working and it stayed like that for a few days until I was able to fix it now. She set up her gmail account at the sprint store when she first got her phone, could her gmail password somehow be related to her PCS username/password so that changing it screwed up her ability to login into the sprint PCS service? I'm still confused as to why this happened on her's but not on my Mom's phone, and never on my phone!
I had this happen saturday night,, running dd 2.8.. data would not start for nothing.. I nandroided back.. and all is good!!

[Q] Phone constantly showning "No Service"

Hey
I have a little problem which has rendered my N1 practically useless as a phone. I was on MicroMod's Gingerbread ROM for some and all was going fine. Today I decided to switch to CM7 nightly. It worked fine but after a reboot I realized that my phone was not connecting to my network. I rebooted, wiped and reflashed, tried a different sim, tried a different rom. Everything. It just isn't working. My network bars are grayed zero and there is a small cross on them. My notifications show my Service Provider's name (Airtel), and on the lockscreen it reads: (No Service)|Airtel. I went into network operators in settings and it says searching for a while then a toast notification pops up saying that there was an error while searching for network. What should I do? Any help will be appreciated.
Regards
Raptor
P.S.:It's not a network problem. I tried using my sim in another phone and it worked just fine.
Never mind actually. I fixed the problem. The device would sometime start connecting to the network properly for a few minutes. The 5th time that happened I went into mobile operators in the wireless and network section of settings. From there I selected my network and rebooted. My device has been working perfectly since then.

no hotspot/tethering

Hi, I'm having problems using my phone as wifi hotspot as my laptop will only pick up the signal for a brief second and then the conection goes. I'm on a tethering plan and used my previous phone no problems thought i upgraded not down graded lol. Has anyone had this problem or know any solutions? Thanks in advance
Same prob
Mine is the same, once I turn in hotspot, laptop takes a while to connect and when it does I get limited connectivity warning and no Internet.
Also, when I restart the phone, playlists on the SD card disappear.
I have only had my z3c for about a week, and just tried the hot spot for the first time. It didn't work, so I fiddled with all the settings that I thought might affect it, to no avail. I then googled, and chased down a couple of pages of suggestions, but still nothing. As a last resort, I rechecked the APN (T-Mobile) ... everything still looked ok, but I decided to reset the APN back to default ... rebooted, and now everything works great!

wifi keeps searching

hi all. i am on android 6.0.1 build 23.5.A.1.291. My problem is that my wifi keeps resetting and searching. i am traveling so its not my personal router that is an issue. my tablet and laptop connect to the same routers here without issue but my phone tries to connect various open connections but immediately resets all connections and starts searching for them again. occasionally it connects for a second. the same issue occurs if is set my tablet as a hotspot so i doubt it is related to the available connections. also for some reason i don't seem to have any advanced options anymore to tell the phone to sop scanning. Any help would be much appreciated. so far I tried turning airplane mode on and off as it seems have started at the airport, reset all network connections , general powering down and up etc. nothing seems to work.
hey, i know this post is quite old yet i only found it now facing exactly the same issue. it all started at my parents when phone was suddenly not able to connect (exclamation mark on wifi icon in status bar). i restarted router but it did not help. when i came home i faced the same issue. both routers are different, different provider, etc. before the weekend all worked fine so not really sure what happened. not the phone (z3c) keeps searching for wifi, displays the list for a few secs and searches again.
i tried what was suggested in other topics, like here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/help/wifi-issues-z3c-marshmallow-fix-t3390859
or
https://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/help/wifi-randomly-disconnecting-575-t3435244
but nothing helped. now considering to re-flash the latest firmware. trying my luck here before i do so.
current sw on 23.5.A.1.291
update:
1) i tried to repair the phone using Sony Companion .. did not help
2) flashed it with the latest sw .. did not help
in both cases sw version was D5803_23.5.A.1.291_1288-5411_R12D. when phone starts for the first time it shows wifi networks. but just for a while, that it starts "searching for wifi networks..". when i select my wifi network, fill in the password and click connect it says "failed to connect to network". i can already see on the background that the phone is again searching for wifi networks. if i try to connect at the right moment network is saved. but then it does not connect. or sometimes it does but "checking connection" takes ages and wifi symbol in top bar keeps appearing and disappearing. at the end it shows error message "could not connect to internet".
what could be the problem?

Issues when connected with tethering hotspot

Dear all,
I'm experiencing a new issue with Huawei P20 Pro.
When I turn on tethering via hotspot button, phone loses mobile datalink.
This is strange, because app google chrome tells that there is no connection available.
ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED
But from the device connected via tethering, it can connect with no issues.
It seems like the phone can serve just one device at a time.
In fact, if I deactivate hotspot, phone connection works again.
This has never happened before, I tried rebooting the device but nothing changed.
My phone is not rooted
Any idea?
issue solved by resetting network settings on phone
If someone is experiencing the same issue
follow these steps
I can't publish links so please google for " Reset Network Settings HUAWEI P20 Pro"
