That app was meant for Kitkat. Lollipop runs a different variant of ART so it's probably giving a false reading considering Lollipop no longer seems to even have the dalvik lib files. For the most part Lollipop seems completely unable to even run Dalvik ever agsin.

Sorry if this is a very noobish question, but I've done a pretty good amount of searching and haven't found anything. Every once in a while when I check an app like WakeLock Detector or browse Xposed modules my phone will tell me that I am not rooted. I use root checker just to double check and it confirms this. Upon reset my phone will 'go back' to being rooted. I've done a factory reset and rooted again but was still getting the same problem. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
I'm on a Sprint HTC One with 4.4.2 for the record.
To any mods: sorry if this is in the wrong place, feel free to move it or let me know where to correctly post it.

Supersu. Although I might have figured out the problem.
For some reason the binaries weren't updating correctly so I just did a clean install of it again and that seems to have done the trick. I'll update in a few days if the problem's gone away for good.
Hey guys, Idk why but recently my phone is going crazy
I first noticed this a few months ago, I was playing Injustice and it kept pausing. At that time my internal memory was 75% full, so I thought that might be the problem so later I uninstalled the app
But recently all my other games and video streaming apps(Twitch ,YouTube etc) keeps pausing, my Album app is bugged (though the Movies app works fine), camera force closes. Even my keyboard acts buggy sometimes. I tried formatting my phone memory, still no effect.
I think it could be a virus but I tried Clean Master (I guess this isn't a good choice) and it shows nothing is wrong
So do you think it's a virus? If it is, what should I do and if not, any particular solutions?
Thanks in advance guys and I hope I posted this thread in the proper section

If you're rooted, try clearing the cache and dalvik cache. Or maybe reinstall the ROM, that's what I usually do when my phone starts acting up. It's annoying, but worth it. What ROM are you on BTW?

Well Actually I'm using the stock 4.3 ROM and I haven't even rooted my phone
I tried rooting it, but couldn't unlock the bootloader
You don't need to unlock the bootloader to root Try TowelRoot. My advice is to do a fresh install with Flashtool, with a non-carrier specific ROM (no bloatware). When I was on eXistenZ Ultra, my phone slowed down after a few days. I think this happened on the stock ROM too, it might be a bug.

I tried TowelRoot, it shows that my phone is rooted but when I use other apps to check my root status like Root Checker or Titanium Backup it shows "The phone isn't rooted"
Damn, I suck at this
Did you flash a superuser app after rooting?
You can check root with the app 'root check' (appstore)

Maybe TowelRoot doesn't work properly on .207 (if you're on that firmware). Have you followed the instructions in this thread? You might have missed something - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2783885
I installed Xposed, and a module that thought (knock on) I think it was not compatible, to restart the device, it gives boot loop, clean the dalvik and it starts, if I reboot again, boot loop return. Any solution? :crying: my phone is a xperia z2

You have to uninstall the module to fix it. If you're on Kitkat then I think there should be a zip in Android/data/com.somexposedstuff and somewhere in there. Idk about lollipop

You're on your bootlooped phone? If so, just disable and uninstall the module that caused the bootloop. I really don't know how to do this on lolliop. Maybe posting in Xposed General? I t would be the appropriate location for this thread.

I had only excluded files containing "Xposed" in the name with Root Explorer, but remained the files described in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58964632&postcount=2258
Made as described, restarted, he updated one last time and went back to normal. Thanks for your help. : D
No problem. Remember to uninstall the incompatible application.

Try clearing your cache, if it's still laggy after that I'd recommend a factory reset.

I just did the factory reset via recovery... and still laggy.
For some reason when the phone startup, the message of "optimizing application" never appeared, can be that?
I also had some lag after the update, most noticeably in apps like whatsapp . Somewhere someone said that you should go into developer options and tick disable HW overlays. This solved it for me, i don't know if there are "side effects" to this, but you can give it a shot.

YouTube keeps crashing ... Sometimes retry makes the video playback going again, other times I have to wait a bit before I can use YT again. short of installing custom roms, anything I can do to fix this annoying issue?

Delete the youtube.apk/dir in /system/app
Clear ART cache and then install normally the latest yt client from the playstore.
This worked for me, but no guarantee whatsoever.
