[Q] Help with 4.4 ROMS - TouchPad Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I need a fairly stable and usable ROM and it has been said that 4.4 ROMS are the most mature and stable ATM.
Please direct me to a good and extremely stable ROM for the HP Touchpad.
I have narrowed it down to [ROM] [4.4.4] [CyanogenMod 11 by Jcsullins] [DM] [01/13/15] and [ROM][OFFICIAL][KitKat 4.4.4][TENDERLOIN] PAC-man KK RELEASE [WEEKLY]].
i need wifi,camera,and good app support #CLASHOFCLANS:silly:.
Furthermore i have been running jcsullin's CM10.1 uptil now.
Thanks in advance

Either will work. ROM developers don't support or guarantee that any specific app will work with their ROMs. You'll just have to try each and see which one you like better. Once you've learned how to install a LP ROM, it doesn't take that much additional time, and it's a far better way to determine what's best for you.

I can't decide on which rom to get. In your mind, which ROM is the most stable.

Thanks in advance
FAQ, question 1.
Just as a warning... the nightlies for CyanogenMod are usually pretty stable, but not always. This is their testing ground for the actual stable release (which is currently 7.0.3 which is based off of Android 2.3.3). Right now in the nightlies, Android 2.3.4 is being tested which will eventually become CM 7.1.
I am not familiar with MUIU's testing, but I am sure they have a similar thing.
But as it is mentioned in the FAQ that is in Jack_R1's signature, there isn't a ROM that is the best for the N1. It is based on user preference. Just like there isn't a "best" android phone.

Stable ROM for Device

I run CM 10.1 on my Android phone and saw there is a CM project available for this device, but wanted to ask the gurus here, what is the most stable ROM for this device that is available?
Milaq's 10.1 is about as stable as you can get, but no further development is happening on Jelly Bean as the best devs - milaq, flintman notably - are working on kitkat. Which is usable on a daily basis but still a WIP.
Jcsullins 10.1 roms are also worth a download.
Try them and see what you think.
Peace

Thanks for the info. I'll probably stick with Milaq's 10.1 as I will still need it for daily use and need just about all features functioning.

[Q] Android 4.x Stable ROM Suggestions

Hello,
I'm looking for a Galaxy Mini ROM based on android 4.x (4.1.x, 4.2.2, 4.4.2). The phone is not mine so I'm looking for something very stable.
I tried the latest CM11 4.4.2 Nightly (12th April 2014) and it's very good but not quite stable yet. I don't mind another older CM ROM with android 4.1.x or 4.2.2 for example as long as it is fast, functional and stable.
Can you guys suggest something that you have personally tested?
Thread closed as its a Best ROM thread.

There is no stable version of cm11 for the i9305 so there is a 0% chance that they will make a stable version of cm12 for it.

Liquid might be, omni isn't. By stable I meant a release with a "stable" classification. He was asking about cm12 anyway.
No need say stable. We (i9305) just need android lollipop. Even achrafi9305 :cyclops:

Best ROM

Hi, i would like know what is the best ROM now for SP? AOKP CM Existenz ecc? A summary of ROM can be useful.
Sorry for english
Thanks
sir, u got death wish?
After many tries best for me is stock rom
I've used quite some roms and kernels. For now the best two would be pacrom and Crystal PA rom. They are stable, have some additional features compared to cm11 and they are fast. With williams kernel they work smooth.
If you are looking for stock based then in my opinion eXistanZ Ultra with Williams v7 would do.
Here's what I think about the different ROMs out there!
CM11 - Great support, lots of MODs, very stable. But tends to get laggy very soon.
AOSPA - Some great unique features, great Audio, better touch sensitivity ( All the @neXus PRIME ROMs have these features.
PAC - Loaded with all the goodness from all the ROMs, but had some random reboots but that might be my problem only!
OMNI - The ROM which is the most close to AOSP. Almost the pure android experience.
AICP - Loaded with features and honestly, overloaded. Gets very laggy, really soon.
AOKP - I'm not an AOKP lover, had random problems with AOKP.
Vanir - 4.4.2 version was absolutely brilliant. It was THE fastest and most responsive ROM out there. With 4.4.4 came lots of bugs.
CM 11s - A very nice ROM. Stable and good battery life upto an extent.
SlimKat - Extremely stable for me
Stock Based - They are really stable and provides improved functionality over the Stock FWs. But no KitKat love for them!
CM 12 - Alpha Stage and unstable obviously!
Out of all these I personally prefer the OMNI or SlimKat.
P.S : All these are my opinions and may NOT be how the ROM works out for others. I respect all the developers who worked behind them

No problems in using 4.4.2 but we don't want to stick with an earlier version when you have later ones, do we? Still it's a good option!:fingers-crossed:
