Comcast Moden Connection - Google Chromecast

Cant get chromecast to connect to comcast modem DCP 3939 https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/3438461 cant find these settings is there a fix or work around

My guess is that your have the modem/router from Comcast. I've learned that you need your own router as I spent weeks looks for a workaround for my in-laws.
Comcast blamed Google, which made me laugh when I connected the Chromecast on my own network and it worked. From my research, Comcast did an update to the modem/router that essentially caused the problem.
If anyone has found the solution, please share!

I have one of the comcast routers that was installed with my X1 box. Per the router info it's a Cisco Model DPC3939. It supports both 2.4 and 5 GHz.
Make sure you are connecting to the 2.4 GHz not the 5GHz (Chromecast help page says 5GHz is unsupported).
I tried rebooting router then chromecast, that didn't work.
I tried adding the mac address manually to the router and was still having trouble (router saw the chromecast as connected but during chromecast initializiation it couldn't connect to the newtork).
What finally fixed it for me was fiddling with the UPnP settings then rebooting the chromecast after. You can get to the UPnP settings by logging into the router, then:
Advanced > Device Discovery
These are the setting I have, that worked:
UPnP: Enable
Advertisement Period: 5 minutes (default is 30)
TTL: 10 hops (default is 5)
Zero Config: Enable (default is disable)
After saving those settings I then restarted the chromecast and went through the connection initialization on the chromecast app and it now connects / works
It also worked for me

Comcast has 15 types of modems, when did you get it, what does it look like?
Does the name of your WiFi have a space in it?

Just my advice...
But anyone using an ISP provided device that has it's own WiFi is using a router and should go out and buy your own then have their ISP put that device into Bridge mode.
You will have a much easier time with getting streaming and other servers to work and you will have complete control over your home network....
As opposed to someone who lives 100's or 1000's of miles away who may or may not speak your language!

Can't connect my N1 with Linksys router

Hello
My N1 can connect easily to all kind of wifi routers and modems without problem but not with my fitness club's one, they have a Linksys N160.
My N1 can detect the signal, enter the password but then it's stucked with the message ''getting ip...''
Where is the problem? is it a know hardware or software compatibility stuff?
Sometimes rebooting the wifi router helps. Also make sure that when the guy over at your fitness club reboots the router you don't have the wifi of the club saved. delete the saved wifi profile, reboot the wifi router and then try. Cheers.
Already tried it several times. I saw that OS4 of iphone/ipod have the same problem with router enabling Wireless-N, I will ask him to limit the router to B/G
I also had similar problem with Linksys WAG54G2 (at latest firmware). Then I changed to much cheaper adsl router, TP-LINK WD-W8960N and no more connection problem.
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
I had problems using my Nexus One on my SMC Barricade 802.11b/g/n router when 802.11n was enabled. Turned it off; problems were gone. I don't think that works well yet, though some people have said otherwise. Could be a router-specific issue.
Ok so it's a WAG160N to be specific.
He tried to use mixed B/G instead of mixed (which would imply N too) but it still stuck at getting ip...
I told him to throw this router in the garbage because anyway SE and HP mobiles can't connect too,but he said he would do it but his boss will never accept to pay a penny more
My parents had a router that did exactly the same, my phone got stuck on Obtaining IP, whilst the missus 5800 connected and broswed just fine.
It was a crappy old thing and they replaced it the other week, now I can connect and browse just fine.
I also use a linksys WAG160N.
bought a nexus one, could not for the life of me get an internet connection.
turns out dns on router is poofed, so i just set DNS from my isp manually on the nexus one together with a static ip and booya interent at full 802.11n speeds.
sometimes its the simple things.
This sounds similar to when I set my router to channel 13 or whatever the max was on it. My N1 would only sometimes get a connection, but would eventually drop it and stay off. Solved it by selecting a lower channel (WifiAnalyzer suggesten channel 1 as the best alternative to channel max) on the AP.
I can see that in CM6 nightly that I have since started using I can choose regulatory domain, and thereby open up channels previously blocked. If you can't change anything on the AP this might help you solve the problem on your end.
So suggestions if none of the posts above me provide a solution is to run WifiAnalyzer and see how the channel-graph looks.

I can NOT get it to work with Verizon FIOS Actiontec router

I plugged in the Chromecast and put in all the information and waited while it tried to connect to my Actiontec router. (Verizon FIOS) I waited, and waited and waited. After about 10 minutes it goes back to the beginning. The help button says I need to turn off the Access Point Isolation on my router. Unfortunately there's no such setting. I'm not happy because I have 3 more of these coming tomorrow and if I can't connect to my network I'm shot. Panic starts to set in.
Luckily, I have a cheap $30 Fry's wifi router on my network. I switched the Chromecast to the Fry's router and, bam, it connected immediately.
So, if your cable company's router doesn't work, just go out and buy a cheapo wifi router and you'll be fine.
The joy that is reading Verizon FiOS/Actiontec entrails
Deep voodoo Actiontec solution: You need to disable the IGMP Proxy.
The exact location of this checkbox changes between Actiontec revs but a good start is "Advanced/Routing/Routing Protocols/Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP)."
Once this is off network devices typically can discover & connect to eachother.
Another strategy is, on the latest revs, enabling IPv6 (no, after years of promises Verizon still hasn't rolled IPv6 out yet, but at least the latest routers might be ready.) Anyhow, this is often reported to resolve local connectivity issues.
Just for reference, I have the newest Fios Actiontec router, and had no problems. Just so everyone with that router doesn't think they'll necessarily need to do this.

Good point. Mine's about 6 years old, maybe I should get them to replace it.
I had the same problem. Turned off NAT, connected, then turned NAT on
Guess this is reason #153 why I'm glad I have a Linksys router piggy-backed off of the crappy FIOS unit for the majority of my networking needs
A tip if upgrading to a newer Actiontec router: The settings backup files are *not* compatible between versions.
I upgraded to the latest router version six months ago; I'd done a lot of customizing (assigning addresses, ports, etc) and assumed it'd be an easy switch. I ended up having to temporarily return my newer router to get back my old, screenshot many pages of settings, return the old for new, then re-enter settings. A hassle, but it does run better now.
Assuming the local depot/storefront has 'em in stock it's a few minutes to swap out for a newer or newest revision.
Coincidentally I had a visit a week later to replace a burnt-out-again ONT & the tech reported he'd changed things around a bit in it for even better service. I've no idea what that involved but if it's been a long time you might want to look into a service call.

Some Help
I also picked up a Chromecast yesterday and am on Verizon Fios with the new Actiontec MI424WR router. I cannot get my Chromecast to connect. Sometimes I see it on the network, but it will not connect. Verizon, Actiontec, and so far Google have not been able to help me. I tried the tricks in this posting, but no luck.
I have a Buffalo Air Station wireless router, but have not had success operating this in conjunction with the Fios service (I have tried to bridge it, and run it just off ActionTec). Can someone help? I am okay at digging into this stuff, but you guys know so much more than me!

The instructions below worked for me. Found it in an Apple Forum out of all places.
log in to your router(192.168.1.1), go to Wireless Settings then Advanced Security Settings. At the bottom of the screen, click "Other Advanced Wireless Options". On the next screen change Network from "Network (Home/Office)" to "Broadband". Click Apply
Just curious but it could be that you have multicasting disabled on the router.
It could also be that the router does not support multicasting in general, but this is a feature that allows devices to discover each other on a private network.

I am having the same issue with DIR 655 router. Tried all the suggestion in this thread. But still no luck. Anyone having similar problem with DIR 655?
I'm having a similar problem. I've got a Linksys router that is happily supplying WiFi to my laptop, mobile phone, Kindle Fire, and XBox, but I can't get Chromecast to work properly. I get partially into the setup and then get the following message -- "Chromecast connected to [Name of Network], but can't connect to the internet." I've fiddled with countless settings to no avail. AP/Isolation mode is disabled, I've only got 2.4 GHz bands, the router is 20 ft away, etc. All the suggestions the Google Help guy gave me have had zero effect, so I thought I'd post here to see if anyone else ran into this error message and had a solution.

OK! finally found the issue. If your wifi password is too long(auto generated for WPA2) then chromecast cannot handle it. Reducing the length of router password fixed it. I reduced it to ~20 characters. Have not tested the pw length limit of cast.

My password is only 9 characters, and I have tried everything else suggested here. Anyone else have any ideas on how to get it to work?
I'm also having a similar issue with my DIR-601. I am able to detect my Chromecast but after the screen that asks for the WiFi info /renaming the Chromecast, I get an error stating that we were unable to find Chromecast on your network. I have checked that UPnP and have Enable IPv4 Multicast Streams selected (tried both ways.) I don't have any special firewall rules or anything like that. My pass is only 8 characters.
Wish Google had better support for this, all they have is a little questionnaire on their support page.If anyone finds a solution, please share. Thanks
Out of curiosity where is the enable multicast option at? I didn't see one.

Worked for me as well. Thank you! :good:
None of the suggestions in this thread worked for me. I have the Actiontec Gen 3, rev I router (MI424WR-GEN3I), with firmware v. 40.20.7.
Apparently, the UPnP page is hidden, but can be accessed after logging in to the router using: 192.168.1.1/index.cgi?active_page=900. Changing the settings on this page didn't work either.
After a quick Google, I found an IGMP hidden page at 192.168.1.1/index.cgi?active_page=6059. I looked at these settings yet.
Calling Verizon's Expert Care, I was told that they don't support UPnP, since they only provide access to the Internet.
Fix found ... at least for me

I had the same issues as everyone else at both my office and my house. At home, I changed the IGMP settings, the UPnP settings, the security settings, etc. I finally figured out a way to make it work by simply trying to complete the setup from my laptop instead of my Droid 4. It worked on the first try at my house, and now all of my phones, tablets and computers can cast to the big tv. I immediately brought my laptop to the office and changed the IGMP setting -- and it immediately worked after that.
So maybe a solution is to try setting it up from your computer instead of your phone/tablet? It worked for me twice that way!

Good advice.
Remember that the WiFi bands (channels) are not exactly the same between countries. So if you're in a non-US country and your router happens to choose a channel that is not available in the US, Chromecast may not detect your wireless AP.
But Telus is Canadian, and Canada has the same WiFi channels as the U.S. (Canada and the U.S. necessarily share identical radio spectrum allocation).

Didn't know that. Thanks! Still applies to other countries though. I think Channel 13 is one of the channels that applies to Europe but not US. I should put it in the FAQ...
EDIT: Seems there's far less exclusion than I thought... but added a note in the FAQ just in case.

So I can get through the setup phase up until the Chromecast tries to connect to my wifi network. I get a message saying it couldn't connect, and when I click the link in the message it brings me to a page that mentions AP filtering, UPNP enabling and .NET 3.5. I checked and UPNP is enabled, and I can't find an option for AP filtering (I have the Actiontech V1000h). I am using a Macbook pro.

In some cases you have to go through a couple of times. I just reset my Chromecast to test a few things and had to go through the setup twice before it connected to my WiFi.
Chromecast in Canada, on Telus
A friend lent me his chromecast. He uses an iphone and Shaw cable. I use a Nexus 4, and have Telus as my internet provider.
It was a bear trying to get chromecast to work. Tried 5 separate days. Got it to work and i could watch netflix/youtube on it about 3 times and played with it for a couple of hours each. That's the success.
The fail is that I had to trouble shoot more then 4+ hours to get it to work those 3 times. Reboot the chromecast. Reboot the router. Reboot my Nexus 4. Try my wife's Nexus 4. Try the Nexus 7 tablet. It was a horrible experience. I got the AP recommendation like the earlier post in this thread. I tried that. Tried calling telus and signed into my router to check that those settings were correct. As far as I understand it's a gateway 11n wireless router.
So my conclusion is change my internet provider to Shaw unless someone has a smart solution to this problem. The router says it's a 50ghz signal? So it isn't the 2.4vs 5.0 ghz signal problem that I've googled and read about.
Please provide some brains to my situation. I've used all of mine up.

So I took the plunge and bought one. Maybe it'd be different than my friends. Looks like this is a me problem. The chromecast still doesn't work. I thought it might be the tv that it's plugged into? Maybe shielding the chromecast from the wifi? I don't know. Will trouble shoot with a different tv or a long hdmi cable that will get the chromecast out from behind the tv. Maybe that'll help.

TVs are great at blocking/scrambling radio signals.
Use the included HDMI extender. If that doesn't help (enough), get an HDMI extension and move Chromecast away from the TV. One of mine is on a 10-foot HDMI extension. The other is connected upstream of a another device that connects to my TV, so both of my Chromecasts are at least a foot away from its associated TV.

It could be a few things not related to the router directly but related in how the Router connects to your ISP.
So a couple of questions...
What kind of service is your ISP? (DSL, CABLE, OTHER)
What Public IP does your router report? (Usually found on the status page that shows connection data) If it starts off 192.168 then your Modem is doing a double nat translation and you need to call your ISP and tell them you want the Modem to be put into gateway mode and just pass a public IP to your router.
Does the CCast actually connect to the Router but not work or will it not connect at all period? If it doesn't connect at all it is possible you need to change the Security method used to WPA or WEP. To test shut off security alltogether and try to connect the CCast. If there is currently NO security try putting WPA on and trying again (but it should work on an open AP)

Service is Telus DSL.
Solution: I changed the security settings. It still tries to stop the CCast from talking to my phone once in a while, but I just log into my router and log into the firewall settings. The firewall settings are "high, medium, low, NAT". It started working once I started turning it off of NAT and onto Medium or High.
I don't know why this is the solution, but it is a solution. I suspect that either Telus will fix the prolbem for everyone else or this thread will become popular. Now CCast is coming to Canada. So either Telus fixes it or there'll be a lot of searching leading to this post.
As a reminder, a friend of mine on telus never toughed his firewall settings and never had a problem with using his CCast. Go figure.

Well if the Telus was set to NAT perhaps Double Nat Translation was the issue.
DO you have another router connected to your modem or is this one of those all in one Hybrids supplied by the ISP?

I have a friend that is struggling with this as well. While setting up the WiFi connection between the chromecast and the router (the Actiontec V1000H - which is a modem/router combo if that helps). The chromecast will see the WiFi, but it seems to time out while trying to connect to the router.
I did find a comment on a blog somewhere (sorry, I forget where) that suggests unchecking the "IGMP snooping enabled" option in the router (Advanced Settings>IGMP Setting). Once this was done, the chromecast connected to the WiFi without any issues and we were able to stream it without any issues.
However after going out for dinner we had major issues trying to connect to the WiFi on our phones and his laptop (laptop would try to connect to the WiFi but continually fail). It seems like this is a temporary fix at best.
The only permanent solution I can think of at the moment is to go buy a new router that is listed as having no issues on the chromecast compatibility list... Which kind of defeats the whole purpose of having the chromecast as an economic way to stream content to your big screen.
Buy a better router
I don't see why IGMP should have any affect on being able to login and connect.
I Can see it being a problem with streaming but not connection.
IS this an ISP provided Modem/Router? How many devices are connecting wirelessly?
Check settings for IGMP Proxy, Try changing that setting whatever it is but it should probably be disabled (Still don't think this would affect connection but it's worth checking)
Check if UPnP Is enabled (again not really connection related but it does need to be enabled for CCast)
I personally prefer to use a two device setup with separate Modem (in Bridge Mode) and Router....This way the Modem protects the router from the outside world and even if the Modem goes bad the Network still functions properly.
And I pretty much stay away from anything that isn't a Linksys or Netgear product as far as Routers are concerned.
There are a bunch of Actiontec models that are listed as incompatible with CCast on the google site so it's obvious that something about their firmware is not CCast friendly.
So the the previous poster may actually have made a good suggestion in the long run! LOL

As long as double NAT doesn't cause you problems, you can
Assign the new router's WAN port to an address in the ISP router's LAN range
Set the new router's gateway to the ISP router's LAN address
Connect the two routers LAN port to LAN port
Have all your wired and wireless clients connect to the new router.

ChromeCast with RT-AC66U running Merlin Firmware

In order to get my Chromecast working with the latest Merlin flash I had to Enable the following on the "LAN / IPTV" page of Merlin firmware:
"Enable efficient multicast forwarding (IGMP Snooping)"
(If you're not familiar with Merlin version of the firmware for this router - it is essentially like the Asus firmware with some goodies / upgrades tacked on and fixes applied.)
I DID NOT enable IGMP Snooping settings in the 2.4ghz "Wireless / Professional" tab if anyone was wondering about that setting. I have limited knowledge of what these settings actually do and was just troubleshooting via trial and error.
I did a REBOOT through the router interface after setting the enabled setting in LAN / IPTV mentioned above.
Just to let you guys know as I didn't see anyone completely address it here and I was really struggling with getting my Chromecast set up on a new flash until I found this particular setting change.
I am running a pair of RT-AC66U's. (I keep one off-line that I play around with flashing Merlin and/or DD-WRT firmware and put on-line for testing purposes if something goes wrong with a flash or setting).
My version of Merlin is the latest Beta I could download at:
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/bkfq2a6aebq68//Asuswrt-Merlin#lt9d2blv8a9uh
I am using "Firmware:3.0.0.4.374.36_beta1 (Merlin build)" according to my configuration page. This is the latest Beta dated 12-23-2013.
I'd be interested in finding out if anyone is using anything different with success on Chromecast with this router configuration or if this is the only configuration that works. Haven't done any network testings of any substance yet but everything seems to be running smoothly.
Pings to my internal LAN server seem to be tight anywhere from about 1-5msec.
I run rt-n66u's and haven't had any issues but I am also not running the latest merlin.
Thanks for the post so after I upgrade if I am having issues I know what to try first.

My setup was working for a while - but after about a week or so, the setup above seemed to totally dog out my Internet connection and it was definitely something in the router as I was getting 30+ mbps download and 10-20 mbps upload which is consistent with what my ISP says they are providing to me. (Tested by hooking up my Ubuntu laptop directly to the cable modem.)
I literally couldn't run Chromecast with Netflix. Not sure why the router got so bogged down after a few weeks. So I hooked up the standard Asus firmware - this worked fine for providing Internet access at fully subscribed speeds - but now the Chromecast won't work with the most recent firmware that Asus has for the RT-AC66U. Tried IGMP snooping and it doesn't seem to matter.
I see there is a third Beta revision of the Merlin firmware - presently. I'm going to try that version on my backup version of this router and see if that presents any problem or not with the Chromecast.
Wish there was a good troubleshooting guide for CC and this router. So many settings and very little information as to what works and what doesn't when using CC with the RT-AC66U router.
Haven't had my chromecast working for months with this router now. Kind of given up. Actually not sure how I even got it set up the first time.
Must have been sheer blind luck.
A lot easier just to hook up the laptop with display port or HDMI connection and stream to the TV.
Somewhat related but I have the N66U with Tomato FW and cc not connecting for some reason. Was fine on Merlin FW
I have a RT-N66U running Merlin 374.41 build. My Chromecast was working fine until a recent Chromecast update to the 16664 firmware. Unfortunately, I did upgrade the router sometime in the same timeframe, so I don't know which is the ultimate problem. Also, I checked my "efficient multicast forwarding" setting mentioned in the OP, and it was not enabled. I will try that and see if that changes anything.
To be clear, the Chromecast seems to connect to the wireless network, but it looks like the protocol traffic is getting lost since none of the other Chromecast enabled devices on the network can see the Chromecast. To fix it, I've been having to do a factory reset on the Chromecast and go through the setup procedure every time I want to use the Chromecast.
IGMP Snooping allows/tells the router to analyze the IGMP group information of packets and handle them based on that.
This allows for more-intelligent multicast packet forwarding to specific ports rather than flooding all ports.
It's very much akin to how a network switch remembers which addresses are connected to each port and sends packets destined for that address only to that port whereas a network hub will send every incoming packet to all ports, quickly flooding available bandwidth.
Quick example case - say you have two pairs of devices communicating, A->B and C->D, all on 100 Mbps (Fast Ethernet) connection.
On a switch (assuming full switching fabric), A's traffic to B will only go to the port B is on. The same is true for C's traffic to D.
Thus, A->B traffic will have full 100 Mbps bandwidth and C->D traffic will have full 100 Mbps bandwidth (minus overhead, of course).
On a hub, A's traffic to B will still "clog the pipe" on all ports, the same with C's traffic to D.
Thus, instead of A->B having a full 100 Mbps and C->D having a full 100 Mbps, the combined traffic shares 100 Mbps.
If things are equally balanced, A->B gets 50 Mbps and C->D gets 50 Mbps, but in reality this is rarely the case.
You can also think of this like having a dynamically-created VLAN memberships for multicast traffic.
However, the potential downsides are decreased throughput and increased latency for other traffic since some processing time is required to snoop the packets. Also, if the multicast client does not properly register, or router/switch has a bug, the client might get entirely ignored and "miss" the multicast packets entirely. That's why one of the troubleshooting steps is to toggle IGMP Snooping (it's usually disabled by default, but sometimes not) to see if there is an inadvertent shunning going on.
Ok, it looks like I needed to turn TKIP back on for the 2.4GHz network. Once I switched to AES+TKIP, the Chomecast shows up again on my mobile devices.

Interesting situation. I run AES-only but I've seen router "quirks" like this in the past.
On some old routers I had "creeping" configuration issues where after repeated configuration changes the router would eventually lose its mind and I had to reset the configuration and apply settings by hand again. Sometimes in the "lost its mind" configuration it would do very strange things.
Now would be a good time to back up your router configuration, just in case you have an issue like I had in the past.
I have a chromecast running with rt-ac66u router with dd-wrt. if I forget which atm but the chromecast had issue with either tkip or aes. I changed it to the other and it now works flawlessly.

Impossible to Setup

I had 2 Chromecast working just fine for a long time, one in the main network and the other in the second network in a room that is too far from the main router.
Then one day i disabled UPNP for security concerns and soon after I realized chromecast needed it and enabled it again, however i was never able to set up it again
I tried using many phones like Galaxy S4, RAZR D3, iPhone 6, Windows 7 PC, I tried resetting the Chromecast to factory defaults many times without success, then I tried the other Chromecast and reset it to factory defaults and could not set up it either, so the problem is on my network.
My wi-fi settings right now:
11n only, it's 2.4GHz only
Channel Width automatic,
Channel is set to 11,
IGMP proxy disabled,
[WPA2-PSK-CCMP][ESS](from wi-fi analyzer app)AES with 54.000 seconds group key update period,
My password length is 13 with ! and () and numbers
WPS disabled
Mac filtering disabled,
Transmit power high,WMM enabled,
Short GI enabled,
AP isolation disabled,
beacon interval is 50,
RTS threshold is 2304,
fragmentation threshold 2346,
using a DHCP server,
UPNP enabled(again),
SPI firewall is enabled ALG all enabled but SIP ALG,
Forbid ping packet from LAN,
Ignore ping from WAN(tried without this too, so i don't think it is this),
Parental control is disabled,
My router uses google dns by default.
I don't use any VPN
My router is a TP-LINK TL-WR941ND my firmware is up to date(3.15.9 for V5 hardware) it is connected to another modem that just run as a bridge and nat disabled if i remember right i don't think it is a problem it with it and the only options related to IGMP on it is IGMP proxy and chromecast support says it need IGMP enabled + IGMP proxy disabled so how i check out this?
I also tried moving the chromecast to a TV that is right next to my router, still get 'can't see the chromecast on your network',
I also tried to give the chromecast a permanent static ip, and port forward it(virtual servers on my router) 2-65535 UDP and 2-65535 TCP but still setup won't complete, i don't know what more i can do other than just trash this stupid chromecast and back to see all my series on laptop.
Sometimes i'm able to cast my tab from a little time after a failed setup but then soon it will say 'no chromecast found', my pc runs comodo firewall however it was not giving me any problem and i tried to setup it with it disabled.
For the god sake i just want to be able to watch my series again, anyone please help me! If you need any more info just ask it, i can run wireshark and send some prints if this can help too.

Tried today with an Ipad and has able to do the setup and got the screen ready to cast, however i see no ports open in UPNP, and the chromecast app on ipad said it was configured but was not possible to dectect it on my network, and also from time to time the screen would go back to 'connecting to your wi-fi' then go back to 'ready to cast' i was able to cast this table as i write this, will see if it will stay stable and come back.
On my Galaxy S4 GT-i9500 on my chromecast still says no chromecast found for some reason, but i'm able to cast from it, however i seems to get black tabs now when streaming to my chromecast which i don't like, verified the same for my Galaxy S5 , for my Ipad and for my Iphone 6, why????????? I can ping the chromecast too however i had 1% loss of packet on 200 pings in the same room as my router.
You mention you have a main network and a second network. Can you elaborate on how those are connected together?

The main network is the network of the house and the second network is the network of the backyard, but i'm trying to run the chromecast in the main network, and the second is currently off.
The main network is the tp-link router as access point to a TG862 ARRIS in brigde mode, with firewall and nat disabled.
I think my wi-fi settings are all ok right? So why the chromecast can't setup???
I'd try changing wifi channel to 1 or 6. I'm not a network expert but I'd try that.
