Will do and see, thanks!

The factory reset didn't work at all, please what's going on? Why so low?!

I had the sesame result although everything is smooth.
I did the factory reset and the score kept the same!

After odin flashing Lollipop 5.01 firmware I also odin flashed cf-autoroot and twrp recovery
before I made this test. My phone model is a N910T.
Here is the results of my Antutu benchmark test.
Goods luck

The stock Rom is very smooth; yet the results are low. Depending on these images, I think that maybe the root led to bad results in that test without affecting the real performance. In other words, there might be some interference between the app the root, but the ordinance is good in general.

Yes mine scored pretty low. The first time it was I think 50k which is ok. But then it scored below the s5! Been glitchy and stuff. Haven't rooted yet, Waiting till a rom is rebased on the new update but it is slowww I don't know what's going on thought I was the only one. Lol

Or not lol guess just let it settle in.

I am seeing the same 52+ scores but what may be happening if you are trying to do this right after the update is just like people are seeing high battery use, there is a lot going on in the background right after the update. If you do this test while the system is busing doing its thing, you may score lower. If the low score still continues after a day, then a factory reset may be in order. I always plan on a factory reset / clean install for any major update. This applies to my PC's as well.

[Q] M& slowdown - factory reset ?

I'm experiencing some gradual slowdown with my M7 running Viper One 7, to the point where I'm clearing the caches once a week. Seems stoopit.
Since I've flashed prolly 20 ROMs over the last year, I'm thinking that it might be worthwhile to do a factory reset, wipe the SD and all.
If I make a Nandroid with TWRP and use that to start with, wouldn't that actually include any bad gris gris and therefore kind of null the point of doing the factory reset?
Would I be better off, after the factory reset, flashing the ROM and Kernel (EL-X) from scratch and dropping all else from a back-up?
Or am I over thinking this?
Something slowing my M7.
I have 140 apps. No games.
About a dozen of which are running normally, using 785mb of 1.7gb RAM.
And 27.5G of total storage used.
Wtf 140 apps? I got maybe 30.

Hey guys, did you try factory reset after update? Its known that after update from older version there can be some conflict and system could not work as it should.

Okay. What i would do if i had some problem is that i would factory reset again, than immediately after that flash B317 full zip update again to make sure the update delete all system files from old version and replace them with new ones. There is nothing more to suggest, me personally did it this way from begining because i was aware of some complications, and im pretty happy with it. Battery drain is much lower than Lollipop had, UI is lag free now even i think its not final version of marshmallow because there are still some noticeable bugs with email notifications, sometimes unstable etc.

Time to ask for help....

Good day everyone
I purchased a used Note 4 N910T, which came with 5.1.1 installed from T-Mobile.
I proceeded to root it following a guide in the forum, with success. I then accidently flashed 4.4.4 over it and now, as you've guessed, it's borked.
To make matters worse, I wiped EVERYTHING in Twrp in my sleepy stuper, so no backup, etc.
About all that I can do is get into Download mode, and Odin. Trying to enter Recovery mode just gets me Download mode.
Is there hope? May I please get some assistance?
Thank you
Odin stock 5.1.1. You should be back at that point.

I have tried several times to no avail. Could you perhaps point me to the correct one, just to be sure?
And thank you.
I go to sammobile.com then look up my phone and DL the latest stock. Maybe someone else can point you in the right direction if that doesn't work. I do know that others have been in your position and fixed it with little issue. Might want to search the threads.

What was it on before you installed 4.4.4. If you weren't on DOK2 then make sure you absolutely no way under any circumstance flash DOK2.

It was on DOK2 I believe with 5.1.1.
I have tried the official 5.1.1 several time but it starts right off with, "Could not find 'META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary' in the zip file....." and stops.
Since I wiped everything, do I need to install the baseband and Bootloader first? If so which ones?
I was able to finally install TWRP. Yay. Baby steps.
Thank you, both. Your help is much appreciated.

Odin. Several different versions. No luck.
I finally gave up on stock and installed (flashed) another TW ROM (Maximum OvrDrive 3.1). Everything is fine now. Odd.....
Happy (though confused) camper.

Possible to go back to 4.4.4 from 6.0.1?

As the title says is that even possible for the Note 4 ? I know sounds crazy but I want to know if it is possible. If it is, how? Please help ::fingers-crossed:
With my 910F it was possible. Thank God! Marshmallow looks like ****.. Maybe it's smoother than kitkat but the look and battery time wasnt as good as with kitkat.
To your question : download a kitkat firmware and simply flash it with Odin. Done and easy.

Actually I just saved my whatsapp folder to ext. SD card. Then I did a reset via stock recovery. But now I use a custom recovery to perform full backups . But you can install this after you did your downgrade.
You can downgrade from android 6.0.1 to 4.4.4 just flash old bootloader for android 4.4.4 and modem then flash the rom.

First I flashed lollipop 5.0.1 , then left the device for booting up and it dint booted ,cause i hadn't factory resetted my device, so after a factory reset it did booted up.
Then i flashed 4.4.4 and factory reset the device and it booted up properly.

I used exactly the same firmware to downgrade from 6.0.1. And, of course a correct modem and bootloader. At first i flashed the modem and bootloader, using Odin 3.09, after reboot i pulled out the battery immediately. After putting back the battery, I switched the phone to download mode, and flashed the 4.4.4 firmware. Worked flawlessly. :good:
