got it from a friend who bought it new tried to unlock the bootloader and screwed up in the middle of the process.
now it's stuck in a loop won't boot just shows Sony logo on the screen. Turns off and turns on fine, charges ok, boots into CWM recovery by pressing power and volume keys shows that it's missing some root files in the recovery.
any thoughts?
If you can boot it in download mode, just use flashify to flash factory system, and then start unlocking again

i can't get into recovery or anything!!
SOLUTION
held down power and volume buttons then entered flash mode, flash tool seems to be flashing the data now
so I unrooted and went back to stock and went to relock the boot loader, now my screen the little android guy with the thing spinning in the belly, and if i hit volume up screen goes blank and it says in very small print formatting / data .... at the bottom. i can't reboot....if i hold power and volume rocker i get the google screen and goes back into this....am i #@[email protected]$##$?????
Ok....issue resolved...i was able to get it into boot loader mode, and once in boot loader i used tool kit to flash stock and unroot (boot loop mode). once i booted up normally, i used toolkit again to fast boot format user data because the internal storage thing was all wonky....i am back up, unrooted, locked.....so i can see what Verizon does tomorrow when the 6 supposedly goes live....we shall see....
Hello people,
I have an issue with my Phone (i9305) which came to exist doing a factory reset in the normal settings menu (not in recovery).
I rebooted in TWRP recovery, but it's stuck in boot (screen flashes "TEAMWIN" screen over and over)
I wanted to redo the TWRP using Odin3, but it doesn't reconize the phone.
I did find a helpfull post here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1974160&page=3 (top post, #21), but the boot with dubbel volume buttons doesn't do anything different for me (other device thing maybe, or what buttons do I all need to press, when to release??).
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get TWRP running normally again so I am not stuck with a brick?
Any help will be appreciated!

Buddy its just a soft brick ...!! You can go to recovery if you do everything correctly
Follow these steps..!!
1. Turn off your phone by press and holding power button until you see you device is turned off
2. Or at the boot animation also you can go to recovery by press and holding power and vol down until you see black screen and wait 4 sec after you see black screen and release the buttons the you Will go to fastboot mode and hit recovery in fastboot and wipe data and still if you u get boot loop go to fastboot, and flash stock lollipop And then flash any cm 12.1 based ROM you won't get any kinda problems now ...!!!! ?
Hello,
While trying to unlock and root, I bricked the phone - as in its just staying at the Sony Xperia boot screen. Its still responding to Vol up+Power button to restart. The notification light turns red then green when using Vol down + attach USB.
This is what happened
1) Unlocked and Rooted the device, installed TWRP
2) Took back-up with TWRP
3) While wiping cache, system, etc. to prepare for installing custom ROM, also selected Internal Storage: and chose wipe and restart
Now phone is stuck at the Boot screen, tried the following
- Flashtool: Can install new kernel, but giving error when trying to install stock firmware
- ADB: Doesnt show up in the list with "adb Devices" command
- Sony Companion: Get stuck during software repair on the boot screen. On pressing Vol up+Power, the notification light turns on and stays blue.
- Sony EMMA: Recognises IMEI but says the phone is locked
Is there anyway to sideload TWRP or any other options of flashing stock firmware?
Many thanks in advance.
With Flashtool, Are you try to flash 4.4.4 stock firmware?
Thanks. It worked. Also realized that had to unlock again using flashtool
