Flashing TWRP Update In Recovery - Verizon LG G2

Hey guys
I have an LG G2 Verizon that had TWRP 2.7.0.0 on it and I would like to update it. If I download the new 2.8.6.0 build, am I able to just flash the new image in my old recovery or do I have to do it through the TWRP Manager app? Thanks in advanced.

If you downloaded the new bumped TWRP, you can either flash it in recovery or extract the .img from the recovery zip file and flash it in Flashify or something

Thanks a lot. You solved me a lot of headache.

[Q] SuperSU

I have twrp recovery on my Sprint HTC One Max and I cannot find a working SuperSu zip that will root my phone from TWRP recovery. I have tried to install while booted in to my Stock rom (no go); SuperUser appears to only CWMod recovery not on mine. I have tried to install Update-SuperSU-1.94 also to no avail....someone please help me find a SuperSU zip that I have purchased the pro for.
Thank in advance.
You flash the SuperSU.zip from recovery

Latest TWRP?

Guys, what would be the latest TWRP for our SM-G920T, and where would I find an Odin-flashable TWRP file? (Somehow I do not trust TWRP Manager with the task of flashing TWRP.)
Just in case it matters, I am currently rooted on the latest DOI1 FW.

Thank you! One of the things that I find irritating about TWRP Manager is that it asks me to confirm/verify the partition where TWRP gets flashed to. Now how can I possibly know if dev/block/platform/15570000.ufs/by-name/RECOVERY is the right place for my device? (Is it?) The second thing that bothers me about TWRP Manager is that it doesn't correctly detect the latest TWRP version, and often it offers to install an older version.
Did twrp-2.8.7.2-zeroflte.img.tar work for you?
After updating to DOI1, I get boot loops after trying to flash TWRP.
I can get into recovery and download mode just fine, but it won't boot to the OS.

I bit the bullet eventually (sesing as flashing TWRP via ODIN is a PITA), and flashed TWRP using TWRP Manager. I got an error message upon flashing, though it looks like TWRP flashed just fine. (Go figure!) Anyway, TWRP Manager flashes TWRP 2.8.7.1. It may be that TWRP people didn't consider TWRP 2.8.7.2 safe enough to flash, which is why TWRP Manager doesn't offer the option. That may be your explanation for your troubles.

Unable to flash TWRP after with OOS 4.0.2

I flashed TWRP with succes according to cmd. But when booting to recovery it gives me the stock recovery. I had the same problem with my OPX. Someone on here said that MM had a new bootloader so i had a TWRP that was compatible with that bootloader. Is this the same for OP3T? If so can anyone link this

flash twrp 3.0.4.0 (in OP3 forums, now unified), from fastboot boot immediately to recovery it should boot TWRP, flash SuperSU or similar (or kernel that will rename stock recovery) to keep TWRP, reboot recovery from TWRP to check it works, reboot to system and profit.
if you don't root, stock recovery will keep coming back.

Help flashing latest TWRP

I'm creating this thread since I can't post in the official TWRP thread yet and I couldn't find an answer there.
I've downloaded the latest recovery img (3.0.2-4) from the TeamWin site and it's only 7 kb, is this the right file size? Cause I flashed it using TWRP 3.0.2-3 and after rebooting, it wouldn't start the recovery. I had to reflash 3.0.2-3 via adb, and I noticed that 3.0.2-3 file size is like 8 mb. What could be wrong?
Thanks in advance!
The Correct Size of 3.0.2-4 TWRP is 7.9MB Download TWRP 3.0.2-4
You Can Flash the TWRP via Fastboot or TWRP App Play Store Link
Your Phone Must be Root if you are using TWRP APP .
