Gravity Box for Xposed - Nexus 6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone know if Gravity Box for Xposed will ever work for us? I have only found a few modules that work and would like to use Gravity Box.

It used to work on 5.0, but has issues with 5.1 . There is a lot of modules that don't work properly on 5.1 apparently. http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/discussion-xposed-modules-5-1-lolipop-t3075257 <- There is a list of ones that work and don't.
There is also a Google Doc that has a list of ones that work and don't.
I would assume they are working on getting it to work with 5.1, but no clue what sort of progress they are making.

Are you rooted? If so, gravity box should have that option

You should give it a try. I use it for additional setting for the notification pull down and screenshot. I'm using it on my
Phone too and I love it.

Just like tasker, once you start using xposed (and gb) you'll wonder how you ever lived without it

i have been using Xposed for some time and love it especially Greenify and Wanam. i did setup screenshot with GB and that is really nice that it is right there for any screen with the power menu. i was tired of taking pictures of my watch
Tasker i have been watching since its launch on Play but with limited time between work, kids, electronic addiction i just never spent the time to get into it. your BT auto connect is going to push me into understanding it.
thanks

gravity box working 100%

Just got it working. Had to google the .apk file for xpsoed installer and gravity box. I can now tweak my s5 with no issues. Root is required of course

be careful on giving people wrong expectations. Gravity box does not work 100%, must stuff does, but still not 100%, for ex. clock size, AM/PM hide/size is not working.
Everyone needs to be extremely careful about using things that arent made specifically for our devcie.. with no custom recovery available anyone can seriously screw up their device with unsupported xposed modules. I would not recommend this at all.
i recommend using wanam xposed over gravitybox. it is specifically made for touchwiz and supports the s5.
Doesn't work for me at all. It just force closes on me.

I would not recommend this either. Gravity box is more for AOSP devices

I agree with freebee
Wanam Xposed (NOT WANAM KIT/ ANY OTHER WANAM MODULE) is probably the most compatible for the S5, as it it built with touchwiz. Even with that, however, not everything works. Lockscreen mods don't work, some theming things don't work, and sms mms settings are not stable.

Texting Problems After Activating XPosed?

I just rooted my phone with Towelroot (all hail Geohot) and installed the XPosed framework. Everything seemed to work fine until I activated the first couple modules (Rootcloak and Wanam) and then texts stopped sending from my phone. Worked fine after just rooting and fine once i disabled the modules, so it's probably something having to do with the installed modules.
Anyone else run into this issue?

i have both of those modules on my phone and texting is working fine. i know this doesnt help your particular phone, just wanted to say that those together do work with no texting problems.
Had a similar issue yesterday with mms. Thought it was xposed but it turned out to be Adblock blocking port 80.

Interesting, I'll disable adblock and see if that helps.
Any way to keep ab from blocking that port?

You were absolutely right, that did it.
Glad to see it, I wanted Wanam and Root Cloak more than ab

ATT Note 3 Stock, Rooted with towel, Xposed install?

hi,
hopefully someone gives some light on this question. I heard that installing xposed framework (on rooted Stock) cuasing wifi stop working, and some other issues...I dont know where I read it, but please let me know if installing xposed is all good.
I have my note 3 rooted and have Xposed installed for two weeks now; haven't seen any issues so far, no wifi issues or anything. Running awesome.

Any source on where you heard that?
I've not had Xposed cause any problems with any features of the phone.
Perhaps whoever brought up the problem had troubles caused by a certain module?
Xposed itself works just fine though.

Modifications - Nexus 6

Question what is a good alternative to add customizations to my ROM. I use to use exposed but don't think it works on the nexus6. If I am wrong about exposed working please let me know if there is a special way to install it.
Sent from my Nexus 6 using XDA Free mobile app
exposed does not work on art, period. android 5.0 brings art to our devices, by default. whatever modifications you would like to make to your nexus 6 has to be a "real" modification that you can do to n6.
Well for starters I want to add the exchange block. Led notification and others. Is there a program like xposed with a repository of mods like xposed?

The LED mod can be added with a kernel along with DT2W, you can also use lightflow free to enable the LEDS using mixer mode to set notification lights e.c.t
Check the lighg flow instructions in its thread or one of the many how to guids online.
