can someone help me with this please?
for some reason, my Tilt alarms at 8:10 and 8:15pm every night
the alarms are not set for this time. I first noticed this when I changed the time to daylights saving
has anyone else had weird thing like this?
or is there something I am missing here? and how can i fix it?
thanks so much in advance!
I got the same problem PLUS i have two extra alarms that go off at 6pm and 630pm even though I dont have my alarms set at that time!
I'm glad I'm not the only one!!! I thought I was going crazy. The only added info I can give is that I set an alarm last Saturday night for Sunday morning - DST change weekend. I set it for 7am - thinking the clock would change time overnight (it did) and alarm me at 7am NEW time.
I got an alarm at 6am (new time) and again at 7 (the one that was actually set). All week since, it's been going off every morning at 6am. I've disabled ALL alarms, and it still goes off. I've tried changing the time to 5:59am, and letting it tick through 6am - it will not go off then.
If anyone has any answers, I'd be much obliged to hear them - before tomorrow at 6am

Sounds like there are extra notifications in the notifications queue. I had a similar problem on my 8125 once. Get Memmaid (the trial should work just fine) and do a memory cleaning and go into the notifications queue and delete all duplicates. If that does not solve it, look in the queue and look for an alarm at 6am and delete it. That should take care of it I think. Good luck.
interesting program thanks for the tip! I did a memory cleaning and then went into the notification queue. I couldn't find a 6am (or anything that resembled that) entry, but I did select "time based", "classic time based" and "event based" and asked it to "rebuild notification queue" - I'll let you know sometime after 6am tomorrow if it worked. Thanks again!
Windows Alarm
I gave up on Windows Alarm a long time ago. I now use G-Alarm. Its a very good program and its free. If your having issues with your alarm use G-Alarm.

That'd be fine if I could get rid of the CURRENT alarms
Clearing the Clocks
Try SKTools. It can clear the alarm cache. Also G-Alarm fixes the Windows Alarm bug. and in the options can override the windows alarm system. Give it a shot.
Have you checked to see if there are any appointments saved that reoccur on your pc that transferred when you sync ? I know that if you set a scheduled appointment, you will also get an alarm as a reminder.
I personally use Chronos for an alarm, but this (and a few other posts ;-) ) are off topic what the OP is asking.
It *has* to be in the notifications, so look through them carefully.
as far as i can tell
there are only 3 spots for alarms...and there are no other notifications or reminders for anything else, especially not for the same time every freaking day at that same time
its killing me slowly inside...

I downloaded Memmaid. I did the memory cleaning like you suggested and that fixed it. I'm no longer awakened at 6am. THANK YOU! I looked in the notification queue but couldn't find duplicates of anything... but the cleaning bit seems to have fixed it. Thanks again!
So I have been using my phones as an alarm clock for many many years now. I do it the same way every night. I go into the alarms and change the time and press save. BUT with my 2.2 update, instead of saving for the next day, it saves the alarm as that time but a week away. Its like the day counter doesn't move. I almost missed class this morning because I forgot to move the day I needed the alarm for so I woke up to no alarm 10 minutes before class and seeing my alarm set for next Tuesday.
Anyway...am I missing something?? Or is this a but that others have noticed. It is hard to remember to set the day when I have never had to do this before.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
Same with me, seems the clock got messed up with 2.2. The day doesn't change when I choose the alarm. Also, it's happened before where I have the right day (it says alarm will go off in 8hrs etc.) but when I wake up the alarm is still set, but now for 7 days from now... It is very annoying, and I can't rely on it now.
So when you created the alarm, did you set the alarm repeat to be daily? Just a thought otherwise the default is a one-time event and when you resave it will bump a week.
i dont want it as a daily alarm...if i go in and set the alarm time, and press save, it should update the day also. It has been that way for years of setting alarms on many different phones, and now that i updated to 2.2 it doesn't update the day. Why would i want to set an alarm for a week away? haha
You don't make it active on the days you don't want it. A one-time event sees that the time is past and makes it a week later. Don't ask me, complain to the coder. lol

a one time alarm on 2.1 worked perfect and exactly as expected. I shouldn't have to make a new one-time alarm OR change the day OR set it as a daily. I wake up at different times almost everyday. No offense, but i don't need instructions on how to set up my alarm!
i know how it works and how it should work, i'm asking if anyone else is having the problem.
I dont have this problem.
I do have a related problem. Its called a job. And I use my phone as my alarm to wake up every weekday morning at the same time. my alarm works great. Since I do not use it for a one-time alarm, it must have something to do with that.

cool man
Here's a description of the change:
On 2.1, clicking on a past "one time alarm" would change the day automatically to the following day, so the alarm worked for the morning you activated it on.
On 2.2, clicking on a past "one time alarm" won't change the day automatically to the following day, so the alarms' day must be set manually for the next morning.
Anyways, does someone have the 2.1 clock apk that they can upload here that we could try, and see if that's the problem?
This does not seem to be an across the board issue. Im one that does not have the issue.

I flashed back to JH7 today. Posted for your amusement!
Ehh, the 2.1 Clock doesn't work with 2.2 from just replacing it, oh well... Maybe they'll fix it with the final build.

Figured as much, system apps have to be different. Worth a try!
Guys got a strange problem, wonder if anyone could help. Every morning at exactly 5.00 am for the last week my xperia sounds a bleep for 30 second. I have no alarms set and the beep sound it not and of my default sounds. There is no notification or anything on the screen to accompany the alarm. I am running Clock plus in Daydream at night with the phone in a charging dock, stock ROM.
Did a factory reset and restore yesterday - and at 5.00 am this morning exactly the same thing happened. Any ideas ? Is there at system log I can check on a non-rooted 10.4.1.B.0.101?
Try uninstalling Clock plus daydream and see if it still happens. That's all I can suggest.

No, no timers running and its nothing to with Clock plus. With try minus Daydream tonight - if I reset the phones clock to force the alarm nothing happens but it still occurs every real 5.00 am.

I have the same problem on my iPhone 5. Every morning the phone alarmed at 8:15 for several seconds. I found the alarm comes from a new app I download. So I deleted it , the problem was solved. You can check the websites or apps you used recently.
This is getting crazy. Factory reset, no non stock apps installed and it still happens every morning. I have also realised the sound - a triple beep stop triple bleep that goes on for 20-30 seconds is not any of the tones/alarms/notifications available on the phone.
This problem sound odd as hell, just as odd as the fact your account is from bloody 2006 and you haven't posted until now, lol. That's 8 years, man :|
Sorry for useless post.

That's because I search before I ask, so far never had any need to ask !
This is a long shot, but are you entirely sure you don't have an alarm clock hidden away somewhere in a bedside drawer or something? That triple beep sounds like it could be a normal alarm clock.
Or one of your friends pulling your leg and hidden an alarm clock under your bed, perhaps?
can you show me the screenshots of the apps currently running.
go to settings->apps->swipe left select cached procsses/and running processes both and post a screenshot here i think that should point us to a particular app..waiting for your reply...
I had been waiting with bated breath for the Marshmallow update to arrive, mainly because of the expected addition of the "Until next alarm" setting to the "Do not disturb" feature, but woe to me, no such luck! "Do not disturb" doesn't seem to have changed at all from Lollipop, and there is no "Until next alarm" option to be seen anywhere. What's going on, T-Mobile and Samsung? I have a really hard time using my alarm clock without this feature. Every once in a while, I forget to disable "Do not disturb" after I get up and then walk around half a day incommunicado, wondering why no one calls me. This is ridiculous! Doesn't T-Mobile realize how freakin' important this feature is to people?
Does anyone know anything about this issue?
No reason to walk around with it in at day. You can set up your days and times.

Thanks, I am aware of this option and have already started using it, but it is terribly inefficient, as it requires me to go through about 20 clicks EVERY SINGLE night just to set up the alarm and the Do Not Disturb mode for the next day. And it is impossible for me to set it up in advance for every day of the week, as the time I go to bed and get up is never the same day to day. With the Until Next Alarm option, it takes only two clicks to activate Do Not Disturb.
Best Regards...
I set mine up once, checked the box "Turn on as scheduled"and never had to touch it again. Once 10pm, on the days I set up, hits the Do Not Disturb automatically turns on. Then at 7am it automatically goes off.

I never touch my Do Not Disturb. I use AlarmDroid for my alarm clock. It makes me do maths to turn it off in the morning. Annoying, but effective.

Hi all,
Just bought a 45mm watch3 , everything seems to be working except for sleep tracking. Do i need anything else to be set? HR, Stress and Oxygen are all working well. As well as motion.
Thanks in advance.

Sleep tracking is enabled by default in health app in watch by default unless it's been turned off. Please check in the health app. Did you restored the watch from any old watch?

What do you mean by "Sleep as Android". Are you talking about Samsung Health App in phone? It doesn't have any relationship to the Watch. The phone determines the time of your sleep and wake up based on the phone usage pattern.

Third party app, records how you sleep using the same method as samsung health.
But even if i manually enter sleep into samsung health sleep, it doesn't show on the watch . Everything else is syncing, steps , stress , heartrate ect sync almost instantly. But watch since Thursday says no sleep recorded.

Its not correct if updating the Samsung Health App in phone to update the watch data. So, adding sleep data in phone will not show up in the watch. It could be the way you sleep or strap is not fasten correctly. Whatever reason is, if I was you, I will be replacing it straight away.

I had my sleep tracking suddenly stopped working on my GW3 also. Is your watch still tracking your heart rate? Mine had for some reason stop taking my heart rate every 10 mins and that affected the sleep tracking. I switch it to continuous heart rate tracking then back to 10 min and sleep tracking works now.
So check and see if your watch is keeping track of your heart rate

It was still checking the heartrate, but i switched to continuous and back to 10 minutes again see if it works.
Seems to be working now.
I dont know if its because i updated the phone firmware to BTJ3 new build or because i installed Samsung Health Monitor on Watch and Phone as per thread in this forum.
Ok spoke to soon, it stopped again.
How has everyone got their phone / watch set up?
Does anything stop it like DND or something?
Has to be a setting issue as all other sensors work and this sleep did 3 times .

Something weird it took like all day to register sleep from the morning, theres some kind of delay between apps or something.
Weird sleep as android works ok. Then i notice that sleep tracker started tracking but not for a complete night. If i get up for the toilet then go back to sleep it stops. Then i was woken by a courier delivery at 7am, got back to bed, damn thing started tracking again. It seems very intermitent.
