Dead pixels - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6

Just discovered a dead pixel this morning in the middle of my screen or at least a cluster of them. Anyone else have this issue? If so any luck with getting a replacement?

[Q] Dead pixels

Do you have any dead pixels, because i spotted about 4 in my opb, three are nearly visible. I wanted to know do you have some experience in fixing these kind of problems and does a guarantee cover it up?
You can't fix the dead pixels. You need to replace the display. I think guarantee cover dead pixels problems, and in your case, 4 dead pixels . Good luck!
I bought mi o.b. and i spotted in the dirst night a dead pixel, they cahenged the phone right away, and i live in Romania..
yeah, above is best advice, but if it's a SH, phone, from my experience you can unblock dead pixels ....
On tv and monitors, a gentle massage gets things going sometimes.. too bad that on phones screen is protected under a glass sheet!
I have one bad pixel too. It is visible at white screen.

[Q] Someone shot through my display (dead pixels)

Hello all,
it looks like someone shot through my display. Suddenly it has some dead pixels,
arranged in a circle. This happend after a 40 centimeter drop down. The phone was
saved by a very thick bag, named 'airbag'. So I did not expect that anything happened
to the phone.
Searching this forum brought up that this could be 'Newton rings'. But in my case it
does not look like it has anything to do with the digitizer. It works like usual. Anyway,
I tried out the suggested trick to freeze it. It was frozen for 36 hours. But it had
almost no effect. The pixels are just a bit more spread over the screen. They are still
black, did not get brighter or change to gray.
Has anyone an idea what happened and how I can fix it?
Thanks in advance
Try waiting for 2 days, fixed it for mine.
I have the same problem, my phone felt almost a meter down some months ago and I got some dead pixels. And the freaking htc service here in greece sucks, so I haven't fixed it yet
guys tell me, what is this "freezing trick" you're talking about?

Anyone Know How to Fix the Dead Pixels on the Nexus 7.

I got mind and the pixels aren't dead but extremely discolored like a Yellow Green throw up color on half the screen anyway to fix it or should I just exchange?
As well can I return to a local store or do I have to send back to Google.
I ordered with Google.
Just return it. I have a dead pixel and I'm exchanging it. You have 15 days to do so.

Just wondering, isn't it terrible difficult to notice the state of one pixel on a 1080p 4.7" display? Isn't it a group of pixels?
I opened up a brand new 32gb T-Mobile M7 and saw these marks, not sure if dead or stuck pixels as they only show with light colors (most prevalent in white)
It's the pair of dots that almost look like a distant light reflection, bottom right corner of the screen, each cluster is nearly a mm in dia
They almost look like nicks in the between the touch panel and lcd
When i got the phone 3 weeks ago i noticed one green pixel on the screen cursed my luck and promptly forgot about it. I only remembered last week and checked and its gone. So it obviously wasn't "dead" at all just stuck. I never ran any program to get rid of it or anything
I went through twelve units (not only because of screen issues) and for me one thing is certain: There is no ONE without pixel defects. Just depends on your surroundings if you see them and how closely you're gonna look for them. This one has four green ones visible on black backgrounds. If you watch closely you can see the area around them flickering in every color. But I keep it since it's the best one and those pixels are rarely ever visible under normal circumstances.
I bet mine has also dead pixels. But take a look at the pixel density, what would a dead pixel matter?

I was just as pessimistic as you, regarding getting a screen with no pixel defects. Fortunately, I did swap my One out and this one has zero stuck or dead pixels (used a pixel testing app in complete dark -- believe I'm OCD and looked extremely close to the point that my GF was questioning my sanity). So getting a good panel is, indeed, possible.
BUT, this handset does have a hot pixel on the camera sensor. Go figure...

[Q]Is this mark under the edge screen a big problem?

anyone have this issue with their s6 edge?i recently noticed a reddish color or cable under the edge screen above the power button. Should i be concerned or return my phone possibly for a new one?
I'd return it, mine doesn't look like that........
I feel your pain. I discovered a dead pixel an hour after getting mine yesterday. Barely noticeable but I'm probably going to go back to best buy and swap it.
