[Q] CM 12.1 Goodies in Mokee 5.1.1 Nightlies - Mi 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Mokee 5.1.1 for Mi3 Cancro is having a very good daily update facility. But it lacks something that CM 12.1 (@Bitti09) has-
If the devs can include the features like
a) USB OTG storage unload
b) Rotation of the Lockscreen fixes.
c)unlocking from the Lock button takes to the last opened app on screen
then it will be great!!! Can anyone help in this regards?

Mokee Nightly Build 13/05/2015 solved one bug raised by me-
Project: device/xiaomi/cancro
• martincz - cancro: Really go to sleep (don't doze) when user short presses the power button.
Hi @martincz, Could you please make the other changes also in Mokee nightlies for Cancro like USB OTG release (unload) and Lockscreen Rotation fixes for Cancro(Mi3W)??
You can look at @Bitti09 github
https://github.com/CM-Cancro
Also Ivan Updated the sources

Yup but just one small commit, but as I see on Ivan github he updated kernel for 5.1.1 on Mi2/s, so maybe tomorrow we will have his complete sources for Mi3/4 lollipop.

Is there any cm11 roms un-buggy?

Hello to all devs! I am asking this because i see that cm 11 developing is more and more growing. I couldn't keep up with the dev of cm11 unofficial for personal reasons, so i am asking if someone could give me a heads up. I remember that oficial cyanogen rom kept the old blobs and our devs, were using new blobs. But after that there is only chaos... Could someone please tell me what is the point we are now?? What works to what rom, and what is buggy? I do not want to know what rom is better or personal opinions. Just the facts. Thank you!!!
Sent from my LG-P880 using Tapatalk
its simple all unofficial roms using p880-dev sources (unofficial) and all official releases are based on "official" CM11 sources
unofficial ones are based on grouper blobs but there was a problem with camera so @Adam77Root made a little hack to get it work. So now camera is working ( little bit buggy) video rec is not working till Adam end his hack, but screenrecording is working here and not on official. overall IMO grouper blobs seems to give a smoothier experience than official ones, and they can give us hope to bring future releases of android on our p880.
there was also many many other thingsXD

[Q] Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta 1 Camera Problem

I have been using the CM11 and the PA builds and liked the PA build more. The unofficial pa build is updated to 4.4.4 so I can use it anytime I want it. But I can't use the PA build as it still has the camera bug. The camera still cannot record in 1080p( able to record via opencamera app, since it has an ugly ui, I don't use it ).
The thing is that the camera is now fixed and can record in 1080p though it as not been fixed on the PA build. The OP, I think, is busy and is hence not replying. All other roms, PACman, DU, SlimKat, CarbonRom(unofficial) and CM11 have the camera fixed in their latest and updated builds. Can anyone help me fix the camera on PA ? I really like PA a lot because of its simplicity and hover. I tried replacing the camera2.apk from system/app but after a reboot, the default camera app disappeared from the app drawer and the settings. I really want to use PA even though it does not have the new android L recents and DSB.
I posted this thread after asking in CM11, CarbonRom and PA threads. I also posted in the G+ Moto X community but nobody could help me.
I hope someone can help me use stable PA on my X and also lt others use it. Thanks for your time and Happy Flashing
P.S. : I am on stock 4.4.4 (XT1052)

Index of all Lollipop Builds for P880

Our devs and their work on Lollipop made a lot of progress in the last weeks. We got a few good working Roms! So i decided to make an Index with all Lollipop Based Roms for our beloved LG P880/X3.
First of all, which ROMs are included here? Well, I just searched and chose the active threads (even if the ROM doesn’t have any recent updates, the thread should at least remain active, with constant feedback from users and devs) but this isn't a must. But for no activity in the thread for atleast two months will not be listed in the NEW Repository. Please remember, the most important thing is to read the thread of the ROM that you choose, take a look at the benefits, user reviews, bugs, FAQ, etc. And then, flash it. Of course all the feedback is welcome, if you see some wrong information or want to see a ROM added/removed, you can post a reply in this thread or send me a PM.
The Roms are ranked by their release date

@fritzcola thanks for this index. I'm getting audio setup fixed for my g2 builds. Fixing an issue with d800 being too high, but as I just told you, hopefully after I test tonight's build, I'll be able to sync up and work on p880 a bit more. I'm glad to hear you guys have been able to get nfc working as well. Thanks to all users for their patience and feedback, as well as all of the other devs for their work... because my main priority has been on the G2's. Great work to all!

Thank you for this ROM, I was waiting for it for 5 years
Aren't you the first person to port 6.0 for Xperia Z?
@up For yuga? Yes. But for pollux qsnc started to doing something with it. But it's first nearly stable 6.0 rom for fusion3 platform
And what about download links?
Yay! It's a shame that i've got only one Xperia Z
@UP
Download tab.
Morning surprise for me! Thank you Kamarush!

Do a factory reset. I've saw that you have problem with 5.1 too, maybe you have changed partition file formats. Easily, flash stock from flashtool and then fastboot every file of this or 5.1 rom.
Can somebody send me a link to download?

On top is a download tab, just click on it
@kamarush If selinux cause so many problems, it cannot be disabled (permissive)? I think it'll help in fixing things

Thanks mate
Hi, may I ask where I can find your kernel source for m build?
NFC fixed.
It was commented out.... Found this in source:
Code:
# !!! Intentionally commented out, we'll stop building
# the NXP stack in M, code will be removed in the
# next release.
# include $(BUILD_SHARED_LIBRARY)
# !!!
Thank you Google
So, incall audio and camera remains.
How to install gapps or recovery?
Thanks!

I think it's completely unneeded. This is an alpha release. When i fix the incall audio, i'll push it to Beta and both will be included.
I'm waiting for beta then! And i can't wait for it

[MM]Found RR 5.6.4 Unofficial build

Hi Xda Developers
i found unofficial build of Resurrection Remix 5.6.4 marshmallow but can't post official thread cause i haven't tried or test it or have any changelog or source , bla bla
due to my phone in sony supporting center i can't test it but if any one want to test it and report if camera work and if there some bugs
i'm sorry if put it in wrong section but this for discussing
Download
Sorry again
note: another build found now but aicp u can found it on android file host by search for Honami
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...-resurrection-remix-lollipop-t2996238/page116
Yes, I found AICP, CM 13, Vanir MM and that RR MM, more Marshmallow roms are coming
with some fixes on SELinux may be data work but
the real problem in camera blobs
some builds of AOKP fixed it but it's laggy i hope the next builds will be more stable but
i want to ask .... is AOKP ready for daily use or for dev only now
@DectonX Aokp is just missing camera. So if you never use your camera, so you can flash this ROM I think it can be used as daily ROM. And trying and reporting bugs are free. So you can try and see
@benplay i hear that some devs send on github that fixed it but it laggy
as you i installed crDroid but i faced battery problems (high Drain)
so i wait for aokp to be very stable, i don't care the camera at this time
