Phone updated to Lollipop 5.0 Unknown Baseband - AT&T Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey Guys,
I was running NC2 stock for all of 2 days and while I was sleeping (screw you AT&T) my phone updated to lollipop 5.0. Now I've got unknown baseband.... Is there a Odin flashable modem file that would work? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Only ones I seen but no OC1 modem. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2698464 In case you want to flash the OC1 CP file, [100% Stock] Lollipop 5.0 (N900AUCUEOC1) Odin Tars http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-att/general/100-stock-lollipop-5-0-n900aucueoc1-t3069609

S4 active need to upgrade to 5.0.1

hello...
please give me some help..
I am beginner on android, flashing and so on...
I have an S4 active, with 4.4.2 with Baseband version "I9295XXUCNI1".
I want to install the 5.0.1 version, but on sammobile, the only version available for "I9295XXUCNI1" is 4.4.2.
There is 5.0.1 available with PDA I9295XXUDOD3 and CSC I9295XXUDOD1..
Is it safe to install that room?

Yes, you can install nearly any of the firmwares from the sammobile site. If you're asking which firmware would be the best to flash to your device, it depends where you are located. The NI1 firmware is available for several different countries, so I would flash the firmware for your region, it should be optimized to best work on your networks.
update: I installed the DOD3... it worked!!

Do I have to unroot it first or I can install the new official firmware over it?
I have downloaded the 5.0.1 firmware....

When you flash the firmware through Odin it will completely wipe the device, it doesn't matter if you're rooted or not.
thank you
but what if the S4 is locked to orange carrier?
The firmware I have downloaded is carrier free...
is there any problem?
I am afraid of bricking the phone.... I understood the root will not be a problem, but I am afraid of the lock carrier.... the baseband is not the same as the one installed on the phone now

Are you saying you successfully downgraded from unrooted OF3 and were then able to achieve root? This is pretty important information for a bunch of people here. Have you posted about it before? Link?

yes i have sucessfully dowgraded from of4 and of3 to oe2 to achive root, what i normally do is if i am on OF4 firmware i flash OE2 full firmware through odin except i will load OF4 modem on the cp(modem) box and flash it , like if iam on OE3 firmware i flash OE2 full firmware through odin except i will load OF3 modem on the cp(modem) box and flash it

Could you elaborate on this for a newbie? Alot of us are trying to root our OF3 S6's.

Same here. Wondering if it is truly as simple as a couple Odin flashes as you suggest.
Basically, you say flash full OE2 firmware, then follow by OF4 modem only, then root as if OE2?

Just tried it but odin fails at boot.img

I got the N910T. Can I use any baseband?

I have the T-mobile N190T Note 4 when it first came out and I bought it the first week of it.
Can I flash any baseband on it as long as it is for T-mobile? Can I use COG2 or any others?

My N910T is currently on COG2 baseband, bootloader and rom which I got by ODIN flashing. In dev forum, I saw people upgrading from COG2 to DOK2 (latest) by flashing DOK2 baseband and bootloader, then flash DOK2 based custom ROMs and they worked for them. So I think you can try the same to see. Hope that helps.

AT&T SM-G900A S5 firmware flashing issues

Hello. I am looking for stock KitKat firmware for my S5 but the files I have found on the Interwebz end up failing when I try to extract the AP .tar.md5 file. Does anyone have any knowledge of a working stock firmware file for my phone?
