Well, first, you shouldn't start a new thread, this is development forum. Place your questions to related thread, rom - kernel - modem - recovery - etc, next time.
I see you are using touchwiz rom. Are you i9305 user for sure? It might be that you have wrong modem.
Couple of questions.
1) Phone model
2) Rom
3) Baseband

I mean what is your baseband (modem) in settings. From menu where you can find information about your phone...

@osmaniyeliapo
When you installed rom, did you choose "Modem ---> XXUFOA1" and "Available CSC's ---> ROM Default"?

Deleted, double post.

It doesn't matter you're from turkey. You must flash this way. Otherwise the situation is this like it's now, no network.
The reason for 'no network' is that because you didn't flash XXUFOA1 modem and default CSC, you have old JellyBean modem which doesn't work with KitKat Touchwiz roms.
So.. Flash that modem (XXUFOA1) and csc (ROM Default)
Then you'll have working network.

When you rooted your phone, what version was it? Was it 4.3? That's JB and the modem doesn't work with KK.

Alright. Thank you for the pic. Now I can see you indeed have kitkat modem installed. Sorry for making presumptions so quick.
I checked the rom thread and there was someone with same problem, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development-i9305/rom-4-4-4-t3026347/post60493200#post60493200
But the solution was the same I suggested to you, flash latest modem (XXUFOA1) and csc (ROM Default).
Just make a nandroid backup before, so if it doesn't work you can always restore back.
And since your Rom version is 8, you could download v9 and update your rom at same time

Stock ROMs

Guys, even the ROM customization has already started I think that very useful would be to have stock ROM backup for the warranty claiming cases. I found site with links to different SGN stock ROMs. I have not installed any of them so be careful.

Hello,
What's naming conviention for firmwares?
is KJA newer or older than KJ4?
*CodePages links on sammobile are not working.
Thx
can someone start up a Note wiki page here on xda..
It needs someone with an obsessive attention to detail, and all consuming passion to list and catalogue everything, rom wise especially!
(counts me out)
that way we can point people to it easily..

I would say N7000ZSKK1 .... I have tried to flash custom version attached somewhere here at forum ... and successfully
Just finished the painfully slow download of the Hong Kong stock ROM ZSKK1.

Zip files are CWM flashable.
Bin files are Mobile Odin/PC Odin flashable. Never rename bin files, or Mobile Odin will not recognize them!
Warning: Even if you want to flash bin file with Mobile Odin i advise to download CWM zip file and extract bin file from there, as it will give you extra CRC protection in case your download was corrupt.
ICS modems can be used with GingerBread ROM's and vice versa.
At least i never have problems with it before.
If you have new modem - post it in this thread and i will add it to the OP.
Cheers for this mate

Best Radio for ICS ?
Which is the best radio to use with ICS Official German..
I had Europe version of GB from new before flashing the ICS release
But it would seem the Signals on both Phone and Wifi aren't as strong as they were when I was running GB.
My original baseband was XXLA4
would this bring back my better signal if I flashed this one with ODIN ?
(assuming that I read correct that you can mix GB and ICS radios ?)
Cheers Chaps.....

its ok, thought u have the same prob...
on how to prevent? its a different Q?
for all of this matter, afaik dont do flash firmwares of different countrys.
that simple.
others try
jb-gb (vice) then poops =prob
PXxxx-DXxxx poops =prob again!
yes its compatible and flashable but each fw's are unique.
so only try flash same country as for your unit to have no network problem in the future (as well as upgrade problem)

well i have two galaxy advance/s..
the CSC of the one is AUT and the other XTC, switzerland and philippines respectively..
i flashed the AUT with XXLPZ and XXLQ4 with odin.. even rooted and installed ripple lockscreen..
on the other hand the XTC was flashed with XXLPZ with odin and applied OTA update which is XXLQ4.. successfully..
so i dont think flashing different countries firmware is not the reason having baseband problem..
maybe somewhere along the process of updating..

You was on 4.1.2 baseband before flashing PA? You was not on 2.3.x? You must be on JB to be able to flash any newer ROM than it.
You did factory reset?
If all yes, then check your APN. If it is not set - set it manually.

Actually, I often experience this, but it happens after the first install CM11 ROM. But after re-boot, then the signal was back to normal. My advice, try the first downgrade to GB firmware for your country. See if it is still problematic.
Ps. Oh yeahh, before you downgrade, make sure that you do a full wipe first (wipe data + partition + dalvik cache) through recovery. Don't forget to remove the memory card before installing the ROM. Hope it helps.

Change SIM card, maybe it is some problem with it.
I had this problem when I installed the first rom on my advance, so I changed the baseband and everything worked fine! Flashed stock Indian, and then the rom I wanted.

Question Can I flash SM-G9980 with SM-G998B firmware?

Can I flash SM-G9980 (Taiwan BRI) with SM-G998B firmware (any region/csc) or it must be from same model?
Also my model in the network mode doesn't show:
2G Only
3G Only
etc...
it shows only:
3G/2G (auto connect)
4G/3G/2G (auto connect)
etc...
In other words I would like to force network mode to 2G only which I saw available only in the SM-G998B
Thanks!

Mine has the ability to select 2G only. I suggest you try changing CSC to TGY.

Mine is also TGY and it has 2G Only.
Oh that's interesting guys. I will change my CSC to TGY then. I can do that by flashing the TGY firmware using Odin right?
Does using the HOME_CSC changes the CSC or I need to wipe all the data?
And after that OTA will work fine?
Thanks!
So can I use Odin to flash a new firmware to change the CSC? I want to change from (Taiwan BRI) to (TGY Hong Kong). Please advise, do I need to wipe all data on phone?

I told ya on the other thread that I did change it. What part are you not understanding?
You'll need to flash HOME_CSC if you want to prevent wiping data on your phone.
I tried to flash the TGY using the HOME_CSC and Odin showed pass and then device rebooted, but nothing changed. It's still showing BRI.
just try but make a backup first

try flashing the firmware if it fails then go to recovery mode using TWRP. before flashing, back it up using TWRP

Sorry it's not clear, can you please explain?
you first need to backup your device using Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP).
after backing it up, go to install and try flashing the firmware.
This app requires root and doesn't do the job. There no s21 on the list of devices even.
Is there anybody here who can help?

I tried flashing the Home_CSC with May firmware and it didn't change it. I discovered I'm also on BRI firmware. I haven't tried it but you can try to flash the whole TGY (Hong Kong Firmware) using odin.
Edit:Beware that this will perform a factory reset on the device
You can use my app Samsung Band Selection to force those options. Click on "more network settings", "advanced", and then "preferred network type"
