G Flex Demo Video - LG G Flex

Is anyone able to link me to, or send me the demo video that comes on the G Flex? I just got rid of mine, and went to a Nexus 6, and I was curious to see what it looked like on another phone. Unfortunately, I forgot to upload it to my PC before I got rid of the phone.

if you want I can get on a server can be mega or dropbox so you can download.

That video has DRM. You won't be able to play it on any other phone, not even on another LG. I already tried

Sorry for nocroed this thread... More or less I have the same problem, after a factory reset and update I lost the video. Someone have the demo video? I am looking for the video and voice mate features, but can't find it anywhere.
EDIT: D955, Guess I used the right firmare (Northern Euro kitkat) but is different....
Thank you.

Anyone had license issues with the Video Unlimited service?

I was just playing around with the Movies app and noticed I can't seem to watch/download the licensed movies.
It's concerning the five free ones we received with the phone (they're the only ones I've tried at the moment). I redeemed them when I got the phone and at that time they downloaded and played just fine. Now though, when I tried to play one it said could not play video.
I deleted the file and thought I'd re-download to see if that helped but it now keeps saying 'Unable to get license' and won't download.
Just wondering if anyone else has had or seen a similar issue before?
i have a different problem, i can't remove video unlimited completely. even after uninstalling it, the movies app still loads video unlimited stuff.

Mine's all good again.
I'm not sure what exactly fixed the problem. Before noticing it was fixed I know I did both a factory reset and re-flashed a stock FTF file (for other purposes - I gave up on the license issue).
Maybe try one (or both) of those options and see if that helps (or maybe even running the repair through PC Companion)?

Issues regarding YouTube

Okay so, to put it simply... I own an Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 which was rooted up until this day. At some time yesterday, YouTube randomly stopped having any connections to the internet.
At first, when you go to the application you can see videos, they load fine on the list as well as the names and thumbnails, but as soon as you click on them / search for videos / wait for 5 seconds you will get an error "Attention - There is no network connection right now. Please try again later."
I'm 100% positive that it's nothing with my net. Browser works fine, I don't use facebook so no idea if it works or not. I even stood right next to the router or modem, however you call it, with full signal and couldn't go to YouTube.
Now, I unrooted the phone. The issue is still there.
Restarting, pulling out battery, factory reset - Nothing worked.
I'm starting to go crazy with this.
No, youtube doesn't even work if I go the mobile site and try to run the video with the application.
No, it does not show up in "Manage applications" so I can't clear it.
Trust me I'd definetly want to go to Google Play and download a newer version, but considering Google says that Youtube isn't compatible with my device / or the actual INSTALL button on their page doesn't work on my phone.
Do help, I got nothing to do on the phone if there's no Youtube to watch videos or music.

The same thing happened to me yesterday with my Xperia x8 phone. I get the same message when I try to watch a youtube video. It was fine a couple of days ago!
If there's more people with the issue, I doubt it's a phone problem anymore. Youtube is most likely doing something then.. Either way, bump, in case someone knows how to fix this.
You might be right... Maybe they did some kind of update that caused this. Anyway, if I find a solution, I will post it here.
Try upgrading to froyo or gingerbread. It works fine on gingerbread.
I can't. My phone model is too high so I can't install 2.2 or higher.
I've been having this issue as well. There isn't anything wrong my connection, as I can load all the pages >.< I just wish someone had a solution. All I've found to do is clear the app data and that's done nothing...

You can (2.2-2.3). there are roms for locked bootloaders. You can consider that and see if it helps.
Also, update youtube if possible.

I can't. I don't recall finding one for 11W48.
You can't update Youtube further on Android 2.1 (aka above 2.20.16)

[Q] Why is my LG G2 VS98039A Android 5.0.2 not downloading anything?

My LG G2 is not downloading anything from the Internet except pictures. The Google Play Store doesn't even load. I am wondering if there is a solution. I have tried factory reset like three times. I have "turned it off and back on". If it can't be fixed, how do I go back to Kit Kat. I am just sick of the bull. Thank you very much. Also, I can still put files on the phone using P.C. That is how I download apps. My phone will still install the App, it just won't download it. It also uploads quite well. Sorry if this post seems spread out. One last thing, it still allows me to browse the Internet and post to Facebook and everything. It is not a connection problem...

Unable to cast screen from Sony Xperia SP Lollipop

Hello there. Greetings from Colombia (So please be patient with my very awful english)
I got a Sony Xperia SP handset in wich I installed the Candy 5 Cyanogenmod 12.1 Lollipop based ROM and everything seems to work fine except for the Cast Screen feature, looks like it wont find any nearby device even when they are both (the TV and the phone) connected to my home network and share the same subnetting ip address. I already tryed installing Chromecast, Miracast, Wifi screen, and everything found on Play Store but nothign works. At some point, some applications dedicated to stream media files are able to transfer photos and videos to be shown on TV but they dont stream the whole screen so I might play with my phone while everybody else at home can see what I'm doing.
Before upgrading to Lollipop, I used to stream my screen to this LG WebOS Smart TV all the time without any issues, I just had to enable the Screen Mirroring feature and it inmediately showed my phone screen up on my TV. Now it just wont happen.
Can somebody, please, provide me any instructions on how to make my phone recognize or find the Smart TV's at home just like it used to be? Thanks for your attention.
You have to add a line on build.prop so your phone can fins your TV, I'll see if I can find it

Thank you, but I've been reading some entries about this build.prop line and looks like this is only for Moto G phones. If I put this line on my Xperia SP phone, will it work or just soft brick again?

Smart View Not Working After Android 10 Update

Apologies if this is the wrong section. I have a Samsung Galaxy S10 on Verizon. A few months ago I had a Kenwood DMX906S installed in my car. Up until Verizon rolled out the Android 10 Update, I was able to use Smart View to wirelessly screen mirror to my Kenwood. With the update, the Smart View app was also updated to v8.1.32. I'm not sure what it was before, but looking through the previous APKs, I'm thinking it was version 7.x.x.
So now, I'm unable to share to my Kenwood. Other support forums have shown that people are having the same issues with Sony Bravia TVs and other TVs as well. I have contacted Kenwood and they said it's not really their issue and they might look at releasing a firmware update at some point.
So, I've looked on APK Mirror and have been able to find previous versions of the APK, but I can't figure out how to uninstall the current version because it's a built in app. And even if I try to just install a more recent version available on APK Mirroring (8.1.40) it gives me a simple error that the APK wasn't installed. More than that, I'm not certain if the problem stems from an issue with the Smart View app itself or if it's a setting somewhere in the new Android 10 Update that I'm overlooking. Any help would be appreciated.
Same issue with a Kenwood dmx9706s and gs9+
I contacted Samsung nine times. They want me to send my phone in. They don't get it. Kenwood says sorry not our problem. Verizon says we don't do software. Crutchfield says, yes we know you bought that receiver last week. But it's discontinued now. And try Samsung.
It seems like something in wifi direct is broken. I also tried the newer apks and they would not install.
Didn't work for me but...
I have a galaxy z flip and my device will connect but only displays a zoomed in section of my homescreen. But I found on a reddit thread that a lot of people were able to get their smart view to work again after resetting network settings. You will lose saved wifi passwords, etc. but I felt it worth trying even though my problem didn't exactly match up. But if your problem is not being able to connect at all then that was a fix that worked for quite a few people. Hopefully it works for you, now I'm off to continue my search for a solution to my seemingly on off problem.
verizon or samsung update?
