1stly i have 4.4.2 (.757) running on my z1 and i downgraded to .534 and i rooted the device by vroot and backed up the DRM keys successfully.. and then i flashed to .290 and unlocked the bootloader by flashtool and then downgraded to .534 and then installed the dual recovery and then flashed using the flashable recovery using recovery and then i found that camera is not working properly.. camera is opening and when i press the shutter butter its trying to focus the area and after focusing it freezes and doesn't shutter... so this is my problem... please help...
So much fail.
Do not use vroot, it sends your imei number to an ip address in China.
Also, unlocking your bootloader on 4.2 will break your camera, it clearly says so on the Sony official site about unlocking your bootloader.
Now, the solution.
Restore your ta partition.
Use pccompanion to update to the latest firmware
Unlock your bootloader again
Flash a custom kernel of your choice
Install super user app of your choice

.534 is 4.2 FW. the camera will not work with an unlocked boot.
Follow the advice I gave above

yeah..!! i have done it.. thanks
but i have unlocked it in 4.3 does it make any sence by unlocking the bootloader in 4.3 and i didn't get any recovery mode... so.. i downgrader to 4.2 and installed the dual recovery as the thread says it needs .534 firmware to root properly...

I have to ask
Why are you unlocking your bootloader? What have you done it for? You do not get a recovery mode just by unlocking the boot, you have to flash a custom kernel with recovery in it
You either do all the downgrading and install dual recovery if you have a locked bootloader
OR
You unlock your bootloader, flash a custom kernel with recovery and install super user app
there is no need for both approaches and that's why you are getting problems

Why did you unlock the bootloader? What did you want to do with it?
You can not install a recovery without a custom kernel, xperia devices have no recovery partition, it can only be installed by pushing the ramdisks to the system partition or by flashing a custom kernel.
Please follow the advice I gave several posts ago.... that is your solution.
Then spend some time reading up on xperia device flashing.
1) Xperia devices have no factory recovery or recovery partition
2) Unlocking the bootloader is the fastest and easiest method to root and get recovery (If you are allowed to do it)
3) If you cannot or do not want to unlock the bootloader, then go through the downgrade, root, dual recovery process...

Greg said fifteen times - follow his guide for here.
Yoy can't flash custom kernel especially not fastboot custom kernel on locked bootloader.
Whole purpose of unlocking bootloader is to flash custom kernel.
You are confused with all this informations, I would recommend that you read few things here on XDA to understand terms and other things.
You could seriously damage your device with just one wrong step.

go ahead with dual recovery. it won't brick your phone.
locked means it can be installed in locked bootloader.
unlocking bootloader lets you install custom roms like cyanogenmod, omnirom etc which are close to stock android something like in nexus devices.

okaay so i rooted my phone again and decided to unlock my bootloader, i have verified that i am able to unlock my bootloader and follow all the instructions on the official sony website on how to unlock the bootloader. i get no errors during the cmd process either, i turn my phone on and it gets to the purple boot animation screen and then freezes. Is there anyway around this ?
EDIT: Also i used DooMlords thread and get the same problem? /: - I also use Flashtool but when i press 'blu' i only have the option to RELOCK my bootloader? :S

Just flash any desired custom form via fastboot and that's all, it should work.
When I unlocked my bootloader with stock firmware it doesn't boot anymore either, so I had to flash any other or reflash it again

Just flash a official FTF, then go to service menu, tests -> configuration and if your bootloader status is:
Unlock allowed: Yes - you can unlock your bootloader
Unlock allowed: No - your bootloader is hard bricked and there's no way to solve this (permanently)
Unlocked - congratulations.
I suppose your bootloader is hardlocked. check for yourself and if anything changes - quote

If you are on a custom rom you just have to flash the custom kernel over it putting the phone in fastboot . No need to unlock bootloader again. Please ensure that the rom supports the custom kernel or there can be bootloops .

I have tried unlocking it with and without a custom ROM on my phone, it says 'Bootloader Unlocked: Yes' on the service info and i also only have the option to RELOCK my bootloader when i try it on the flash tool. Does this mean that it may actually be unlocked already?
EDIT: im also using This custom ROM which has custom kernals to select from
-Thanks

The rom that you gave link to is a stock firmware based custom rom, so it will have stock kernel.
I think it must be written Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes, on your phone
You will need to unlock the bootloader, PM me I will guide you how to do it.

hey i cannot unlockbootloader in service info bootloader not allowed which frimeware i can unlock bootloader?
hi there,
if the phone says in the service menu bootloader unlock allowed no means it cant be unlocked but that means you can still install a custom rom which should say LBL rom. Follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-sp/general/guide-flashing-custom-roms-ultimate-xsp-t2888579

Go to Xperia website, and search Unlock Bootloader, there you can select Xperia SP and see the number code type it on your cell phone to see if your cell can unlock the bootloader ( My English is more less bad, sorry for this I am Brazilian )

If it says "no." you can't unlock it. You can install custom ROMs as long they are stated that are for Locked Bootloders. Do not attempt to flash a ULB ROM onto a Xperia SP with a LBL because it will soft brick your phone. Attempting to unlock the bootloader when the the status says "no" it's not recommendable and could hard brick your phone.

As mentioned above, if the phone says "no" or doesn't say anything at "bootloader unlock allowed:" thing, then there's no way around that. You can still get custom roms though. There are some roms that will work with locked bootloaders.
Pro tip: Always buy generic phones if you want the best from xda. Always check what you're going to buy.

Long time ago i saw a thread that a user was telling that he wasn't able to unlock the bootloader when he has using certain ftf files. It is pretty strange actually.
Try to downgrade your phone, maybe installing kk and try again mate.
Maybe this will help if you already don't know it. Take a look here. Way old that thread but maybe still guilty.
