---Installation instructions---​
First time installing to your GIONEE M2, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working CWM or CTR.
- Copy ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
-Wipe all Data(System, Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache for wipe menu::::THIS STEP IS NECCESSARY)
- Flash zip from SDCard
- Reboot

Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! Find status bar background. PNG
Increase its size using Photoshop or any other.
Recompile.

I have searched the internet for a stable ROM for my device. Seems there is none. That's why I'm worried.

you cant flash one device rom to another device,until both of them are exact clones. i think only walton primo HM and Qmobile Noir M90 (not sure) are exact clones of gionee M2.
another way is port this rom to your device and flash.there are plenty of porting guides available here in xda.

Note-:
1.If you get an error while using camera like-"The phone storage doesn't have enough space.Please release some storage or change the default write disk in settings " -: go to settings->storage->then change default write disk to SD Card.
2.This ROM is tested in 4GB Model (all working flawlessly) , will work on 8GB too. If you encounter any camera issue in 8GB Model-flash your stock boot.img after flashing the ROM.

Swipe down status bar using 3 fingers you'll get gravity box toogles.

Gravity box toogles, with 3 finger swipe.

Aeroplane mode disables all frequencies from phone. You can't enable WiFi or other network while on airplane mode

Now some issues/ UI limitations
1.Gravity box - never install - will cause bootloop / UI force close issues
2.Titanium backup will not work . you can use rom toolbox instead.
3.xposed and other modules working - not fully
4.antutu not working (didn't test all apps from playstore)
5. Didn't tested on 8gb (maybe works) , only tested with 4gb .
6. Themes not working
if you want highest backup , highest free ram , good cam quality - use this rom

Open systemui.apk using WinZip or winrar
Find the G & 3G icon
Delete it

Dear Team,
I had flashed this rom everything is working fine even UI is superb. But statusbar fonts are very small (i.e. clock fonts)
Please guide me if any way to increse it's size.
In addition please release patch for removing 2G,3G icons infront of networks....

Open build prop file using root explorer or any file manager . find this line
ro.sf.lcd_density=
Increase the value there
You can put any value between 200 to 240
Increasing the value- increases the size
If there's no such line , just add it at the end of the build prop
This is applicable to all custom ROMs
Network icon fix will soon be uploaded

How to Install​
First download the Rom, Place to sdcard (Link bellow)
Use My New TWRP Recovery (Link bellow)
Reboot to Recovery
Backup your current Rom
Then Full Wipe From Advanced Option (Except Sdcard)
Now Install Rom,
After complete, wipe cache & dalvik cache,
Reboot & enjoy

Network unstable, data disconnects frequently

Again same problem occurs, when I set data network on 2nd Sim it disconnects data frequently and on facing Sim 1 signal lost and coming, signal stays for few seconds and again lost.

Hello sir!
Not going to ask for an ETA or anything but i hope we will get one soon! :3 Hopefully with hotspot fixed so we can play CS:GO from my hotspot too
I had this in mind, can you please make the next version / a version of CM12.1 without ANY G-APP? i believe beside apks and libs the first run setup apk may have to be modified: i tried flashing 12.1 without play services and the like on my phone, it gets stuck on "checking connection" after the wifi selection screen, whereas it works perfectly fine if i flash the one with Gapps and play services etc.. I would really like a lollipop rom without g00gle owning it for once :3 :good::highfive:
