Would it be ok to ask a ROM DEV to make a version I could flash with Odin?

Ok managed to flash Philz_touch and it looked like it's just a matter of choosing a rom on the sd card and installing just like CWM but all the roms fail saying something similar to......
"ApplyParsedPerms: lsetfilecon os /system/lost+found to ubject_r:system_file:s0 failed: Operation not supported on transport endpoint
set_metadata_recursive: some changed failed
E: Error in /external_sd/ROMS/nameless-5.0.2-20150318-i9305.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted
press any key to continue"
Is there anything else I can do to get a rom on this device.
Try another ROM maybe?
Cheers for any help
HB

What version of philz are you using? You need to be using one of the latest ones Cwm 6.0.4.4 at least. I only say this because status 7 error is normally because of an outdated recovery.

[Q] Boot Freeze after trying to flash new x-note. Please help me rescue the phone

HI all,
Been keeping upto date with the latest X note rom for a few months now. The process was simple every time, but this one.
I had to flash in odin the AP and BL for MJ5(4.3 I believe) to get my phone to boot into safe strap . Then I would wipe clean and install new rom.
Then I had to flash the AP and BL files for the MGL version (4.4.2I believe ) for it to book back up inti kit kat.
This time though aftr my wipe, the file wouldn't flash. it froze on the screen for about 30 mins with no update on the flashing status bar...I had no choice but to upplug in. Now when I go to turn it on there is no system.
I have nandroid backups I did in safe strap but are the useless unless I can flash those safestrap??? correct? or is there a way to odin flash the system, recovery, data, cache, TAR files etc that i have from backing up in the TWRP version on safe strap.? I have been searching for hours now for a srock firmweare image that I could flash with odin and still haven't gotten even close to anything . I even tried using N900AUCECMLG_OneClickBin and the odin would flash but never reboot . I am currently digging for other options now
Thank you in advance for your help. As of now I don't have a functioning phone so if I screwed up too badly , please feel free to tell me that without sugar coating it so I can head down to at&t and buy another one.
Thank you
I also tried 900AUCUBMI9_OneClickBin.exe and I get the following error

I was in a similar situation yesterday, was trying to flash Knoxraid JB ROM from Kitkat ROM and screwed up, the phone stuck on boot logo, tried 900AUCUBMI9_OneClickBin.exe too but failed for several times, then I rebooted my computer and changed another USB port and it worked!

[Q] HELLLP! nonworking screen turned into more serious problem while install 4.4.2!!!

i was rooted under 4.3 ML2, then i followed the second way(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2722073) to flash the pwnedkitkat.zip in safetrap, but my screen wasnt working so i searched forum and saw that it says reflash PDA from ML2, from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2721247 i did but it couldnt load up, so i wanted to reflash the BL for ML2, but instead i used the wrong one, i used the one called boot.tar.md5, which supposed to be PDA instead of BL, now i cant even boot up my phone.
ive done some research, and here are seems like where the problem from:
1: i cant recover it with safestrap installed.
2: the firmware on my phone is newer than the stock rom(ML2) im trying to flash.

after many trials, i used boot.tar.md5 for BL and succesfully got back rooted on 4.3, however, i cant make phone calles, text messages are fine though, and hte screen, of course, works great . i rooted 4.3 then i followed your step for rooted 4.3 to 4.4.2 and i succefully installed it and the touch screen is not reponding, not at all, but only with one touch to unlock it, and after unlock, i cant do nothing. and most of the time i cant even unlock it. i am fine with rooted 4.3 or unrooted whatever, i jsut need a phone badly... please help me. when i try to make a phone call, after i pressed "call" nothing happens, the phone froze, yet people im dialing can receive the phone call, just that they cnat hear me.
(im not sure if this is a stupid question , but will there be an ODIN restore for 4.4.2? if yes, how long will it be released? i think the fact i cant make phone calls actually contributed by the wrong bootloader, (or i might be wrong). thanks a lot man, i know you're great! really appreaciate your work on rooting 4.3)

So one day i decided to update my S6 from 5.0.2 to 5.1.1. I downloaded smart switch and updated through there.
The phone worked perfectly until I realized I need to root my phone so I attempted to root through TWRP using UPDATE-SuperSu 2.46.zip and I got stuck in a boot loop.
Then I searched google how to get out of my problem and somewhere along the line, I deleted my OS by deleating System in the wipe section of TWRP.
I tried to flash the stock rom but Odin gives me this error:

Make sure the tar file in Odin is the latest 5.1.1 version. Samsung has patched the bootloader so that no one can downgrade anymore. Do you know what version 5.1.1 you were running before? If so, download that exact version.

I've downloaded the T-mobile 5.1.1 version because I have not found a MetroPCS version. I hope that is the version I had before.
I downloaded it from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/general/stock-firmware-official-stock-firmware-t3086387 (the first link)
EDIT: Currently going to try this out. I'll let you know if it works or not: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmo...x-recovery-seandroid-enforcing-error-t3144011
EDIT 2: Doesn't work it just says md5 file invalid. Binary Check Failed.
EDIT 3: FIXED MY PHONE I just used the latest version of 5.1.1. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction xmayhemreturnsx. Link for the latest version for anyone else who needs help:http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmo...firmware-g920tuvu3doi1-g920tuvu2doh6-t3213001

I had some issues with ODIN failing when trying to go back to stock after rooting failed. I found a Samsung tool called SmartSwitch (suggested in the error I was getting )and installed and ran it on my PC to get my tablet back in stock working order. You can get it from Samsung.

The only reason why you would get issues flashing a stock firmware with odin is if the firmware isn't intended for your device.
Odin is quite smart and can prevent you from bricking your device.
I try to flash this one T810XXU1BOH7_T810XAR1BOH7_HOME.tar, Now i have flash custom rom so my tab si working but cant flash to stock rom.
Sorry my bad english :/

I'm having the same issue. Odin fails on me when I'm attempting to install the stock rom.
I see the note about using SmartSwitch, but when I try to run it, it says my device isn't support. I tried used Kies, and I get the same message, that my device isn't supported.

Still have stock recovery after flashing twrp on eqe2 firmware (latest)

Coming out of an old build of Maximum Overdrive from last year, I felt the need to update. Wiped, found base/build epj2, flashed and rooted that. I guess that wasnt the latest build, it think it was released in oct 2016. Had major issues with this firmware, So i rewiped, reflashed epj2, and just let tmobile ota's take over. Now Im on baseband/ build N910T3UVS3EQE2, which is the latest firmware to date.
My problem, flashing twrp does nothing. Im getting no errors in odin, (see text below) when I reboot into recovery after flashing, I still have stock recovery. First time Ive encountered this. If its relevant, Ive tried odin 3.12.3 and 3.12.7, and twrp 3.0.2 and 3.1.1. Im out of ideas at this point, and my searches have turned up nothing related to specifically root issues related to eqe2 firmware.
Any tips would be appreciated Thanks!

TWRP Recovery might be Released within a few months for this base, now if you can downgrade to epj2 then do it and redo the twrp if you cant then try to downgrade to 5.1.1 and then upgrade to epj2
I'm on the same build but I'm able to install TWRP and it works. I can even install different versions of TWRP. The problem I have after is no matter what ROM I try to flash after I get either error 7, error 6, or errors about the zip file. When I try to Odin it just crashes. I wonder if this build is more secure than others?
