[ROM] CyanogenMod 12 - Unofficial Nightlies [04.01.2015]

CYANOGENMOD 12 UNOFFICIAL NIGHTLIES FOR HTC M8
This is my first ROM post, I have recently started building CyanogenMod 12 from source with no modifications, initially for my own use, but thought that I would share it with the community, I tend to produce a new build daily.
Flash the ROM at your own risk. I accept no responsibility for any damage that may occur as a result of flashing this ROM. That being said I have been using my builds for a couple of weeks without issue.
The device must be unlocked and using a custom recovery, ie TWRP / CWM
You need a ROM zip and optional Gapps. Links to Gapps and ROM are found at the bottom of this post.
Please wipe data / cache if coming from sense or another ROM, other than that wipe is not necessary.

In uc browser cant opening but ill try with stock browser can open

I don't know what's so different between this build of cm12 and the other cm12 builds but this runs better and more stable then any of the other cm12 builds available

Build is up for today, there won't be a build on 25th or 26th....

Yeah I noticed that this rom works more smoothly and stable too, whatever you've done to the rom, its awesome, cheers dev!

Camera issue
Having some camera issues. The 1st picture works, but next ones won't until a lot of time goes by, or if you you switch from camera to video back to camera some times works. I'm running the 12-24 version on the at&t network.

I use Google camera rather than cm camera and it works fine.

Google camera from play store fixed the issue. Thanks for the ROM and the suggestion.

Build for today is up, I'm not going to keep posting when a build is released, please check the OP to find the latest release.

Downloading now, I like how people are saying it seems more stable and smooth than other CM builds!

SD card
Is there a way to sort out the storage issue, because the internal storage memory I have is only 16G and most of the applications can't be moved to the external storage. I guess, this is the most annoying thing.
p.s the rom perform well and so far, I don't have any major issues.

Can anyone tell me how to fix sound distortion ?

Guys I have Ported MIUI V5 for our device moto e. here some screen shots,ROM booted but so many fc and not stable. I am working on it. I will give the download link when I fix the bugs.

Hello, first of all thank you for your efforts to bring up a booted MIUI ROM for Moto E. I guess you ported from a single SIM device, that's why dual SIM is not working, because I'm using a single SIM version and RIL is working fine. Wifi and Data is also working, which is great! So what I want to do is to bring up a theme chooser and get the SD Card working. For Dual SIM you cannot do anything except porting from a Dual SIM device. There might be a fix, I didn't say it is impossible, but I'm just trying to say that for me it "seems" impossible. Don't give up your hope!

EDIT: It would be great if you tell me where you did port from. I guess you ported from a lower resolution device. That's why the theme chooser also FC's.

No no! I just flashed this one from OP. My several ported ROMs did come to bootanimation but then stuck there. This is the only booting one till now. And bugs I found so far on Single SIM version is:
External SD Card not detecting
Wifi hotspot not working
Theme chooser not present
Some UI glitches
The rest works fine.

Hello, for some time I research about how to port the MIUI, look at this tutorial Sasa, can help to fix some bugs

To attach the external Sd Card think it can be the framework-res.apk-
And for theme-chooser is needed libs and binaries for the same work, in patchrom you find the needed libs and bins.

SD Card problem is an easy fix. The problem is I'm unable to recompile the apk after decompiling, tho I used Mitool 3.0.

I love this awesome ROM hoping for the best...
Even a single sim would work but rill should be at least there on the dual sim variant

Anyway, what is the great thing in this ROM? I see everyone asking to port, but I don't see great features who other don't have. Or I don't know what he have.

Fixed Sd Card bro??

Awesome work!
So happy to get miui back.
Phone and contacts apps dont work for me - opens to a white screen then back to home screen. Installed ExDialer and all is fine.
Speed of phone is great and GPS works fine. Will try bluetooth tomorrow.
Root doesn't seem to work for me (enabled in security app) but I only wanted Titanium backup and as my backups are on the SD card its irrelevant. Can certainly live without that for now.
I'm not a dev but if you want any build testing, I'll gladly help out if I can.

Do you have a fix for ril working for dual sim variant (even if a single sim works it would be great)

Waoo amazing port by OP......Everything works perfectly except ril and themes..........Keep it up. Browsing is damn smooth with MIUI. I didn't even get a single Fc's yet.

Today, I finally managed to port Slim ROM to the A500F!
Note:
I haven't tested it out yet! Feel free to try it out!
This is my first ROM port. Please don't blame me if something goes wrong!
Prerequisites:
1.TWRP or ClockworkMod Recovery
2. Slim ROM
3. SD Card
(I'm trying to port to A500FU and other A devices as well. Help wanted!)
Installation method
1. Wipe data, dalvick cache, cache,etc by using TWRP or ClockworkMod recovery
2. Flash ROM via SD Card
3. Reboot and Enjoy!
(Testers and contributors needed)

I've ported Slim ROM using a Cyanogenmod for each model as the base ROM. I can't seem to find cyanogenmod for the A500H though....

I don't know much about ROM devlopment.... And this is my first ROM, so its bound to have bugs.... I need a help!

Hi ahmad89098,
If this is your first ROM, I'd suggest studying the build system of Android. SlimROM is not MIUI, we have source code available, so building it should be relatively easy
Also, please do point out your sources in the first post! It's against XDA's rules to not to have kernel sources available.

THE google keyboard not working and package installer also not working, The messaging threads cannot be read please resolve these issues and further more gapps alos not working...i flash gapps for cm 12.1 and they dont seem to work get Google play services has stopped error. It also has an issue of no sim card detection
please fix these and l will keep this as my permanent rom:fingers-crossed:

Request for sprout 8 development

Dear developers it's an humble request to all of you there who are currently developing maintaining or creating rom for sprout 4 at least create one for sprout 8 too or at least create a patch for those ROMs to run on sprout 8 too
It's a humble request not pushing or forcing....

What ROM exactly are you talking about? I have a sprout8 running AICP for sprout4 and 99% of it works great.

Yup me too.. Sprout8 (mito a10) running great on any sprout4 rom

But it's not showing internal storage for me on any rom that I install of sprout 4 on my sprout 8 device including Aicp

Hmm, you're right.
The internal SD card is still accessible under /data/media/0, but the available patch leaves my device in a bootloop.
In the meantime I use X-plore to easily organize files between internal and external, but it would be nice to have an updated patch.

In Aicp there is no internal storage and roms like liquid and euphoria and random rediam for sprout 4 got bootloop

Have you tried clean-flashing? That solved bootloops for me. Will try those ROMs again in a few days, to be sure.

Haven't tried the latest builds after getting boot loop earlier so can't say anything Snoopy latest ones will try n report again hopefully in these builds the problem gets resolved and yes I had tried both clean n dirty installation in Hope of getting them work but failed...

Don't follow the snapshot right there . It has bugs . follow this instead . You can install on sd card also .

class 10 sd card is recommended . Uhs-1 is perfect and our android one device system partition weighs 1000mb so that much space is required . the more powerful the sd card is ; the much better performance you get .
