Android M velvet apk to enable the new launcher from the Android Apps and Games section. Works great, just don't get OK Google while using this.

Have you tired getting it to work from any other launcher?

The m launcher is already in cm nightlies. It's pretty cool.
Is the launcher still only 4x4?

Jfltetmo. I think it's the M launcher. I've never seen it. Vertical app drawer, sectioned by letter of the alphabet, with a scrollbar at the bottom to scroll to certain letters faster.
Ugly, ugly launcher IMO. There are so many better 3rd party launchers that are actually aesthetically pleasing.
You guys can just use Nova. It's got the same app drawer, and it has my favorite iphone feature - swipe down from home to open a super fast app search. Nova also has OK Google support.

Many of you unaware that the look of Cyanogenmod 7 doesn't represent the look of Android 2.3, with only the top bar looking like it did in 2.3 the rest is ADWLauncher, So with ADWlauncher ex you can customize the look more, And what i'm after is the remaining 2 things i need.

As you can see the dock isn't really the same as it is in 2.3 so anyone out there with the right file?
Also the drawer icon is low quality, all i need are those 2 items, please help me find them.
Did you try just taking the images directly out of a Gingerbread launcher.apk?
While I'm here, love the use of the new Chrome icon for the browser - would you mind uploading it?
EDIT: After fishing through a Gingerbread launcher.apk, it seems the dock background is actually made of multiple images, since there's no single .png for it. The app drawer icon's an easy find, though. I'll upload the apk for you.
Have you thought of using the gingerbread launcher instead of adw.?

I know what you mean dude, and i agree but also you do get a lot more in the way of customization with ADW...then again there IS a Gingerbread theme on the market for it :S why bother with this?
Hello,
I've just installed CyanogenMod 7 on my Milestone, and as I hate ADW.Launcher, I used this mod to remove it and replace with the default gingerbread launcher. The problem is that my application icons are now blurry(only at the app tray, not on the home screen):

What should I do to solve this?

I've faced the same problem. Heard that it has something to do with MDPI icons stretching to HDPI or some such thing. No one seems to have fixed it yet.
Another thing about the stock launcher --> laggy as hell (consumes lots of memory). It would be good to see a lighter, stock 3D launcher for all 2.3 ROMs.
I noticed that when using cronos ginger...
I can't stand them 3D lauchers anyway...
I don't see how anybody can actually hate ADW... if I try another launcher I always miss ADW features
Use a 3rd-party launcher like ADW or GO. Both will automatically set the icons to hdpi.

IS there any theme or UI or launcher or ROM which use ELSE phone UI....?
I just love that!!!!!!
Yes, if you have a ROM wth theme chooser, there are Touchwiz themes, Arc themes, Sense themes and Motoblur themes.
Just have a look at the list of themes for the theme chooser here at xda.
There is also a TouchWiz launcher available for the X8 and thereĀ“s a Sense mod for Launcher Pro.
No... I want theme of ELSE Mobile..( the one created bu Israel company)
Wait... Is ELSE mobile a phone?

Yaa... well search on Youtube..... brilliant UI
It's this right? I think that this is hard to make, but launcher like that will look very nice, but it will not be smooth, this has advanced graphics and OpenGL that is not suported by our X8

Holy mother of me, the UI of that mobile is outrageous (I say it in a good way)
yeah we need some devs to build a launcher that looks and operates like this...
i tried my hand at it for windows mobile...

Does anyone have any idea what app this is? It's probably themed, but I still don't recognize it at all.

I'm almost positive it is a skinned version the messaging app Telegram. It looks even more like the Alliance skinned version called Alliogram from Alliance team, but since it is AOSP I doubt that is the case. Unless they build outside of Touchwiz.

Look up Telegram and I don't think it's that app unfortunately :/. It doesn't have that split People and Messages bar at the top like in the screen.

Is there a list of themed apps for the theme? Might be able to figure it out from that.
It's an older version of Hangouts!
