Blurry Icons

Hello,
I've just installed CyanogenMod 7 on my Milestone, and as I hate ADW.Launcher, I used this mod to remove it and replace with the default gingerbread launcher. The problem is that my application icons are now blurry(only at the app tray, not on the home screen):

I've faced the same problem. Heard that it has something to do with MDPI icons stretching to HDPI or some such thing. No one seems to have fixed it yet.
Another thing about the stock launcher --> laggy as hell (consumes lots of memory). It would be good to see a lighter, stock 3D launcher for all 2.3 ROMs.

I noticed that when using cronos ginger...
I can't stand them 3D lauchers anyway...
I don't see how anybody can actually hate ADW... if I try another launcher I always miss ADW features

Use a 3rd-party launcher like ADW or GO. Both will automatically set the icons to hdpi.

Yes, if you have a ROM wth theme chooser, there are Touchwiz themes, Arc themes, Sense themes and Motoblur themes.
Just have a look at the list of themes for the theme chooser here at xda.
There is also a TouchWiz launcher available for the X8 and there´s a Sense mod for Launcher Pro.

It's this right? I think that this is hard to make, but launcher like that will look very nice, but it will not be smooth, this has advanced graphics and OpenGL that is not suported by our X8

Not sure if apex launcher supports custom background images for app drawer. Users can set it to transparent though, which will show the desktop wallpaper as the app drawer background.
There's an extensive tutorial on apex launcher theme creation. Check it out.

Android M launcher

Android M velvet apk to enable the new launcher from the Android Apps and Games section. Works great, just don't get OK Google while using this.

The m launcher is already in cm nightlies. It's pretty cool.

Jfltetmo. I think it's the M launcher. I've never seen it. Vertical app drawer, sectioned by letter of the alphabet, with a scrollbar at the bottom to scroll to certain letters faster.

Ugly, ugly launcher IMO. There are so many better 3rd party launchers that are actually aesthetically pleasing.

You guys can just use Nova. It's got the same app drawer, and it has my favorite iphone feature - swipe down from home to open a super fast app search. Nova also has OK Google support.

They all work great except the Earth one, which is by far the best imo. Anyone get it working?

Running 7.1 DP. Root.
Google Assistant, Pixel Launcher, Google Wallpapers, and Pixel Icons installed.
I installed the apk and that's it. Using it as my wallpaper right now.

Works perfectly fine here, 7.1.1 with root and nova launcher. Assistant nor pixel icons are installed.
Maybe you have issues with the location check or maybe the locating is disabled?

Take the regular nexus path. Unlock bootloader from the dev settings menu and flash twrp and then supersu through it

hmm, wonder if rooting is something needed? Im stock 7.1.1

These look amazing on my stock 7.1.1 rooted N6p, only other thing I need to make this phone look like the pixel is the new round icons.

Can you set a different live wall on lockscreen than home screen?

Loaded and worked fine as long as I used the ARM64 apk attachment at the bottom of the ops first post. I couldn't get the first listed download link for arm64 to run the live earth wall paper, it would crash. Of note on my 6p chrome browser I couldn't see the attached zip file. I had to use my pc to see it was there.
