Update bootloader through phone

I tried to flash CM 12.1 on my Moto G but everytime I try it says I have to have bootloader 0x4882 or 0x4883. I have the binaries of 0x4882 but I can't install them because I cant use fastboot. I have a chromebook and there are apps for ADB but they don't have fastboot. Also, I can't install fastboot with this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=38232908#post38232908 .Any help?

You will need a Windows based PC / Laptop to update your bootloader.
Via fastboot mode you will have to flash updated bootloader files on your Moto G2, only then you can install CM12.1 based ROMs

Not possible without pc......its very easy...follow the original thread of updating bl by gregor.....i did that....now im in rom heaven

I think i just bricked my moto x 2014...

I was running a rooted rom and my bootloader is unlocked.
But i wanted to flash the 5.1 ota.
So I was trying to flash the stock image so that I could unroot and flash the 5.1 ota.
I used the Moto X Multitool and used option 4:
flash back to total stock unrooted rom and recovery-full-wipe
How do I flash a rom? It doesn't matter what. I don't want to send it back to Motorola.
Adb is working but fastboot is not working.
EDIT:
I rebooted into the bootloader and flashed TWRP.
Everything is working perfect again
Now I'm stuck in this recovery screen:

Can you get back into the bootloader and did you try doing a factory reset?

Moto G XT1078 not leave the home screen to install the rom 5.0.2 of the failed installation, according to the owner was installed rom xt1068. the device does not go into recovery mode, somento in fasboot mode.

Moto x 2014 Xt 1092

i got rooted my moto x 2014 xt 1092 with MOTO_X_2014_PURE_MULTI_TOOLV4.1 and had recently flahed stock marshmallow 6.0 but after this lost root access and used the same tool to gain root access but mistakenly flashed android 5.0 and my device is stuck at error(moto has stopped working) and keeps on rebooting.
Now the problem is i am not able to enable usb debugging. so i am not able reflash marshmallow and after loosing root access TWRP back up has also been deleted.
Can anyone help me how can i flash marshmallow without usb debugging enabled.

Do you have access at twrp recovery or not? So if yes, download "stock+" rom from the link below and make a clean install through usb otg in TWRP. Then you can enable USB debugging from developer settings and you can revert back to stock via fastboot mode.
The basic for all these, is to have access at TWRP recovery.

XT1068 Dual Sim - looking for Stock Rom (Europe), stuck on Motorola logo

I bought a used Moto XT1068 Dual Sim, which was running on 6.0 Marshmallow.
Tried to root it with Windroid Toolkit v.3.1 but step 3 (get root) didn't succeed.

After installing SU phone is stuck on Motorola logo.
- bootloader is unlocked
- I have TWRP 3.0.2-3
I already tried to flash several stock ROMS (with TWRP) from here:

Nothing worked out.
When trying to flash stock rom there always was an error like:
"Could not find 'META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary' in the zip file".
Am I doing something wrong?
Which is the correct ROM for XT1068 Dual SIM Europe?
Or would you recommend Cyanogenmod?

You can't flash stock ROMs from recovery. Use PC and flash the right file. And yea, use lineage

Same with mw..stuck at WARNING SCREEN after flashing SU.
I would like to flash EU stock .
