Why do people have to go and create all these great looking ROMs? I don't have time to try all this stuff out!
Seriously though, this looks really nice -- I think I might take it for a spin this weekend. Being stock-based, the various alternate kernels (hydra, king, adrynalyne) should all work, right?

It does look very nice and I can't seem to keep the same rom on for more than 2 days without being tempted by another. I think I should be able to restore the HTC news widget (the only one I love!!) and have the best of both worlds. I'll give you feedback after testing.

Just for you sir. I updated the OP with download links to all of the HTC widgets. Most of them can install just like any regular app. No need for update.zip or dropping files in /system/.

Very nice! I love the transparent app drawer and your work on the boot animation and HTC welcome screen replacement.

Gallery, Music, and video apps.
there are no sense media players. The google apps now read internal storage.

Yes but it is very few buttons and only in some particular apps. The text can be read but it is very unclear. You can go in the Gmail app and the show pictures button for example has this issue

Hi ComputerFreak. I have just installed Black Perfection 2.1 on my Elelinux 1.9 ROM and I really like the looks of it. However, all texts are in black... even the ones at the top of the screen (notifications, time, etc.). It is different from the screenshots you show. Please tell me how to change the font colours to white! Maybe a tiny patch will work??

I just tried to change the colours in CM settings. I only managed to change to colour of the time.
I tried to change all of them to #ffffffff (white) but they don't seem to take effect. Do I have to reboot or something?

would there be a way for you to put that sking on the Android Keyboard? I really dislike the HTC_IME =/

Hey thanks for the CMTheme.zip file. I rebooted my phone and now everything looks perfect!
But now I have another problem... I installed the special theme HTC_IME mod keyboard and it works great. However, every single time I reboot it is gone and I have to reinstall from the .apk file..
I'm not sure if it's because of the CMTheme.zip file or the Black Perfection Theme itself. Maybe they cause to keyboard to revert to its original?
Sorry I have to trouble you again..!

[APP] MiUi Camera working on any rom?

I have the MiUi camera app working on Superclean 2.9.2 and it works flawless gallery opens from it and everything it *SHOULD* work on any rom maybe except AOSP? (Confirm this for me anyone?)
It's in update.zip form so just flash it and it should be there and work.

You don't have to use it then, nobody is forcing you.. It's more proof of concept that a MiUi APK is working on another rom.

Now see this is what designs should look like. All these camera app on the market and basic ones that come on phones are just junk as far as the design goes. The Miui.apk is sleek and sexy. It's even really easy to navigate for what you need. It's the way it should be.

I will release the first version of the rom with 2 bugs will be solved, but as there are not big bugs, the rom is perfectly usable, I'll tell you what bugs:
1 - After installing the rom with the wipes, the initial configuration will of an error, and goes straight to the launcher to configure the account settings just go to "accounts" Simple!
2 - The menu that appears when loading the menu key, which has the option to add, settings, preferences etc., part of the text is poorly formatted, but it is still there and so we can see You do not notice it: p
That's not a bug:
To get a sense of the dock with the black background as in the images, follow these steps:
- Menu key 'preferences' Configuration of senna mod "Number of docks: choose two docks.
Go to the launcher and choose to dock two by swiping your finger sideways on top of it and personilaza with the shortcuts you want

Nope, it's another rom, koila stopped Tecno rom... He said it some time ago and his thread was closed.
Now, this is another rom from him, but with a different name and a different look.

BTW, am unable to spot significance basic difference between your ROM and the ravenous 5.1 by robin.raven, if any??
it's like almost equal. get somethings unique, cause having two very similar ROM is confusing for the user.
hope you understand what i meant.
try and get more polished b/w look. take a sense framework & system ui, decompile it, study it and implement .xml changes and swap the png's.
the ROM looks promising.

Yes, I understood what you meant and it is true, is similar to ravenious, but only on the outside, but not used ravenous as the base for my rom, I started again with V20o and was changing to look like the sense, only used the system.apk it to have less work
In short, it was I who added the widgets, walpapers, launcher, PNG's changed, etc. and removed the widget because it is paid and locker replaces the original lockscreen LG ...
I think the revinous no tweaks and this has and in the next version comes with even more tweaks in build.prop, on antutu i get score of 2500. ahah
I also used the theme of tim van der Horn as the basis for the rom, no files of raveniuos

....one suggestion though, u can use the my PRADA systemUI and Framework-res.
take a look at the screenshots, if you feel u might implement it, temme, i'll share it.
there is a small glitch of non-centered clock (very easy to solve).....it was done ENTIRELY for personal use, since it was based on v6.28 ZEUS; and i had not shared it anywhere

I've been using this ROM since 5 days, and I'm getting a lot of touchscreen freeze and a lot of ghost clicks.
The only way to resolve this is to lock phone then unlock it...
But anyway, this ROM is so nice looking

Can anyone suggest or help me to make a rom based on stock kit kat firmware for locked bootloaders. A plain one without any apk that can be downloded. NO SONY APPS oh and with a plain google lockscreen with working wallpaper in settings. just a basic camera, and without any xposed mod etc. would be perfect if it was totally black also in settings. I have all this on my xperia t, but not on z yet. Dont care about z2 ports etc, just a basic rom ie 400 mb or so. any input greatly appreciated.

You mean you want a special rom made for you?
Maybe its bit hard thing to make a ROM but you can talk to some developers like @Rajeev and tell him what you want

Yes basically a rom with only the bare minimum of apps and features to make the phone work, built for speed. Everything else can always be added later. I will ask Rajeev but I think he is busy with 2 roms.

To make the settings completely black is it just a case of decompiling the framework res apk and changing most to holo dark? Or is there more to it.

Just wait for my Ultimate BlackXZ v1 tomorrow.. Then download it. After that remove all stuffs that u don't like.. U know u can make a rom for Z with only 367 mb Size..
Making a Black Themed apk is not just changing colors xml.. U should spend some hours.. There are pngs. U need to theme it to White from Black. U need to look in Layout Folder. Lot of works..

Hey thanks Rajeev, I will wait and try your rom but alot of devs call their roms black when they are grey, the one I have on my XT is my pals darklord and it is truly black, this is what I would like to have. I would also like to learn how to go about this :-B
