I recently noticed that Sunshine root now supported the One Mini 2. Has anyone attempted rooting by downloading the SUInstaller? And if so, did everything work out fine?

Can i use this method to root my htc one running 4.4.2?
HI guys, I recently bough an international HTC ONE from ebay, but the thing is it is on very old software, ie, Android 4.2.2 with sense 5 (software number: Maximus 710.0.0.) I wanted to update it myself so first thing i have do is to update the recovery from a very old CRM to latest TWRP(2.6.6) and to do that I download GOO manager, but before i intalled by GOO manager i decided to check if it is truly rooted and turns out it is not rooted (used root checker to check root)although it has a custom rom and a custom recovery! So depending on my above given situation what can i do to get root access>install TWRP>install insert coin sense 6 rom . If anyone can give step by step tutorial for all this then their help will be truly appreciated! (if you want any info about my phone for the tutorial then please ask for it)

Post a fastboot getvar all minus imei no & serial no. Also a screen shoot of your bootloader to be sure your bootloader is unlocked.

I have been looking for a way to root my HTC one m7 for I while now I have tried weak sauce but had no luck rooting, I have also tried to reset my phone to stock to root but still have failed. If anyone knows how to root a Verizon HTC one running android 4.4.2 please respond

i root my device with serveral supesu versions and it's rooted but many application that need root permission not work on it
I'm going to install CM12 on my wife's phone. But it's a long time since I did something like this with my own phone, so I have to ask.
Do I need to unlock the bootloader or do I only need to root? And if so, how do I root it?
When I rooted my s3 mini I used a used a pre-rooted firmware which isn't for her model.
