[Q] Htc one mini 2 back to stock - HTC One Mini 2

Okay, this is my first message after many years being here.
Hi guys. I have a question about the downgrading to stock firmware. I have the issue with the rom i have downloaded from the other thread named "stock rom blablabla"
After i flashed my phone, everything was fine for 10-15 minutes, then i plugged in my headphones( Beats Solo HD with RemoteTalk) and music randomly was changing to next, or previous song. Also,my phone makes calls by himself. I have S-On, TWRP recovery. Can i go back to stock rom with the OTA's and what i need to do?
Searching here, i found that the same problem was on HTC's with the Gingerbread and ICS, and i found the app named Headset Blocker, but it works only with the Gingerbread.
I hope u can help me solve my problem
P.S. sorry for my bad english.

Condtant freezes on new SGS

Helo, i bought my suposetly new SGS from a small shop in LT, the phone is an unlocked orange (UK operator) device. From my view it hasnt been flashed with custom rom, (no bootloader or cwr screen when loading, but im just comparing to my hd2 that i sold which had those)
The problem is- i get constant freezes/crashes when i do more than one task, for ex. If i play a video file and someone calls it freezes, or if im playing a game it craches on loading screens, if i listen to music and browsing net and then someone calls, phone is dead... I usualy press the on/off button for 10sec and it restarts.
Anybody have any idea what could be wrong?

You probably mean Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread)?
Seems like some of your files are corrupted. I would try hooking it to your PC and re-install your firmware using Samsung Kies.
ALT:
You can flash an official ROM. Downloaded from http://www.samfirmware.com/
Click:
Tool >> Firmware >> Android FW
good luck
Im still new to my phone, how can i reinstal firmware through Kies? Never seen an option for that, just updates,sync...
And if i flash a stock rom i supose it kills my waranty, since i should instal bootloaders, cwr and so on?

Flashing a firmware won't void your warranty, rooting however will, but all you need to do is flash back to a firmware, and they will never know

So how do i flash, reinstal firmware without rooting?

[Q] How to get my rom 2.3.4 back in Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830L

Hello Everybody,
I am new to XDA-Developers . I'll cut to the chase. I bought a Samsung galaxy ace GT-S5830L. It had 2.3.4 android Gingerbread in it. As I became more interested in android I searched Google to upgrade my phone. At last I found Cyanogen Mod 9 RC1 (4.0.4). I didn't realize then that it was a themed 2.3.4 android. So I installed that ROM by formatting my original stock ROM. I was very happy to have my phone updated. But then I realized that I cant go a day without FM radio, Camera, Video recording etc. So I decided to go back to my stock ROM. I couldn't find any original ROM for my mobile. So I downloaded the MythAce2. I was also charming. But I didn't like the theme. So the I downloaded MIUI expression v1.21. I liked it very much. Even FM radio was working. But FM radio couldn't work without Bluetooth and I couldn't control radio's volume. So I again browsed internet then found a way to flash my ace using ODIN multi downloaded + cooper. I successfully flashed my phone when I used laptop. But my laptop is wasted and I need to flash my ace running on MIUI expression v1.21 Because I cant run app in it. So when I try to flash ace with my desktop, I couldn't done it. Can anyone help my how to do it? I did every steps said in instruction. But it stuck and don't proceed even if it passed half and hour.
N.T: I am from Bangladesh.

HTC One WiFi issue -how to fix it-

Hello everybody
This thread is applicable to all HTC devices I owned, not only the one, and probably others Android devices too...
I used my HTC One rooted with TWRP and the stock ROM, but the new release is just in OTA in my country (4.2.2) and of course I wanted to update my HTC, but I first need to relock it and put the stock recovery.
Following another thread from xda, I perfectly put my One back to stock... except the wifi doesn't want to work anymore... This is not the first time it happens to me so the issue I THINK (i'm not a god in Smartphones) comes from the firmware you put into when reinstalling the recovery. On my HOX, I often had this issue and every time it was coming from a bad manipulation from me when re-flashing the stock firmware.
So I do not have THE solution, but if it happens to you , that probably comes from the firmware (wrong version)
For my One I simply share my computer's connection with my One to download the OTA upgrade (it doesn't work with data), and then I followed the instructions (stock).....
'hope it helps if you have some issues just ask I will try to help you with that

[Q] No sound at all after installing any custom Rom on S3 device

Hello everyone,
my first time here. I am running into an issue where if I install a custom rom on my phone, I get no sound whatsoever. No sound from the speaker nor the earpiece. Also, related to having no sound, any app or anything I do relating to sound won't run or work on the phone strangely. (like Youtube for example, won't run)
Everything else works fine.
I tried multiple roms, and it all had the same issue. When I reverted back to the stock rom or the backup I made fortunately, I get sound but I am lost as to why I get no sound from my S3 device with a custom rom.
My Samsung Galaxy S3 device is model: SCH-R530U for US cellular. I hope I can find someone here who knows how to fix this issue =\.
Could it be that the Roms I installed don't have the sound drivers packaged? I made sure the Roms were compatible and all.
Thanks for the help!
Anyone have any idea? And I realized I posted in the wrong forum subsection. It should be in the regular troubleshooting one, not the I9305 troubleshooting one.
Also, when I revert back to my old stock, I somehow get all these random gapp errors. Not sure if thats because I installed a different gapp on the new custom rom and that could have affected the previous backup?

This question is probably in the wrong section but anyway...I did. I never checked the phone prior to rooting so I'm not sure if a "bad root" was the cause or not. However, I experienced the exact same problem as you. I was originally on build OPS27.82-19-4 so I reflashed stock OPS27.82-19-4 as described here. But I still had the same problem. On a whim I randomly flashed build OPS27.82-19-4 following the same instructions. The phone has been working great ever since (I have it rooted, xposed. etc...). Not sure why there was a problem, or if reflashing the newer build "fixed" it or not...but as I said, all is good now. FWIW, when I check the sim status in settings>about phone, the network section is blank. It was blank when I had problems too.
Perhaps this will help you..
PS When I reflashed the firmware, the phone would boot into fastboot mode, then when I selected "Start" it would boot to the OS. If you run into that, here is how it was fixed. See posts 5, 6, 7, & 8.
Good luck!
I had a similar problem, I did the root, TWRP, I ended up giving up and flash again on the stock of the bike G6 Play (Brazil) available here in XDA, to my surprise, he made and received calls normally, the speaker for music and connections of other applications (Whatsapp, Messenger, Hangouts, etc.), but it did not work for the rom dialer.
I thought I had a problem, it was when a system update appeared, I installed it and it worked again.
I figured it was some rom bug I installed.
Tanks for the help.
I solved the problem flashing the phone with flashrom.bat instead of put the comand one by one.

That's because a custom rom or GSI does not have all the necessary files. 99.9% of the time, flashing stock will fix a problem.
